Zacarías 12
1 Una profecía: Este mensaje vino del Señor, respecto a Israel, una declaración del Señor que extendió los cielos, y quien estableció los cimientos de la tierra y puso aliento de vida en os seres humanos.
The oracle of the word of Yahweh, on Israel, —Declareth Yahweh—Stretching out the heavens, and founding the earth, and fashioning the spirit of man within him:
2 ¡Miren! Yo haré de Jerusalén una copa con bebida alcohólica que hará tambalear a todas las las naciones vecinas como borrachos cuando se acerquen a atacar a Judá y a Jerusalén.
Lo! I am making Jerusalem a bowl of reeling to all the peoples, round about, —Moreover also, on Judah, shall it be in the siege against Jerusalem;
3 Ese día haré que Jerusalén sea como una roca pesada para todas las personas. Y cualquiera que trate de levantar la roca quedará muy lastimado. Todas las naciones se unirán entonces para atacar a Jerusalén.
And it shall come to pass, in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a lifting-stone, to all the peoples, all who seek to lift her, shall, cut themselves in pieces, —though all the nations of the earth, gather themselves together against her.
4 Ese día haré que los caballos se atemoricen y que los jinetes se vuelvan locos, declara el Señor, pero yo cuidaré del pueblo de Judá mientas dejo ciegos a los caballos de sus enemigos.
In that day, Declareth Yahweh, I will smite every horse with terror, and his rider with madness, —and, over the house of Judah, will I keep opening mine eyes, and, every horse of the peoples, will I smite with blindness.
5 Entonces las familias de Judá se dirán para sí mismos: el pueblo de Jerusalén es fuerte gracias a su Dios, el Señor Todopoderoso.
Then will the chiefs of Judah say in their hearts, —A strength unto me, [would be] the inhabitants of Jerusalem, in Yahweh of hosts, their God.
6 Ese día haré que las familias de Judá sean como carbones encendidos en el bosque, o como antorchas ardientes en un campo de pasto seco. Ellos destruirán con fuego todo lo que encuentren a su paso a diestra y siniestra, a todos los pueblos vecinos, mientras que el pueblo de Jerusalén estará seguro en su ciudad.
In that day, will I make the chiefs of Judah like a pan of fire among sticks, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf, so shall they devour, on the right hand and on the left, all the peoples round about; so shall Jerusalem yet, be inhabited, in her own place, as Jerusalem.
7 El Señor le dará la victoria primero a los soldados de Judá, para que la Gloria de la casa de David y la Gloria de los habitantes de Jerusalén no sea mayor que la de Judá.
But Yahweh will save the tents of Judah first, —lest the honour of the house of David, and the honour of the inhabitant of Jerusalem, should be magnified over Judah.
8 Ese día el Señor pondrá un escudo protector alrededor del pueblo de Jerusalén para que hasta el más torpe sea un guerrero hábil como David, y la casa de Davod será como Dios, como el ángel del Señor que los guía.
In that day, will Yahweh, throw a covering, around the inhabitant of Jerusalem, so shall the tottering among them, in that day, become like David, —and the house of David—like God, like the messenger of Yahweh, before them.
9 Ese día comenzaré a destruir a todas las naciones que atacan a Jerusalén.
And it shall come to pass, in that day, —That I will seek to destroy all the nations, that come against Jerusalem.
10 Yo enviaré un espíritu de gracia y oración en la casa de David y sobe los habitantes de Jerusalén. Ellos mirarán al que han atravesado, y se lamentarán sobre él, como quien guarda luto por su único hijo, llorando amargamente por su romogénito.
But I will pour out upon the house of David and upon the inhabitant of Jerusalem, the spirit of favour, and of supplications, and they will look unto me, whom they have pierced, —and will wail over him, as one waileth over an only son, and will make bitter outcry over him, as one maketh bitter outcry over a firstborn.
11 Ese día el lamento de Jerusalén será tan grande como el lamento en Hadad Rimón en el Valle de Meguido.
In that day, will the wailing, be great, in Jerusalem, as the wailing of Hadadrimmon, in the valley of Megiddon;
12 La tierra lamentará, cada familia por separado: la casa de la familia de David sola y sus mujeres, así como las familias de Natán,
So shall the land, wail, family by family, apart, —the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart, the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
13 Leví, y Simeí,
The family of the house of Levi, apart, and their wives apart, the family of Shimei, apart, —and their wives apart:
14 además las familias sobrevivientes y sus mujeres, cada grupo llorando amargamente, todos por separado.
All the families that remain, family by family, apart, —and their wives, apart.
