Salmos 77

1 Para Jedutún, el director del coro. Un salmo de Asaf. Clamo a Dios pidiendo su ayuda. Sí, incluso a gritos. ¡Si tan solo Dios me oyera!

TO THE OVERSEER. FOR JEDUTHUN. A PSALM OF ASAPH. My voice [is] to God, and I cry, My voice [is] to God, And He has given ear to me.

2 Cuando estuve en aflicción oré al Señor. Toda la noche levanté mis manos al cielo en oración a él, pero no pude hallar consuelo alguno.

I sought the Lord in a day of my distress, My hand has been spread out by night, And it does not cease, My soul has refused to be comforted.

3 Medité en Dios con gemidos; pensé en él pero solo siento desconsuelo. (Selah)

I remember God, and make a noise, I meditate, and my spirit is feeble. (Selah)

4 No me dejas dormir. Estaba tan afligido que no podía ni hablar.

You have taken hold of the watches of my eyes, I have been moved, and I do not speak.

5 Pienso en los viejos tiempos, que fueron hace tantos años.

I have reckoned the days of old, The years of the ages.

6 Recuerdo los cantos que solía cantar por las noches. Medito entonces y me pregunto:

I remember my music in the night, I meditate with my heart, and my spirit searches diligently:

7 ¿Se habrá cansado el Señor de mi para siempre? ¿Volverá nuevamente a agradarse de mi?

Does the Lord cast off for all ages? Does He add to be pleased no longer?

8 ¿Se habrá apagado para siempre su amor inagotable? ¿Se acabaron sus promesas?

Has His kindness ceased forever? The saying failed from generation to generation?

9 ¿Se ha olvidado Dios de su bondad? ¿Habrá cerrado de un portazo las puertas a su compasión? (Selah)

Has God forgotten [His] favors? Has He shut up His mercies in anger? (Selah)

10 Entonces dije: “Lo que más me duele es que el Señor ya no me trata como antes”.

And I say: “My weakness is, The changes of the right hand of the Most High.”

11 Recuerdo lo que has hecho, Señor. Recuerdo las maravillas que hiciste hace mucho tiempo.

I mention the doings of YAH, For I remember Your wonders of old,

12 Meditaré en todo lo que has logrado. Pensaré en tus actos.

And I have meditated on all Your working, And I talk concerning Your doings.

13 Señor, tus caminos son santos. ¿Hay algún dios tan grande como tú?

O God, Your way [is] in holiness, Who [is] a great god like God?

14 Tú eres el Dios que hace maravillas. Has revelado tu poder a las naciones.

You [are] the God doing wonders. You have made Your strength known among the peoples,

15 Con tu fuerza salvaste a tu pueblo, a los descendientes de Jacob y José. (Selah)

You have redeemed Your people with strength, The sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)

16 Cuando las aguas te vieron y temblaron. ¡Sí! ¡Temblaron hasta las profundidades!

The waters have seen You, O God, The waters have seen You, They are afraid—also depths are troubled.

17 Las nubes derramaron lluvia, el trueno retumbó en los cielos y tus relámpagos volaban como flechas.

Thick clouds have poured out waters, The skies have given forth a noise, Also—Your arrows go up and down.

18 Tu trueno retumbó desde el torbellino, y los relámpagos iluminaron el mundo. La tierra temblaba y se estremecía.

The voice of Your thunder [is] in the spheres, Lightnings have lightened the world, The earth has trembled, indeed, it shakes.

19 Tu camino conducía al mar, y pasaba por el mar profundo. Aun así tus huellas eran invisibles.

Your way [is] in the sea, And Your paths in many waters, And Your tracks have not been known.

20 Guiaste a tu pueblo como un rebaño, pastoreado por Moisés y Aarón.

You have led Your people as a flock, By the hand of Moses and Aaron!
