Salmos 68
1 Para el director del coro. Un salmo de David. Un cántico. Levántate, Dios, y dispersa a tus enemigos. ¡Que todos los que odian a Dios, huyan de su presencia!
To the Overseer. — A Psalm, a song of David. Rise doth God — scattered are His enemies! And those hating Him flee from His face.
2 Sóplalos y disípalos como si fueran solo humo; derrítelos como la cera en el fuego. Que los malvados mueran ante la presencia de Dios.
As the driving away of smoke Thou drivest away, As the melting of wax before fire, The wicked perish at the presence of God.
3 Pero los justos están felices, y celebran en la presencia de Dios, llenos de alegría.
And the righteous rejoice, they exult before God, And they joy with gladness.
4 ¡Canten alabanzas a Dios! ¡Canten alabanzas a su maravilloso nombre! ¡Alaben al que cabalga entre las nubes. ¡Su nombre es El Señor ¡Alégrense en su presencia!
Sing ye to God — praise His name, Raise up a highway for Him who is riding in deserts, In Jah [is] His name, and exult before Him.
5 Él es el padre de los huérfanos y protector de las viudas. Este es Dios, el que vive en su lugar santo.
Father of the fatherless, and judge of the widows, [Is] God in His holy habitation.
6 Dios provee una familia para los abandonados. Libera a los prisioneros y los hace celebrar con gozo. Pero los rebeldes terminan viviendo en un terreno baldío y solitario.
God — causing the lonely to dwell at home, Bringing out bound ones into prosperity, Only — the refractory have inhabited a dry place.
7 Dios, cuando sacaste a tu pueblo, cuando marchaste por el desierto, (Selah)
O God, in Thy going forth before Thy people, In Thy stepping through the wilderness, (Selah)
8 la tierra tembló y los cielos se sacudieron ante tu presencia en el Sinaí. Ante Dios, el Dios de Israel.
The earth hath shaken, Yea, the heavens have dropped before God, This Sinai — before God, the God of Israel.
9 Tú enviaste abundante lluvia para regar la tierra prometida, refrescándola cuando estuvo seca.
A shower of free-will gifts thou shakest out, O God. Thine inheritance, when it hath been weary, Thou hast established it.
10 Tu pueblo se estableció allí y por tu bondad, oh Dios, cuidaste de los pobres. (Selah)
Thy company have dwelt in it, Thou preparest in Thy goodness for the poor, O God.
11 El Señor con su palabra ordena un gran ejército de mujeres que predican las buenas noticias.
The Lord doth give the saying, The female proclaimers [are] a numerous host.
12 Los reyes de los ejércitos enemigos huyen, y las mujeres que se quedaron se repartieron el botín.
Kings of hosts flee utterly away, And a female inhabitant of the house apportioneth spoil.
13 ¿Por qué se quedan ustedes en casa? Hay decoraciones en forma de palomas con alas de plata y plumas de oro que deben tomarse.
Though ye do lie between two boundaries, Wings of a dove covered with silver, And her pinions with yellow gold.
14 El Todopoderoso dispersó a los reyes extranjeros como una tormenta de nieve sobre el Monte Salmón.
When the Mighty spreadeth kings in it, It doth snow in Salmon.
15 “El Monte de Dios”, El Monte Basán, con sus muchas cumbres, Monte Basán,
A hill of God [is] the hill of Bashan, A hill of heights [is] the hill of Bashan.
16 ¿por qué miras con celo al Monte de Dios, donde el Señor vivirá para siempre?
Why do ye envy, O high hills, The hill God hath desired for His seat? Jehovah also doth tabernacle for ever.
17 Los carruajes de Dios son incontables. Hay miles de miles de ellos. Él viene entre ellos hasta El Monte Sinai, hasta su Templo.
The chariots of God [are] myriads, thousands of changes, The Lord [is] among them, in Sinai, in the sanctuary.
18 Al subir tu trono en las alturas, te llevaste una procesión de cautivos. Recibiste regalos de los pueblos, incluso de los que se rebelaron contra la casa del Señor Dios.
Thou hast ascended on high, Thou hast taken captive captivity, Thou hast taken gifts for men, That even the refractory may rest, O Jah God.
19 Sea el Señor bendito, porque cada día soporta nuestras cargas. Dios es nuestra salvación. (Selah)
Blessed [is] the Lord, day by day He layeth on us. God Himself [is] our salvation. (Selah)
20 Para nosotros, Dios es un Dios que salva. El Señor Dios nos provee un escape de la muerte.
God Himself [is] to us a God for deliverances, And Jehovah Lord hath the outgoings of death.
21 Pero Dios aplastará las cabezas de sus enemigos, esas cabezas con abundante cabello de quienes seguirán pecando.
Only — God doth smite The head of His enemies, The hairy crown of a habitual walker in his guilt.
22 El Señor dice: “Yo los traeré de Basán. Los arrastraré desde las profundidades el mar,
The Lord said: 'From Bashan I bring back, I bring back from the depths of the sea.
23 y ustedes, pueblo mío, caminarán en su sangre. Incluso los perros tendrán una porción de los enemigos de mi pueblo”.
So that thou dashest thy foot in blood, [In the blood of] enemies — the tongue of Thy dogs.'
24 La gente puede ver tu procesión, oh Dios, la procesión de mi Dios y mi Rey que se dirige al Templo.
They have seen Thy goings, O God, Goings of my God, my king, in the sanctuary.
25 Los cantantes van al frente, los músicos van detrás, y en el medio las jóvenes con panderetas.
Singers have been before, Behind [are] players on instruments, In the midst virgins playing with timbrels.
26 Alaben a Dios, todos los que han venido a adorar. Alaben al Señor todos los hijos del pueblo de Israel.
In assemblies bless ye God, The Lord — from the fountain of Israel.
27 Allí se ve la pequeña tribu de Benjamín, seguida de los muchos líderes de Judá; luego los líderes de Zabulón y Neftalí.
There [is] little Benjamin their ruler, Heads of Judah their defence, Heads of Zebulun — heads of Naphtali.
28 Muestra tu poder, oh Dios. Revela tu fuerza, Señor, como lo has hecho con nosotros en el pasado.
Thy God hath commanded thy strength, Be strong, O God, this Thou hast wrought for us.
29 Los reyes te rinden tributo por tu Templo en Jerusalén.
Because of Thy temple at Jerusalem, To Thee do kings bring a present.
30 ¡Condena a las bestias de los montes, a los bueyes y terneros! Sean humillados y traigan barras de plata como tributo a ti! ¡Dispersa, Señor, a las naciones sanguinarias!
Rebuke a beast of the reeds, a company of bulls, With calves of the peoples, Each humbling himself with pieces of silver, Scatter Thou peoples delighting in conflicts.
31 ¡Que venga Egipto con regalos de bronce; que se apresure Etiopía en traer sus tributos a Dios!
Come do fat ones out of Egypt, Cush causeth her hands to run to God.
32 Canten a Dios, reinos de la tierra, canten alabanzas al Señor. (Selah)
Kingdoms of the earth, sing ye to God, Praise ye the Lord. (Selah)
33 ¡Canten al que cabalga por los cielos, su fuerte voz suena como el trueno!
To him who is riding on the heavens of the heavens of old, Lo, He giveth with His voice a strong voice.
34 Que todos conozcan el poder de Dios: su majestad se extiende por todo Israel, y su fuerza se revela en los cielos.
Ascribe ye strength to God, Over Israel [is] His excellency, and His strength in the clouds.
35 ¡Cuán asombroso es Dios en su Templo! ¡El Dios de Israel le da fuerza y poder a su pueblo! ¡Alaben a Dios!
Fearful, O God, out of Thy sanctuaries, The God of Israel Himself, Giving strength and might to the people. Blessed [is] God!
