Salmos 65
1 Para el director del coro. Un salmo de David. Una canción. Dios, tú mereces ser alabado y en Sión cumpliremos las promesas que te hemos hecho.
To the Overseer. — A Psalm of David. A Song. To Thee, silence — praise, O God, [is] in Zion, And to Thee is a vow completed.
2 Tú escuchas nuestras oraciones y todos acuden a ti.
Hearer of prayer, to Thee all flesh cometh.
3 Aunque nos estemos ahogando en nuestros pecados y desobediencia, tú nos perdonas.
Matters of iniquities were mightier than I, Our transgressions — Thou dost cover them.
4 Felices los que tú eliges para que estén cerca de ti, los que viven en tus cortes. ¡Nos deleitamos con las bendiciones que recibimos en tu casa, tu Santo Templo!
O the happiness of [him whom] Thou choosest, And drawest near, he inhabiteth Thy courts, We are satisfied with the goodness of Thy house, Thy holy temple.
5 En tu bondad nos respondes a través de las cosas maravillosas que haces, oh Dios, por nuestra salvación. Todos los habitantes de la tierra pueden confiar en ti, incluso los que navegan en océanos lejanos.
By fearful things in righteousness Thou answerest us, O God of our salvation, The confidence of all far off ends of earth and sea.
6 Tú hiciste las montañas con tu poder, porque eres fuerte.
Establishing mountains by His power, He hath been girded with might,
7 Tú calmas los mares embravecidos y el fuerte oleaje. Silencias el ruido que causan las naciones.
Restraining the noise of seas, the noise of their billows, And the multitude of the peoples.
8 Todos, incluso los que viven lejos, se maravillan de tus maravillas, de Este a Oeste todos cantan de alegría.
And the inhabitants of the uttermost parts From Thy signs are afraid, The outgoings of morning and evening Thou causest to sing.
9 Tú cuidas de la tierra y la riegas con la lluvia. Haces que produzca fruto. Dios, tu río está lleno de agua para hacer crecer el grano. Así lo has hecho.
Thou hast inspected the earth, and waterest it, Thou makest it very rich, the rivulet of God [is] full of water, Thou preparest their corn, When thus Thou dost prepare it,
10 Tú llenas de agua los surcos del arado y suavizas las crestas. Así también bendices las cosechas.
Its ridges have been filled, Deepened hath been its furrow, With showers Thou dost soften it, Its springing up Thou blessest.
11 Tú haces que en la mejor temporada del año se produzca una cosecha maravillosa, y llenas los carros con bienes.
Thou hast crowned the year of Thy goodness, And Thy paths drop fatness.
12 Los pastos del desierto crecen abundantes, y las laderas se visten de flores brillantes.
Drop do the pastures of a wilderness, And joy of the heights Thou girdest on.
13 Los prados se cubren de rebaños de ovejas y los valles con campos de trigo. Todo canta de alegría triunfante.
Clothed have lambs the flock, And valleys are covered with corn, They shout — yea, they sing!
