Salmos 63

1 Un salmo de David, cuando estaba en el desierto de Judá. Dios, tú eres mi Dios y te busco de todo corazón. Mi ser entero te anhela y tiene sed de ti, en medio de esta tierra seca, árida y carente de aguas.

`The salm of Dauid, `whanne he was in the desert of Judee. God, my God, Y wake to thee ful eerli. Mi soule thirstide to thee; my fleisch thirstide to thee ful many foold.

2 Te veo en el Templo. Contemplo tu poder y tu gloria.

In a lond forsakun with out wei, and with out water, so Y apperide to thee in hooli; that Y schulde se thi vertu, and thi glorie.

3 Tu fidelidad y amor son mejores que la vida misma. Por ello te alabaré.

For thi merci is betere than lyues; my lippis schulen herie thee.

4 Te agradeceré tanto como viva. Elevo mis manos hacia ti y celebro tu maravilloso carácter.

So Y schal blesse thee in my lijf; and in thi name Y schal reise myn hondis.

5 Tú me satisfaces más que el mejor de los alimentos. Te alabaré con canciones alegres.

Mi soule be fillid as with inner fatnesse and vttermere fatnesse; and my mouth schal herie with lippis of ful out ioiyng.

6 Paso la noche entera pensando en ti desde que me acuesto, meditando sobre ti.

So Y hadde mynde on thee on my bed, in morewtidis Y shal thenke of thee;

7 Porque eres quien me ayuda, canto feliz bajo tus alas.

for thou were myn helpere. And in the keueryng of thi wyngis Y schal make `ful out ioye, my soule cleuede after thee;

8 Me aferro a ti y tus fuertes brazos me levantan.

9 Los que tratan de destruirme irán a la tumba.

Forsothe thei souyten in veyn my lijf, thei schulen entre in to the lower thingis of erthe;

10 Morirán a punta de espada y serán alimento para los chacales.

11 Pero el rey vivirá feliz por todo lo que Dios ha hecho. Todos los que siguen a Dios le alabarán, pero los que mienten serán silenciados.

But the king schal be glad in God; and alle men schulen be preysid that sweren in hym, for the mouth of hem, that speken wickid thingis, is stoppid.
