Salmos 46
1 Para el director del coro, por los hijos de Coré. Según e canto de Alamot. Dios es nuestra protección y nuestra fuerza; siempre listo para ayudar cuando vienen los problemas.
To the Overseer. — By sons of Korah. 'For the Virgins.' — A song. God [is] to us a refuge and strength, A help in adversities found most surely.
2 Así que no tendremos miedo aunque la tierra tiemble, aunque las montañas caigan hacia el fondo de los océanos,
Therefore we fear not in the changing of earth, And in the slipping of mountains Into the heart of the seas.
3 Aunque las aguas rujan y, ¡Aunque las montañas tiemblen y las aguas se levanten violentamente! (Selah)
Roar — troubled are its waters, Mountains they shake in its pride. (Selah)
4 Un río fluye para traer felicidad a los que viven en la ciudad de Dios, la ciudad santa donde vive el Altísimo.
A river — its rivulets rejoice the city of God, Thy holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High.
5 Dios está en la mitad de la ciudad; y esta nunca caerá. Dios la protege con la rapidez de la luz.
God [is] in her midst — she is not moved, God doth help her at the turn of the morn!
6 Las naciones están en confusión, Los reinos colapsan. Dios levanta su voz y la tierra se estremece.
Troubled have been nations, Moved have been kingdoms, He hath given forth with His voice, earth melteth.
7 El Señor Todopoderoso está con nosotros; El Dios de Jacob nos protege. (Selah)
Jehovah of Hosts [is] with us, A tower for us [is] the God of Jacob. (Selah)
8 ¡Ven para veas lo que el Señor ha hecho! ¡Mira las cosas maravillosas que ha hecho en la tierra!
Come ye, see the works of Jehovah, Who hath done astonishing things in the earth,
9 Él detiene guerras alrededor de todo el mundo. Aplasta ballestas; rompe lanzas; incendia los escudos.
Causing wars to cease, Unto the end of the earth, the bow he shivereth, And the spear He hath cut asunder, Chariots he doth burn with fire.
10 ¡Dejen de pelear! ¡Reconozcan que yo soy Dios! Yo soy el gobernador de las naciones; Soy el gobernador de la tierra.
Desist, and know that I [am] God, I am exalted among nations, I am exalted in the earth.
11 El Señor todopoderoso está con nosotros; El Dios de Jacob nos protege. (Selah)
Jehovah of hosts [is] with us, A tower for us [is] the God of Jacob! (Selah)
