Salmos 147
1 ¡Alaben al Señor, porque es bueno cantar alabanzas a Dios! ¡Alabarle es bueno y maravilloso!
Praise ye Jah! For [it is] good to praise our God, For pleasant — comely [is] praise.
2 El Señor reconstruirá Jerusalén y reunirá al pueblo que ha sido esparcido.
Building Jerusalem [is] Jehovah, The driven away of Israel He gathereth.
3 Él sana a los de corazón quebrantado, y venda las heridas.
Who is giving healing to the broken of heart, And is binding up their griefs.
4 Él sabe cuántas estrellas fueron hechas, y las llama a cada una por su nombre.
Appointing the number of the stars, To all them He giveth names.
5 ¡Cuán grande es nuestro Señor! ¡Su poder es inmenso! ¡Su conocimiento es infinito!
Great [is] our Lord, and abundant in power, Of His understanding there is no narration.
6 El Señor ayuda a levantar a los agobiados, pero a los malvados los derriba.
Jehovah is causing the meek to stand, Making low the wicked unto the earth.
7 ¡Canten con agradecimiento al Señor! ¡Canten alabanzas a Dios con arpa!
Answer ye to Jehovah with thanksgiving, Sing ye to our God with a harp.
8 Él cubre el cielo con nubes para traer lluvia a la tierra, y hace crecer el pasto en las colinas.
Who is covering the heavens with clouds, Who is preparing for the earth rain, Who is causing grass to spring up [on] mountains,
9 Él alimenta a los animales, y a los cuervos cuando lo piden.
Giving to the beast its food, To the young of the ravens that call.
10 El Señor no se complace de la fuera de caballos de guerra ni del poder humano.
Not in the might of the horse doth He delight, Not in the legs of a man is He pleased.
11 En cambio el Señor se alegra con quienes lo siguen, aquellos que ponen su confianza en su amor y fidelidad.
Jehovah is pleased with those fearing Him, With those waiting for His kindness.
12 ¡Alaba al Señor, Jerusalén! ¡Sión, alaba a tu Dios!
Glorify, O Jerusalem, Jehovah, Praise thy God, O Zion.
13 Él fortalece las rejas de las puertas de la ciudad, y bendice a los hijos que habitan contigo.
For He did strengthen the bars of thy gates, He hath blessed thy sons in thy midst.
14 Él mantiene las fronteras de tu nación seguras contra los ataques, y te provee del mejor trigo.
Who is making thy border peace, [With] the fat of wheat He satisfieth Thee.
15 Él envía sus órdenes por todo el mundo y de inmediato su voluntad es ejecutada.
Who is sending forth His saying [on] earth, Very speedily doth His word run.
16 Él envía la nieve tan blanca como la lana, y esparce la escarcha de hielo como cenizas.
Who is giving snow like wool, Hoar-frost as ashes He scattereth.
17 Él envía el granizo como piedras. ¿Quién pudiera soportar el frío que él envía?
Casting forth His ice like morsels, Before His cold who doth stand?
18 Entonces con su voz de mando la hace derretir. Él sopla y el agua fluye.
He sendeth forth His word and melteth them, He causeth His wind to blow — the waters flow.
19 Él proclama su palabra a Jacob; sus principios y leyes a Israel.
Declaring His words to Jacob, His statutes and His judgments to Israel.
20 Él no ha hecho estas cosas por ninguna otra nación, pues ellos no conocen sus leyes. ¡Alaben al Señor!
He hath not done so to any nation, As to judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye Jah!
