Salmos 146

1 ¡Alaben al Señor! ¡Yo alabo al Señor con todo mi ser!

Alleluia, [a Psalm] of Aggaeus and Zacharias. My soul, praise the Lord.

2 Alabaré al Señor mientras viva. Cantaré alabanzas a Dios mientras respire.

While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist.

3 No pongan su confianza en los líderes humanos. Ellos no pueden salvarnos.

Trust not in princes, nor in the children of men, in whom there is no safety.

4 Tan solo después de un suspiro vuelven al polvo, y ese día todos sus planes mueren con ellos.

His breath shall go forth, and he shall return to his earth; in that day all his thoughts shall perish.

5 Felices los que tienen al Dios de Jacob como su ayudador. Su esperanza es el Señor su Dios.

Blessed is he whose helper is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God:

6 El que hizo el cielo y la tierra, el mar con todo lo que en ellos hay. Él es fiel para siempre.

who made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all things in them: who keeps truth for ever:

7 Él garantiza la justicia para los oprimidos. Él da alimento al hambriento. El Señor libera a los prisioneros.

who executes judgment for the wronged: who gives food to the hungry. The Lord looses the fettered ones:

8 El Señor devuelve la vista a los ciegos; levanta a los agobiados, y ama a los que hacen lo recto.

the Lord gives wisdom to the blind: The Lord sets up the broken down: the Lord loves the righteous: the Lord preserves the strangers;

9 El Señor cuida de los extranjeros que habitan entre nosotros. Él cuida de las viudas y los huérfanos. Sin embargo, no deja prosperar a los malvados.

he will relieve the orphan and widow: but will utterly remove the way of sinners.

10 El Señor reinará para siempre. Oh, Sión, él será tu Dios por todas las generaciones. ¡Alaben al Señor!

The Lord shall reign for ever, [even] your God, O Sion, to all generations.
