Salmos 141
1 Para el director del coro. Un Salmo de David. ¡Oh, Señor! A ti calmo. ¡Apresúrate a ayudarme! ¡Escucha, por favor, cuando clamo por tu ayuda!
A Psalm of David. Jehovah, I have called upon thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I call unto thee.
2 Que I oración se eleve como incienso hacia ti. Elevo mis manos como una ofrenda vespertina.
Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense, the lifting up of my hands as the evening oblation.
3 Señor, no permitas que diga nada indebido. Toma control de mis conversaciones.
Set a watch, O Jehovah, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
4 No me dejes pensar en cosas malas ni tomar parte con los malvados. No participaré en sus fiestas.
Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise deeds of wickedness with men that are workers of iniquity; and let me not eat of their dainties.
5 Deja que sea una persona buena la que me castigue con amor y que me corrija. Sería como una unción, y no me negaré a ello. Pero aún así oraré por los que hacen el mal.
Let the righteous smite me, it is kindness; and let him reprove me, it is an excellent oil which my head shall not refuse: for yet my prayer also is [for them] in their calamities.
6 Ellos serán derribados con el poder de la roca que los juzga, y reconocerán que yo digo la verdad.
When their judges are thrown down from the rocks, they shall hear my words, for they are sweet.
7 Así como la tierra queda dividida por el arado, así sus huesos serán esparcidos en la boca del Seol. (Sheol h7585)
Our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol, as when one cutteth and cleaveth [wood] upon the earth. (Sheol h7585)
8 Pero yo te busco a ti, Señor y Dios, porque en ti encuentro protección. ¡No me dejes morir!
For unto thee, Jehovah, Lord, are mine eyes; in thee do I trust: leave not my soul destitute.
9 Mantenme a salvo de la trampa que me han tendido, de las redes de los malvados.
Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me, and from the traps of the workers of iniquity.
10 Déjalos caer en sus propias trampas, pero a mí déjame pasar sin daño alguno.
Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal pass over.
