1 ¡Alaben al Señor! ¡Alaben su santo nombre! Alaben al Señor, todos ustedes, sus siervos
Halleluyah ·praise Yah·! Praise Adonai’s name! Praise him, you servants of Adonai,
2 que lo adoran en la casa del Señor, en los atrios de nuestro Dios.
you who stand in Adonai’s house, in the courts of our God’s house.
3 Alaben al Señor, porque Él es bueno; ¡Canten alabanzas a su nombre por todas sus maravillas!
Halleluyah ·praise Yah·, for Adonai is good. Sing zahmar ·musical praise· to his name, for that is pleasant.
4 Porque el Señor ha escogido a Jacob para sí mismo; a Israel lo hecho suyo.
For Yah has chosen Jacob [Supplanter] for himself; Israel [God prevails] for his own segulah ·special treasure·.
5 Conozco cuán grande es el Señor, nuestro Dios es más grande que todos los dioses.
For I know that Adonai is great, that our Lord is above all deities.
6 El Señor hace lo que le place en los cielos y en la tierra, en el mar y en los océanos profundo.
Whatever Adonai pleased, that he has done, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps;
7 Él levanta las nubes sobre la tierra, hace los relámpagos y las lluvias, envía los vientos desde sus almacenes.
who causes the clouds to rise from the ends of the earth; who makes lightnings with the rain; who brings the wind out of his treasuries;
8 Acabó con los primogénitos de Egipto, tanto humanos como animales.
Who struck the firstborn of Egypt [Abode of slavery], both of man and animal;
9 Hizo milagros maravillosos entre ustedes en Egipto, contra el Faraón y sus siervos.
Who sent signs and wonders into the middle of you, Egypt [Abode of slavery], on Pharaoh, and on all his servants;
10 Derribó muchas naciones, mató a reyes con gran poderío, tales como
who struck many nations, and killed mighty kings,
11 Sijón, rey de los amorreos, Og, rey de Basán, y todos los reyes que gobernaron sobre Canaán.
Sihon king of the Amorites [Descendants of Talkers], Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan [Humbled],
12 Y entregó sus tierras a Israel, su pueblo predilecto, para que las poseyeran.
and gave their land for a heritage, a heritage to Israel [God prevails], his people.
13 Señor, tu nombre permanece para siempre; tú, Señor, serás recordado por todas las generaciones.
Your name, Adonai, endures forever; your renown, Adonai, throughout all generations.
14 EL Señor reivindicará a su pueblo; y mostrará compasión con los que le siguen.
For Adonai will judge his people, and have compassion on his servants.
15 Los ídolos de las naciones paganas son solo oro y metal, hechos por manos humanas.
The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
16 Tienen bocas, pero no pueden hablar; tienen ojos, pero no pueden ver.
They have mouths, but they can’t speak. They have eyes, but they can’t see.
17 Tienen oídos, pero no pueden oír; ¡Ni siquiera pueden respirar!
They have ears, but they can’t hear; neither is there any breath in their mouths.
18 Aquellos que hacen ídolos serán como ellos, y también todos los que confíen en ellos.
Those who make them will be like them; yes, everyone who trusts in them.
19 Pueblo de Israel, ¡Alaben al Señor! Descendientes de Aarón, ¡Alaben al Señor!
House of Israel [God prevails], praise Adonai! House of Aaron [Light-bringer], praise Adonai!
20 Levitas, ¡Alaben al Señor! Todos los que adoran al Señor, ¡Alábenle!
House of Levi [United with], praise Adonai! You who fear Adonai, praise Adonai!
21 ¡Alaben al Señor desde Sión, porque Él habita en Jerusalén! ¡Alaben al Señor!
