Salmos 119
1 Felices son los que hacen lo recto y siguen las enseñanzas del Señor.
Happy are they who are upright in their way, Who walk in the law of the LORD!
2 Felices los que guardan sus mandamientos y con sinceridad desean seguirle.
Happy are they who observe his ordinances, And seek him with their whole heart;
3 Ellos no hacen el mal, y andan por su camino.
Who also do no iniquity, But walk in his ways!
4 Tú nos has ordenado seguir tus instrucciones con cuidado.
Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
5 ¡Deseo poder cumplir tus reglas de tal forma que puedas confiar en mi!
O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
6 Entonces no pasaré vergüenza cuando compare lo que hago con tus enseñanzas.
Then shall I not be put to shame, When I have respect to all thy commandments.
7 Te alabaré con todo mi corazón porque de ti aprendo el modo correcto de vivir.
I will praise thee in uprightness of heart, When I shall have learned thy righteous laws.
8 Observaré tus leyes. ¡No me abandones nunca!
I will keep thy statutes; Do not utterly forsake me!
9 ¿Cómo puede un joven mantenerse puro? Siguiendo tus enseñanzas.
How shall a young man keep his way pure? By taking heed to it according to thy word.
10 Te alabo con todo mi corazón. No permitas que me aparte de tus mandamientos.
With my whole heart have I sought thee; O let me not wander from thy commandments!
11 En mi mente guardo tus enseñanzas para no pecar contra ti.
Thy word have I hid in my heart, That I might not sin against thee.
12 ¡Gracias, Señor, por enseñarme lo que debo hacer!
Blessed be thou, O LORD! O teach me thy statutes!
13 Repito en voz alta tus enseñanzas.
With my lips do I declare All the precepts of thy mouth.
14 Me deleito en tus enseñanzas más que en tener mucho dinero.
In the way of thine ordinances I rejoice As much as in all riches.
15 Meditaré en tus enseñanzas con suma devoción, y reflexionaré sobre tus caminos.
I meditate on thy precepts, And have respect unto thy ways.
16 Me deleitaré en seguir tus mandamientos, y no olvidaré tus enseñanzas.
I delight myself in thy statutes; I do not forget thy word.
17 Sé bondadoso con tu siervo para poder vivir y seguir tus enseñanzas.
Deal kindly with thy servant, that I may live, And have regard to thy word!
18 Abre mis ojos para así poder entender las maravillas de tu ley.
Open thou mine eyes, That I may behold wondrous things out of thy law!
19 Sé que estoy aquí por poco tiempo. No permitas que pase por alto ninguna de tus enseñanzas.
I am a stranger in the earth; O hide not thy precepts from me!
20 Siempre deseo fervientemente saber tu voluntad.
My soul breaketh within me, On account of longing for thy judgments at all times.
21 Tú amonestas al arrogante, y quienes no siguen tus mandamientos son malditos.
Thou rebukest the proud, the accursed, Who wander from thy commandments.
22 No me dejes ser ridiculizado o recibir insultos, porque yo he guardado tus leyes.
Remove from me reproach and contempt, For I have kept thine ordinances!
23 Incluso los líderes se reúnen para calumniarme, pero yo, tu siervo, meditaré en tus enseñanzas con gran devoción.
Princes sit and speak against me, But thy servant meditateth on thy statutes.
24 Tus leyes me hacen feliz, pues son mis consejeras sabias.
Thine ordinances are my delight; Yea, they are my counsellors.
25 Muero aquí, tirado en el polvo. Mantenme con vida como me lo prometiste.
My soul cleaveth to the dust; O revive me, according to thy word!
26 Te expliqué mi situación y me respondiste. Enséñame a seguir tus instrucciones.
I have declared my ways, and thou hast heard me; Teach me thy statutes!
27 Ayúdame a entender el significado de tus leyes. Entonces meditaré en tus maravillas.
Make me to understand the way of thy precepts! So will I meditate upon thy wonders.
28 Lloro porque tengo gran tristeza. Te pido que me consueles como me lo has prometido.
My soul weepeth for trouble; O lift me up according to thy promise!
29 Ayúdame a dejar de engañarme a mi mismo y enséñame tu ley con bondad.
Remove from me the way of falsehood, And graciously grant me thy law!
30 He elegido creer en ti y siempre estoy atento a tus enseñanzas.
I have chosen the way of truth, And set thy statutes before me.
31 Guardo tus instrucciones, por eso te pido, Señor, que no me dejes quedar en ridículo.
I cleave to thine ordinances; O LORD! let me not be put to shame!
32 ¡Me apresuro a cumplir tus mandamientos, porque han abierto mi mente!
I will run in the way of thy commandments, When thou shalt enlarge my heart.
33 Enséñame el significado de tus leyes y las seguiré siempre.
Teach me, O LORD! the way of thy statutes, That I may keep it to the end!
34 Ayúdame a entender para hacer tu voluntad con toda devoción.
Give me understanding, that I may keep thy law; That I may observe it with my whole heart!
35 Guíame para que siga tus mandamientos, porque es lo que amo hacer.
Cause me to tread in the path of thy commandments, For in it I have my delight.
36 Ayúdame a concentrarme en tus enseñanzas más que en obtener ganancias.
Incline my heart to thine ordinances, And not to the love of gain!
37 No me dejes poner mi mente en cosas vanas. Ayúdame a vivir en tus caminos.
Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity, And quicken me in thy law!
38 Por favor, mantén la promesa que me has hecho como tu siervo, y que has hecho a los que te adoran.
Fulfill to thy servant thy promise, Which thou hast made to him who feareth thee!
39 Aleja la vergüenza que acarreo, porque tu ley es buena.
Turn away the reproach which I fear; For thy judgments are good.
40 Siempre deseo hacer tu voluntad. Por favor, déjame vivir porque tú eres justo.
Behold, I have longed for thy precepts; O quicken thou me in thy righteousness!
41 Señor, por favor ámame con tu amor incondicional. Dame la salvación que me has prometido.
Let thy mercies come to me, O LORD! And thy help according to thy promise!
42 Entonces podré responder a los que se burlan de mi, porque creo en tu palabra.
So shall I be able to answer him that reproacheth me; For I trust in thy promise.
43 No me impidas hablar tus palabras de verdad, porque he puesto toda mi confianza en tu justo juicio.
O take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth! For I trust in thy judgments.
44 Seguiré viviendo tus enseñanzas por siempre y para siempre.
So shall I keep thy law continually, For ever and ever.
45 Viviré en libertad, porque me he dedicado a obedecerte.
I shall walk in a wide path; For I seek thy precepts.
46 Instruiré a los reyes sobre tus leyes, y no seré avergonzado.
I will speak of thine ordinances before kings, And will not be ashamed.
47 Soy muy feliz de tener tus enseñanzas y las amo con todas mis fuerzas.
I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I love;
48 Elevo mis manos en oración, honrando tus mandamientos. Meditaré en tus enseñanzas con devoción.
I will lift up my hands to thy precepts, which I love; I will meditate on thy statutes.
49 Recuerda la promesa que me has hecho, a mi, tu siervo. Tu promesa es mi única esperanza.
Remember thy promise to thy servant, Because thou hast caused me to hope!
50 ¡En medio de mi miseria, solo me consuela tu promesa y me alienta a seguir!
This is my comfort in my affliction; For thy promise reviveth me.
51 Los arrogantes se burlan de mi, pero yo no abandonaré tus enseñanzas.
The proud have had me greatly in derision; Yet have I not swerved from thy law.
52 Medito en las instrucciones que nos diste hace mucho tiempo, Señor, y me proporcionan seguridad.
I remember thy judgments of old, O LORD! And I comfort myself.
53 Me enojo con los malvados porque ellos han rechazado tu ley.
Indignation burneth within me, On account of the wicked who forsake thy law.
54 Tus enseñanzas son música a mis oídos en todo lugar donde habito.
Thy statutes have been my song In the house of my pilgrimage.
55 Por la noche pienso en quien tú eres, Señor, y hago tu voluntad.
In the night, O LORD! I think of thy name, And keep thy law!
56 Porque vivo siguiendo tus principios.
This have I as my own, That I keep thy precepts.
57 Señor, ¡tú eres mío! He prometido hacer tu voluntad.
Thou art my portion, O LORD! I have resolved that I will keep thy precepts.
58 Mi ser entero anhela tu bendición. Por favor, sé bondadoso conmigo, como me lo has prometido.
I have sought thy favor with my whole heart; Be gracious unto me according to thy promise!
59 Al reflexionar sobre mi vida, vuelvo a decidir seguir tus enseñanzas.
I think on my ways, And turn my feet to thy statutes;
60 Me apresuro a cumplir tus mandamientos sin vacilar.
I make haste, and delay not, To keep thy commandments.
61 Aún cuando los malvados traten de ponerme de su parte, no olvidaré tus enseñanzas.
The snares of the wicked surround me; Yet do I not forget thy law.
62 De noche despierto para agradecerte porque tu ley es buena.
At midnight I rise to give thanks to thee On account of thy righteous judgments.
63 Me agradan los que te siguen, los que hacen tu voluntad.
I am the companion of all who fear thee, And who obey thy precepts.
64 Señor, tú amas a todos los habitantes de la tierra, pero a mi muéstrame tu voluntad.
The earth, O LORD! is full of thy goodness; O teach me thy statutes!
65 Tú has sido muy bueno conmigo, Señor, tal como me lo has prometido.
Thou dost bless thy servant, O LORD! According to thy promise!
66 Ahora enséñame a hacer juicio con justicia y a tener discernimiento porque creo en tus enseñanzas.
Teach me sound judgment and knowledge! For I have faith in thy commandments.
67 Antes estuve sufriendo, mientras vagaba lejos de ti, pero ahora hago tu voluntad.
Before I was afflicted, I went astray; But now I keep thy word.
68 Como eres bueno, todo lo que haces es bueno. Enséñame, Señor, tus caminos.
Thou art good and doest good; O teach me thy statutes!
69 Los arrogantes difaman mi reputación con mentiras, pero yo sigo tus mandamientos con todo mi corazón.
The proud forge lies against me, But I keep thy precepts with my whole heart.
70 Ellos son fríos y e insensibles, pero yo amo tu ley.
Their heart is senseless like fat; But I delight in thy law.
71 El sufrimiento por el que pasé fue bueno para mi, porque pude meditar en lo que has dicho.
It is good for me that I have been afflicted, That I might learn thy statutes.
72 Tus enseñanzas son más valiosas para mi que el oro y la plata en abundancia.
The law of thy mouth is better to me Than thousands of gold and silver.
73 Tú me creaste y me hiciste como soy. Ayúdame a entender mejor tus mandamientos.
Thy hands have made and fashioned me; Give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments!
74 Que los que te adoran se alegren al verme, porque he puesto mi confianza en tu palabra.
They who fear thee shall see me and rejoice, Because I trust in thy word.
75 Señor, yo sé que decides con rectitud. Tú me derribaste para ayudarme porque eres fiel.
I know, O LORD! that thy judgments are right, And that in faithfulness thou hast afflicted me.
76 Te pido que tu amor y fidelidad me consuelen como me lo has prometido.
O let thy loving-kindness be my comfort, According to thy promise to thy servant!
77 Ten compasión de mi para que pueda vivir, porque amo tus enseñanzas.
Let thy tender mercies come to me, that I may live! For thy law is my delight.
78 Derriba a los orgullosos que me han hecho daño con sus mentiras. Yo me dedicaré a meditar en tus enseñanzas.
May the proud be put to shame, who wrong me without cause! But I will meditate on thy precepts.
79 Permite que los que te siguen me busquen, aquellos que entienden tus leyes.
Let those who fear thee turn unto me, And they that know thine ordinances!
80 Que en mi inocencia pueda seguir tus normas sin ser avergonzado.
May my heart be perfect in thy statutes, That I may not be put to shame!
81 Me siento agotado de tanto esperar por tu salvación, pero mantengo mi esperanza en tu palabra.
My soul fainteth for thy salvation; In thy promise do I trust.
82 Mis ojos se esfuerzan por guardar tus promesas, y se preguntan cuándo vendrás a consolarme.
Mine eyes fail with looking for thy promise; When. say I, wilt thou comfort me?
83 Estoy arrugado como un odre arrugado por el humo. Pero no he olvidado cómo hacer tu voluntad.
Yea, I am become like a bottle in the smoke; Yet do I not forget thy statutes.
84 ¿Hasta cuándo tengo que esperar para que castigues a mis perseguidores?
How many are the days of thy servant? When wilt thou execute judgment upon my persecutors?
85 Estas personas arrogantes han cavado huecos para hacerme caer. No conocen tu ley.
The proud have digged pits for me; They who do not regard thy law.
86 Todos tus mandamientos son fieles. Ayúdame para mantenerme en pie ante estas personas que me persiguen con sus mentiras.
All thy commandments are faithful; They persecute me without cause; help thou me!
87 Casi me han matado, pero no he dejado de hacer tu voluntad.
They had almost consumed me from the earth; But I forsook not thy precepts.
88 Por tu amor incondicional, Señor, no me dejes morir, para poder seguir andando según las enseñanzas que me has dado.
Quicken me according to thy loving-kindness, That I may keep the law of thy mouth!
89 Señor, tu palabra permanece para siempre, y se mantiene firme en los cielos.
Thy word, O LORD! abideth for ever, Being established like the heavens;
90 Tu fidelidad se extiende por generaciones, y es tan permanente como la tierra que tú creaste.
Thy faithfulness endureth to all generations. Thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
91 Tus juicios siguen vigentes —aun hasta hoy—porque todo sirve a tu voluntad.
They continue to this day according to their ordinances; For they are all subject to thee.
92 Si no fuera porque amo tus enseñanzas, mi sufrimiento me habría matado.
Had not thy law been my delight, I should have perished in my affliction.
93 Nunca olvidaré tus instrucciones, porque a través de ellas me das vida.
I will never forget thy precepts; For by them thou revivest me.
94 Soy tuyo, Señor. ¡Sálvame! Sabes que con devoción sigo tus principios.
I am thine, help me! For I seek thy precepts.
95 Aunque los malvados están esperando para tomarme por sorpresa y matarme, mantendré mi pensamiento enfocado en tus enseñanzas.
The wicked lie in wait to destroy me; But I will have regard to thine ordinances.
96 Reconozco que la perfección humana tiene límites, pero tus leyes no tienen límites.
I have seen an end of all perfection; But thy law is exceeding broad.
97 ¡Cuánto amo tu ley! En ella medito de día y de noche.
O how I love thy law! It is my daily (meditation)
98 Tus mandamientos me han hecho más sabio que mis enemigos, porque siempre estoy pensando en tus instrucciones.
Thou hast made me wiser than my enemies by thy precepts; For they are ever before me.
99 De hecho, he adquirido mayor entendimiento que todos mis maestros, porque dedico mi tiempo a meditar en tus enseñanzas.
I have more understanding than all my teachers; For thine ordinances are my (meditation)
100 Hasta mi entendimiento supera al de los ancianos, porque sigo tus caminos.
I have more wisdom than the ancients, Because I keep thy precepts.
101 Evito hacer cualquier cosa que conduzca al mal, porque quiero seguir fiel a tu palabra.
I have restrained my feet from every evil way, That I might keep thy word.
102 Nunca he rechazado tus enseñanzas porque tu mismo me has enseñado lo que debo hacer.
I depart not from thy statutes, For thou teachest me!
103 Tus palabras son dulces para mi. Más dulces que la miel en mi boca.
How sweet are thy words to my taste; Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 Mi entendimiento aumenta al escuchar tu palabra. Por ello aborrezco los caminos del engaño.
From thy precepts I learn wisdom; Therefore do I hate every false way.
105 Tu palabra es una lámpara que me muestra por dónde caminar. Y es una luz en mi camino.
Thy word is a lamp to my feet, And a light to my path.
106 ¡He hecho una promesa, y la mantendré! ¡Seguiré tus principios porque son rectos!
I have sworn, and I will perform it, That I will keep thy righteous statutes.
107 ¡Señor, mira cuánto estoy sufriendo! Por favor, déjame vivir, tal como me lo has prometido.
I am exceedingly afflicted; Revive me, O LORD! according to thy word!
108 Por favor, Señor, acepta mi ofrenda de adoración que te traigo de todo corazón. Enséñame tus principios.
Accept, O LORD! the free-will offering of my mouth, And teach me thy statutes!
109 Mi vida siempre está en peligro, pero nunca me olvidaré de tu ley.
My life is continually in my hand; Yet do I not forget thy law.
110 Los malvados me han tendido trampas, pero no me alejaré de tus mandamientos.
The wicked lay snares for me, Yet do I not go astray from thy precepts.
111 Siempre me aferraré a tus enseñanzas porque tu palabra me llena de felicidad.
I have made thine ordinances my possession for ever; For they are the joy of my heart.
112 He decidido seguir tus enseñanzas hasta el final.
I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes, Always, —even to the end.
113 Aborrezco a los hipócritas pero amo tu ley.
I hate impious men, And thy law I do love.
114 Tú me mantienes a salvo y me defiendes. Tu palabra alimenta mi esperanza.
Thou art my hiding-place and my shield; In thy word I put my trust!
115 Déjenme en paz, hombres malvados. Déjenme seguir los mandamientos de mi Dios.
Depart from me, ye evil-doers! For I will keep the commandments of my God.
116 Sé mi sostén, Señor, como me lo has prometido, para poder seguir viviendo. No dejes que mi esperanza se convierta en desánimo.
Uphold me according to thy promise, that I may live; And let me not be ashamed of my hope!
117 Sé mi consuelo, para ser salvo y seguir atendiendo tus enseñanzas.
Do thou hold me up, and I shall be safe, And I will have respect to thy statutes continually!
118 Tú aborreces a los que no te obedecen. Ellos se engañan a sí mismos con una vida de mentiras.
Thou castest off all who depart from thy laws; For their deceit is vain.
119 Tú tratas a los perversos en la tierra como seres despreciables que han de ser desechados. Por eso amo tu ley.
Thou throwest away all the wicked of the earth, like dross; Therefore I love thine ordinances.
120 ¡Me estremezco al pensar en ti, y te temo por tus juicios!
My flesh trembleth through fear of thee, And I am afraid of thy judgments.
121 He hecho lo justo y lo recto. Por ello, no me abandones en manos de mis enemigos.
I have done justice and equity; O leave me not to mine oppressors.
122 Por favor, prométeme que cuidarás de mi tu siervo. No dejes que los arrogantes me maltraten.
Be surety for thy servant for good; Let not the proud oppress me!
123 Mis ojos están cansados de esperar tu salvación, tratando de ver cumplida tu promesa de hacer buenas todas las cosas.
Mine eyes fail with looking for thy help, And for thy righteous promise.
124 A mi, que soy tu siervo, trátame según tu amor y fidelidad. Enséñame tu voluntad.
Deal with thy servant according to thy mercy, And teach me thy statutes!
125 Soy tu siervo. Por favor, dame discernimiento para entender tus enseñanzas.
I am thy servant; give me understanding, That I may know thine ordinances!
126 Señor, ya es hora de que actúes respecto a estas personas que han quebrantado tus leyes.
It is time for thee, O LORD! to act; For men have made void thy law.
127 Por ello amo tus mandamientos más que el oro. Más que el oro puro.
Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; Yea, above fine gold.
128 Cada uno de tus principios es justo. Por ello aborrezco los caminos del engaño.
Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; I hate every false way.
129 ¡Tus leyes son maravillosas y por ello las obedezco!
Wonderful are thine ordinances; Therefore do I observe them.
130 El estudiar tu palabra proporciona tanta luz, que aún los iletrados pueden etenderla.
The communication of thy precepts giveth light; It giveth understanding to the simple.
131 Anhelo con fervor escuchar tu voluntad.
I open my mouth and pant: For I long for thy commandments.
132 Por favor, escúchame y sé bondadoso conmigo, como lo eres con todos los que te aman.
Look thou upon me, and be gracious to me, As is just to those who love thy name!
133 Muéstrame a través de tu palabra el camino que debo tomar, y no dejes que ningún mal se apodere de mi.
Establish my footsteps in thy word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me!
134 Sálvame de la gente cruel, para poder seguir tus enseñanzas.
Redeem me from the oppression of men, So will I keep thy precepts!
135 Por favor, mírame con amor, a mi, tu siervo; y enséñame lo que debo hacer.
Let thy face shine on thy servant, And teach me thy statutes!
136 Mis lágrimas corren por mi rostro mientras lloro por los que no guardan tu ley.
Rivers of water run down mine eyes, Because men keep not thy law.
137 ¡Señor, tú eres recto y tus decisiones son justas!
Righteous art thou, O LORD! And just are thy judgments!
138 Tú me has dado tus mandatos que son justos y absolutamente confiables.
Just are the ordinances which thou hast ordained, And altogether righteous.
139 Mi devoción me consume porque mis enemigos ignoran tu palabra.
My zeal consumeth me, Because my enemies forget thy word.
140 Tus promesas se han cumplido, y por ello, yo, tu siervo, las amo.
Thy word is very pure, Therefore thy servant loveth it.
141 Quizás soy insignificante y despreciado, pero nunca me olvido de tus mandamientos.
Of mean condition am I, and despised; Yet do I not forget thy precepts.
142 Tu bondad y tu justicia duran para siempre. Tu ley es la verdad.
Thy righteousness is everlasting righteousness, And thy law is truth.
143 Cuando estoy triste y en problemas, tus mandamientos me llenan de felicidad.
Trouble and anguish have taken hold of me, But thy laws are my delight.
144 Tus leyes siempre son justas. Ayúdame a entenderlas para poder vivir.
The justice of thine ordinances is everlasting; Give me understanding, and I shall live!
145 ¡Mi ser entero clama a ti, Señor! ¡Por favor, respóndeme! Yo seguiré tus mandatos.
I cry to thee with my whole heart; Hear me, O LORD! that I may keep thy statutes.
146 A ti oro, y pido salvación para poder hacer tu voluntad.
I cry unto thee; save me, And I will observe thine ordinances.
147 Temprano me levanto y clamo a ti por ayuda. En tu palabra pongo mi esperanza.
I come before the dawn with my prayer; I trust in thy promise!
148 En la noche hago vigilia y medito en tu palabra.
My eyes anticipate the night-watches, That I may meditate upon thy promise.
149 Escúchame, Señor, con amor incondicional. Guarda mi vida, Señor, porque siempre haces lo recto.
Hear my voice according to thy loving-kindness; O LORD! revive me according to thy mercy!
150 Los malvados se apresuran a atacarme. Ellos rechazan por tu palabra por completo.
Near are they whose aim is mischief; They are far from thy law;
151 Pero tú, Señor, estás aquí a mi lado. Todos tus mandamientos son verdaderos.
Yet thou art near, O LORD! And all thy commandments are truth!
152 Desde hace mucho entendí que tus leyes permanecerán para siempre.
Long have I known concerning thine ordinances, That thou hast founded them for ever.
153 ¡Por favor mira mi sufrimiento y sálvame! Mira que no me he olvidado de tus enseñanzas.
Look upon my affliction, and deliver me! For I do not forget thy law.
154 Defiende mi causa y sálvame conforme a tu promesa. ¡Guarda mi vida, Señor!
Maintain my cause, and redeem me; Revive me according to thy promise!
155 Los malvados no pueden ser salvos, porque menosprecian tus enseñanzas.
Salvation is far from the wicked, Because they seek not thy statutes.
156 ¡Pero Señor, tu misericordia es grande! ¡Te pido que por tu justicia me dejes vivir!
Great is thy compassion, O LORD! Revive thou me according to thine equity!
157 A pesar de que muchos me maltratan y me persiguen, no me he apartado de tu ley.
Many are my persecutors and my enemies, Yet do I not depart from thine ordinances.
158 Me indigna ver a los infieles porque aborrecen tu palabra.
I behold the transgressors, and am grieved Because they regard not thy word.
159 Señor, mira cuánto amo tus mandamientos. Por favor, déjame vivir, conforme a tu amor incondicional.
Behold, how I love thy precepts! O LORD! revive me according to thy loving-kindness!
160 ¡Tu palabra es verdad! Y todas tus leyes permanecerán para siempre.
The whole of thy word is truth, And all thy righteous judgments endure for ever.
161 Los líderes me persiguen sin razón alguna, pero yo solo respeto a tu palabra.
Princes have persecuted me without cause; But my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
162 Tu palabra me hace tan feliz como aquél que encuentra un inmenso tesoro.
I rejoice in thy word, As one that hath found great spoil.
163 Aborrezco y rechazo la mentira, pero amo tus enseñanzas.
I hate and abhor lying, And thy law do I love.
164 Te alabo siete veces al día porque tus leyes son buenas.
Seven times a day do I praise thee On account of thy righteous judgments.
165 Los que aman tus enseñanzas viven en paz y nada los hace caer.
Great peace have they who love thy law, And no evil shall befall them.
166 Señor, espero con ansias tu salvación y guardo tus mandamientos.
O LORD! I wait for thy salvation, And keep thy commandments!
167 Obedezco tus leyes y las amo con todo mi corazón.
My soul observeth thine ordinances, And loveth them exceedingly.
168 Guardo tus mandamientos y tus leyes porque tú ves todo lo que hago.
I keep thy precepts and thine ordinances; For all my ways are before thee.
169 Señor, escucha mi triste lamento. Ayúdame a entender conforme me lo has prometido.
Let my prayer come near before thee, O LORD! According to thy promise, give me understanding!
170 Por favor, escúchame y sálvame confirme a tu promesa.
Let my supplication come before thee; O deliver me according to thy promise!
171 Déjame elevar alabanzas a ti, porque tú me enseñas lo que debo hacer.
My lips shall pour forth praise; For thou teachest me thy statutes.
172 Cantaré de tu palabra, porque todos tus mandamientos son rectos.
My tongue shall sing of thy word; For all thy commandments are right.
173 Por favor, sé pronto para ayudarme porque he elegido seguir tus caminos.
Let thy hand be my help; For I have chosen thy precepts!
174 Anhelo tu salvación, Señor; y tus enseñanzas me proporcionan felicidad.
I long for thy salvation, O LORD! And thy law is my delight!
175 Ojalá pueda vivir alabándote y que tus enseñanzas sean mi ayuda.
Let me live, and I will praise thee; Let thy judgments help me!
176 He vagado como una oveja perdida; por eso te pido que vengas a buscarme, porque no me he olvidado de tus mandamientos.
I wander like a lost sheep; seek thy servant, For I do not forget thy commandments!
