Salmos 115
1 No para nosotros, Señor, no para nosotros, sino para ti Señor, toda la gloria debe ser dada, por tu gran amor y verdad.
Not to us, LORD, not to us, but to your name be the glory, for your loving kindness and for your faithfulness.
2 Por qué deberían las naciones paganas preguntar, “¿Dónde está tu Dios?”
Why should the nations say, "Where is their God, now?"
3 Nuestro Dios está en el cielo, y Él hace lo que quiere.
But our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases.
4 Sus ídolos son solo objetos hechos de plata y de oro por manos humanas.
Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
5 Tienen bocas, pero no pueden hablar. Tienen ojos, pero no pueden ver.
They have mouths, but they do not speak. They have eyes, but they do not see.
6 Tienen oídos, pero no pueden oír. Tienen narices, pero no pueden oler.
They have ears, but they do not hear. They have noses, but they do not smell.
7 Tienen manos, pero no pueden sentir. Tienen pies, pero no pueden caminar. Ni un solo sonido viene de sus gargantas.
They have hands, but they do not feel. They have feet, but they do not walk, neither do they speak through their throat.
8 Todos los que hacen ídolos se vuelven como ellos, y también pasa esto con los confían en ellos.
Those who make them will be like them; yes, everyone who trusts in them.
9 Israel, ¡Confía en el Señor! Él es el único que te ayuda y te protege.
Israel, trust in the LORD. He is their help and their shield.
10 Descendientes de Aarón, ¡confíen en el Señor! Él es el único que los protege y los ayuda.
House of Aaron, trust in the LORD. He is their help and their shield.
11 Aquellos que honran al Señor, ¡Confíen en el Señor! Él es el único que los protege y los salva.
You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD. He is their help and their shield.
12 El Señor nos recordará y será bueno con nosotros. Él bendecirá a Israel, bendecirá a los descendientes de Aarón.
The LORD remembers us. He will bless us. He will bless the house of Israel. He will bless the house of Aaron.
13 El Señor bendecirá a todos los que lo adoran, quienesquiera que sean.
He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great.
14 Que el Señor sea bueno contigo, contigo y con tus hijos.
May the LORD increase you more and more, you and your children.
15 Que seas bendecido por el Señor que hizo los cielos y la tierra.
Blessed are you by the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
16 Los cielos pertenecen al Señor, pero él le ha dado la tierra a la humanidad.
The heavens are the heavens of the LORD; but the earth has he given to the descendants of Adam.
17 La muerte no alaba al Señor, ni ninguno de aquellos que han descendido al silencio de la tumba
The dead do not praise the LORD, neither any who go down into silence;
18 Pero nosotros, los que estamos vivos alabaremos al Señor desde ahora y para siempre. ¡Alaben al Señor!
But we will bless the LORD, from this time forth and forevermore. Praise the LORD.
