Filemón 1
1 Esta carta es enviada por Pablo, prisionero de Jesucristo, y de nuestro hermano Timoteo, a Filemón, nuestro buen amigo y compañero de trabajo;
Paul a prisoner of Christ Jesus and Timothy [our] brother To Philemon the beloved and fellow worker of us
2 a nuestra hermana Apia, a Arquipo, quien lucha junto con nosotros, y a nuestra iglesia que está en tu casa.
and to Apphia (our sister *N(K)O*) and to Archippus the fellow soldier of us and to the at [the] house of you church:
3 Recibe gracia y paz de parte de Dios nuestro Padre y del Señor Jesucristo.
Grace to you and peace from God Father of us and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.
4 Siempre le doy gracias a Dios por ti, al recordarte en mis oraciones,
I thank the God of mine always mention of you making upon the prayers of mine,
5 pues escucho sobre tu fe en el Señor Jesús y tu amor por todos los creyentes.
hearing of your love and the faith that you have (toward *NK(o)*) the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints,
6 Oro para que esa generosidad que caracteriza tu fe en Dios puedas ponerla en acción al reconocer las cosas buenas de las que participamos en Cristo.
so that the fellowship of the faith of you effective may become in [the] acknowledgment of every good [thing] that [is] in (us *N(K)O*) in Christ (Jesus. *K*)
7 Tu amor, mi querido hermano, me ha causado mucha felicidad y ánimo. ¡Has reanimado los corazones de nosotros, los que somos creyentes!
(Joy *NK(O)*) for great (I have *N(K)O*) and encouragement by occasion of the love of you, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.
8 Por eso, aunque soy suficientemente valiente en Cristo para darte orden de hacer tu trabajo,
Therefore much in Christ boldness having to order you what [is] befitting
9 prefiero pedirte este favor en nombre del amor. El viejo Pablo, ahora también prisionero de Cristo Jesús,
for the sake of love rather I exhort [you], such a one being as Paul aged now then also a prisoner of Christ Jesus;
10 te ruega en nombre de Onésimo, que ha venido a ser como mi hijo adoptivo durante mi encarcelamiento.
I exhort you for my child whom I have begotten in the chains (of mine *K*) Onesimus,
11 En el pasado él no fue útil para ti, ¡pero ahora es útil tanto para ti como para mí!
once to you useless now however (both *n*) to you and to me myself useful,
12 Lo envío, pues, con mis más sinceros deseos.
whom I have sent back (to you *N(K)O*) (now *k*) in person — who is my very heart — (do yourself receive. *K*)
13 Habría preferido que se quedara aquí conmigo para que me fuera de ayuda como me habrías ayudado tú mientras estoy encadenado por predicar la buena noticia.
whom I myself was wishing with myself to keep, so that on behalf of you me he may serve in the chains of the gospel;
14 Pero decidí no hacer nada sin tu permiso. No quería obligarte a hacer el bien, sino que lo hicieras de buen agrado.
Apart from however your consent no [thing] I wished to do, so that not as according to necessity the good of you may be but according to willingness.
Perhaps for because of this he was separated [from you] for a time, so that eternally him you may possess; (aiōnios g166)
16 Ya no es más un siervo, porque es más que un siervo. Es un hermano especialmente amado, principalmente para mí, e incluso más para ustedes, tanto como persona y también como hermano creyente en el Señor.
no longer no longer as a slave but above a slave, a brother beloved, especially to me myself, how much however more to you both in [the] flesh and in [the] Lord?
17 Así que si me consideras un compañero de trabajo en el Señor, recíbelo como si me recibieras a mí.
If therefore me you consider a partner, do yourself receive him as me myself.
18 Y si ha cometido algún error, o te debe algo, cárgalo a mi cuenta.
If however in any way he has wronged you or he owes [you], this to me myself do charge.
19 Yo, Pablo, escribo esto con mi propia mano: Te pagaré. Sin duda no diré lo que me debes, ¡incluyendo tu propia vida!
I myself Paul did write with my own hand, I myself will repay [it]; that not I may say to you that even yourself to me you owe also.
20 Sí, hermano, espero este favor de tu parte en el Señor; por favor, dame esa alegría en Cristo.
Yes, brother, I myself from you I would have profit in [the] Lord; do refresh my heart in (Christ. *N(K)O*)
21 Te escribo sobre esto porque estoy convencido de que harás lo que te estoy pidiendo. ¡E incluso sé que harás más que eso!
Having been persuaded of the obedience of you I write to you knowing that even above (what [things] *N(k)O*) I say you will do.
22 Mientras tanto, por favor, prepara una habitación para mí, pues espero poder regresar a verte pronto, como respuesta a tus oraciones.
At the same time now also do prepare for me a lodging; I hope for that through the prayers of you I will be granted to you.
23 Epafras, que está aquí conmigo en prisión, te envía su saludo,
(He greets *N(K)O*) you Epaphras fellow prisoner of mine in Christ Jesus,
24 así como mis colaboradores Marcos, Aristarco, Demas, y Lucas.
[as do] Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, [and] Luke, the fellow workers of mine.
25 Que la gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo esté con todos ustedes.
