1 Este es el relato sobre Aarón y Moisés cuando el Señor le habló a Moisés en el Monte Sinaí.
These ben the generaciouns of Aaron and of Moises, in the dai in which the Lord spak to Moises, in the hil of Synay.
2 Los nombres de los hijos de Aarón eran: Nadab (primogénito), Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.
And these ben the names of `the sones of Aaron; his first gendrid, Nadab; aftirward, Abyu, and Eleazar, and Ythamar; these ben the names of `Aarons sones,
3 Estos eran los nombres de los hijos de Aarón que fueron ungidos y ordenados para servir como sacerdotes.
preestis, that weren anoyntid, and whos hondis weren fillid and halewid, that thei schulden `be set in preesthod.
4 Nadab y Abiú murieron en la presencia del Señor cuando ofrecieron el fuego prohibido ante el Señor en el desierto del Sinaí. Como no tenían hijos, Eleazar e Itamar sirvieron como sacerdotes mientras su padre Aarón vivía.
Nadab and Abyu, whanne thei offeriden alien fier in the `siyt of the Lord, in the deseert of Synay, weren deed without fre children; and Eleazar and Ythamar `weren set in preesthod bifor Aaron hir fadir.
5 El Señor le dijo a Moisés,
And the Lord spak to Moises,
6 “Reúne a la tribu de Leví y preséntalos ante el sacerdote Aarón para que le ayuden en el ministerio.
`and seide, `Presente thou the lynage of Leuy, and make to stonde in the siyt of Aaron, preest, that thei mynystre to hym;
7 Deben cumplir con sus deberes en su nombre y en nombre de todos los israelitas en el Tabernáculo de Reunión, cuidando el servicio del Tabernáculo.
and wake, and that thei kepe what euer thing perteyneth to the religioun of multitude, bifor the tabernacle of witnessyng;
8 Serán responsables de cuidar todo el mobiliario del Tabernáculo de Reunión, sirviendo a los israelitas a través de su trabajo en el Tabernáculo.
and that thei kepe the vessels of the tabernacle, and serue in the seruyce therof.
9 Los levitas deben trabajar exclusivamente para Aarón y sus hijos de porque esta es su asignación entre los israelitas.
And thou schalt yyue bi fre yifte the Leuytis to Aaron and hise sones, to whiche thei ben youun of the sones of Israel.
10 Tú designarás a Aarón y a sus hijos para que tengan la responsabilidad del sacerdocio. Cualquier otro que intente actuar como sacerdote debe ser ejecutado”.
Sotheli thou schalt ordeyne Aaron and hise sones on the religioun of preesthod; a straungere, that neiyeth for to mynystre, and schal die.
11 El Señor le dijo a Moisés:
And the Lord spak to Moyses, `and seide,
12 “He tomado a los levitas de entre los israelitas en lugar de cada uno de sus primogénitos. Los levitas me pertenecen
Y haue take the Leuytis of the sones of Israel for ech firste gendrid thing that openeth the womb in the sones of Israel; and the Leuytis schulen be myne,
13 porque todos los primogénitos son míos. Cuando maté a cada primogénito en Egipto, separé como sagrado para mí a todos los primogénitos de Israel, humanos y animales. Son míos. Yo soy el Señor”.
for ech firste gendrid thing is myn; sithen Y smoot the firste gendrid in the lond of Egipt, Y halewide to me what euer thing is borun first in Israel; fro man `til to beest thei ben myne; Y am the Lord.
14 El Señor le habló a Moisés en el desierto del Sinaí, y le dijo:
And the Lord spak to Moises in the deseert
15 “Censa a los levitas según la genealogía de su padre y su familia. Cuenten cada varón de un mes o mayor”.
of Synay, and seide, Noumbre thou the sones of Leuy bi `the housis of her fadris, and bi meynees, ech male fro o monethe and aboue.
16 Entonces Moisés los registró, siguiendo las instrucciones del Señor, tal como se lo había dicho.
Moises noumbride, as the Lord comaundide.
17 Estos eran los nombres de los hijos de Levi: Gersón, Coat y Merari.
And the sones of Leuy weren foundun, bi her names, Gerson, and Caath, and Merary;
18 Estos eran los nombres de los hijos de Gersón por familia: Libni y Simeí.
the sones of Gerson weren Lebny, and Semey;
19 Los hijos de Coat por familia eran Amram, Izar, Hebrón y Uziel.
the sones of Caath weren Amram, and Jessaar, Hebron, and Oziel;
20 Los hijos de Merari, por familia, eran Majlí y Musí. Estas eran las familias de los levitas, según el linaje de su padre.
and the sones of Merari weren Mooly, and Musi.
21 La familia de Libni y la familia de Simeí procedían de Gersón. Estas eran las familias de Gersón.
Of Gerson weren twei meynees, of Lebny, and of Semei;
22 El total de todos los varones de un mes o más era de 7.500.
of whiche the puple of male kynde was noumbrid, fro o monethe and aboue, seuene thousynde and fyue hundrid.
23 El campamento de las familias de Gerson estaba al oeste, detrás del Tabernáculo.
These schulen sette tentis aftir the tabernacle at the west,
24 El líder de las familias de Gerson era Eliasaf, hijo de Lael.
vndur the prince Eliasaph, the sone of Jahel.
25 Su responsabilidad asignada para el Tabernáculo de Reunión era cuidar del Tabernáculo y la tienda, su cubierta, la cortina de la entrada del Tabernáculo de Reunión,
And thei schulen haue kepyngis in the tabernacle of boond of pees, the tabernacle it silf, and the hilyng therof, the tente which is drawun bifor the yatis of the hilyng of the witnessyng of boond of pees;
26 las cortinas del patio, la cortina de la entrada del patio que rodea el Tabernáculo y el altar, las cuerdas y todo lo relacionado con su uso.
and the curteyns of the greet street, also the tente which is hangid in the entryng of the greet street of the tabernacle, and what euer thing perteyneth to the custom of the auter, the cordis of the tabernacle, and al the purtenaunce therof.
27 Las familias de Amram, Izar, Hebrón y Uziel procedían de Coat. Estas eran las familias de Coat.
The kynrede of Caath schal haue the puplis of Amram, and of Jessaar, and of Ebron, and of Oziel;
28 El total de todos los varones de un mes o más era de 8.600. Su responsabilidad asignada era cuidar del santuario.
these ben the meynees of Caathitis, noumbrid bi her names, alle of male kynde, fro o monethe and aboue, eiyte thousynde and sixe hundrid.
29 El campamento de las familias de Coat estaba en el lado sur del Tabernáculo.
Thei schulen haue kepyngis of the seyntuarie, and schulen sette tentis at the south coost;
30 El líder de las familias de Coat era Elisafán, hijo de Uziel.
and `the prince of hem schal be Elisaphan, the sone of Oziel.
31 Su responsabilidad asignada era cuidar el Arca, la mesa, el candelabro, los altares, los artículos del santuario usados con ellos, el velo, y todo lo relacionado con estos artículos.
And thei schulen kepe the arke, and the boord, and the candilstike, the auters, and vesselis of the seyntuarie in whiche it is mynystrid, and the veil, and al sich purtenaunce.
32 El jefe de los líderes de los levitas era Eleazar, hijo del sacerdote Aarón. Él estaba a cargo de los responsables de servir en el santuario.
Sotheli the prince of princis of Leuytis schal be Eleazar, the sone of Aaron, preest; and he schal be on the keperis of the kepyng of the seyntuarie.
33 La familia de Majlí y la familia de Musíprocedían de Merari. Estas eran las familias de Merari.
And sotheli of Merary schulen be the puplis of Mooli, and of Musi,
34 El total de todos los varones de un mes o más era de 6.200.
noumbrid bi her names, alle of male kynde fro o monethe and aboue, sixe thousynde and two hundrid;
35 El líder de las familias de Merari era Zuriel, hijo de Abijaíl. Su campamento estaba en el lado norte del Tabernáculo.
`the prince of hem schal be Suriel, the sone of Abiahiel; thei schulen sette tentis in the north coost.
36 Su responsabilidad asignada era cuidar de los marcos del Tabernáculo, barras transversales, postes, soportes, todo su equipo y todo lo relacionado con su uso,
And vndur `the kepyng of hem schulen be the tablis of the tabernacle, and the barris, and the pileris, and `the foundementis of tho, and alle thingis that perteynen to sich ournyng,
37 así como los postes del patio circundante con sus soportes, estacas y cuerdas.
and the pileris of the greet street bi cumpas, with her foundementis, and the stakis with coordis.
38 El campamento de los hijos de Moisés, Aarón y Aarón estaba al Este del santuario, con vista al amanecer, frente al Tabernáculo de Reunión. Eran responsables del santuario en nombre de los israelitas. Cualquier otro que intentara actuar como sacerdote debía ser ejecutado.
Forsothe Moises and Aaron with hise sones schulen sette tentis bifor the tabernacle of boond of pees, that is, at the eest coost, and schulen haue the keping of the seyntuarie, in the myddis of the sones of Israel; what euer alien neiyeth, he schal die.
39 La suma total de levitas registrados por Moisés y Aarón como el Señor ordenó fue de 22.000. Esto incluía a todos los varones de un mes o mayores.
Alle the Leuytis, whiche Moises and Aaron noumbriden, bi comaundement of the Lord, bi her meynees, in male kynde, fro o monethe and aboue, were two and twenti thousynd.
40 El Señor le dijo a Moisés: “Haz un censo de todos los primogénitos varones israelitas de un mes o más, y registra sus nombres.
And the Lord seide to Moises, Noumbre thou the firste gendrid children of male kynde of the sones of Israel, fro o monethe and aboue; and thou schalt haue the summe of hem; and
41 Aparta a los levitas para mí. Yo soy el Señor. Ellos están en lugar de todos los primogénitos de los israelitas. El ganado de los levitas está en lugar de todo el ganado primogénito de los israelitas”.
thou schalt take Leuytis to me for alle the firste gendrid of the sones of Israel; Y am the Lord; and thou schalt take `the beestis of hem for alle the firste gendrid of the sones of Israel.
42 Moisés realizó un censo de todos los primogénitos de los israelitas, tal como el Señor le había instruido.
And as the Lord comaundide, Moises noumbride the firste gendrid children of the sones of Israel; and the males weren bi her names,
43 La suma total de los primogénitos varones de un mes o más, registrados por nombre, fue de 22.273.

44 El Señor habló con Moisés y le dijo:
And the Lord spak to Moises, and seide,
45 “Debes tomar a los levitas en lugar de todos los primogénitos de Israel, y el ganado de los levitas en lugar de su ganado, porque los levitas me pertenecen. Yo soy el Señor.
Take thou Leuytis for the firste gendrid children of the sones of Israel, and the beestis of Leuytis for the beestis of hem, and the Leuytis schulen be myne; Y am the Lord.
46 Para poder comprar los 273 primogénitos de Israel que son más que el número de levitas,
Forsothe in the prijs of two hundrid seuenti and thre, that passen the noumbre of `Leuytis, of the firste gendrid children of the sones of Israel,
47 se recaudan cinco siclos para cada uno de ellos, (usando la norma del siclo del santuario de veinte geras).
thou schalt take fyue ciclis bi ech heed, at the mesure of seyntuarie; a sicle hath xx. halpens;
48 Entregarás el dinero a Aarón y a sus hijos como precio de redención para cubrir el exceso de los israelitas que sobran”.
and thou schalt yyue the money to Aaron and to hise sones, the prijs of hem that ben aboue.
49 Moisés recaudó el dinero de redención para aquellos israelitas que excedían el número redimido por los levitas.
Therfor Moises took the money of hem that weren aboue, and whiche thei hadden ayenbouyt of the Leuytis, for the firste gendrid of the sones of Israel,
50 Recolectó el dinero dado en nombre de los primogénitos de los israelitas. Llegó a recolectar 1.365 siclos, (usando el estándar del siclo del santuario).
a thousand thre hundrid sixti and fyue of siclis, bi the weiyte of seyntuarie;
51 Moisés dio este dinero de redención a Aarón y sus hijos como el Señor se lo había dicho, siguiendo las instrucciones del Señor.
and he yaf that money to Aaron and to hise sones, bi the word which the Lord comaundide to hym.
