Josué 6
1 Las puertas de Jericó se cerraron y se prohibieron por culpa de los israelitas. No se le permitía a nadie entrar o salir.
And Jericho [was] shutting and shut up because of [the] people of Israel there not [was one] going out and there not [was one] coming.
2 Pero el Señor le dijo a Josué: “Te entrego la ciudad de Jericó, junto con su rey y su ejército de guerreros.
And he said Yahweh to Joshua see I have given in hand your Jericho and king its [the] mighty [men] of strength.
3 Marcha alrededor de la ciudad con tus hombres armados una vez al día durante seis días.
And you will go around the city all [the] men of war you will encircle the city a time one thus you will do six days.
4 Siete sacerdotes irán delante del Arca, cada uno con un cuerno de carnero. El séptimo día, marchen siete veces alrededor de la ciudad, con los sacerdotes soplando sus cuernos de carnero.
And seven priests they will carry seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark and on the day seventh you will go round the city seven times and the priests they will give a blast on the trumpets.
5 Cuando escuchen un largo golpe en los cuernos de los carneros, todos darán un grito muy fuerte. Las murallas de la ciudad se derrumbarán, y todo el mundo podrá entrar”.
And it will be when blow - on [the] horn of ram's horn (just as hear you *Q(K)*) [the] sound of the trumpet they will shout all the people a shout loud and it will fall [the] wall of the city in place its and they will go up the people everyone before himself.
6 Así que Josué, hijo de Nun, mandó a llamar a los sacerdotes, y les dijo: “Levanten el Arca del Pacto, y que siete sacerdotes lleven siete cuernos de carnero y vayan delante del Arca del Señor”.
And he called Joshua [the] son of Nun to the priests and he said to them lift up [the] ark of the covenant and seven priests they will carry seven trumpets of rams' horns before [the] ark of Yahweh.
7 Luego le dijo al pueblo: “¡Muévanse! ¡Marchen alrededor de la ciudad con los hombres armados delante del Arca del Señor!”
(And he said *Q(K)*) to the people pass on and go round the city and the armed [man] he will pass on before [the] ark of Yahweh.
8 Cuando Josué terminó de hablarle al pueblo, los siete sacerdotes que llevaban los siete cuernos de carnero en presencia del Señor, comenzaron a soplar los cuernos, con el Arca tras ellos.
And it was when had said Joshua to the people and seven the priests [who] were carrying seven [the] trumpets of rams' horns before Yahweh they passed on and they gave a blast on the trumpets and [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh [was] going after them.
9 Algunos de los hombres armados marchaban delante de los sacerdotes haciendo sonar los cuernos, mientras que otros seguían el Arca, haciendo sonar los cuernos continuamente.
And the armed [man] [was] walking before the priests ([who] give a blast on *Q(K)*) the trumpets and the rearguard [was] walking behind the ark walking and giving blasts on the trumpets.
10 Sin embargo, Josué les ordenó: “No griten, ni hablen. No digan nada hasta que yo les de la orden de gritar, ¡solo entonces griten!”
And the people he commanded Joshua saying not you must shout and not you must make heard voice your and not it will go out from mouth your a word until [the] day say I to you shout and you will shout.
11 Así que el Arca del Señor fue llevada por todo alrededor de la ciudad, y dieron una vuelta. Luego regresaron al campamento y pasaron la noche allí.
And he caused to go around [the] ark of Yahweh the city it encircled [it] a time one and they went the camp and they stayed in the camp.
12 Josué se levantó temprano en la mañana, y los sacerdotes recogieron el Arca del Señor.
And he rose early Joshua in the morning and they lifted the priests [the] ark of Yahweh.
13 Los siete sacerdotes con los siete cuernos de carnero iban delante del Arca del Señor, haciendo sonar los cuernos. Los hombres armados iban adelante ellos y detrás del Arca del Señor, haciendo sonar continuamente los cuernos.
And seven the priests [who] were carrying seven [the] trumpets of rams' horns before [the] ark of Yahweh [were] walking continuously and they gave blasts on the trumpets and the armed [man] [was] walking before them and the rearguard [was] walking behind [the] ark of Yahweh (walking *Q(K)*) and giving blasts on the trumpets.
14 Así que el segundo día marcharon alrededor de la ciudad, dándole una vuelta, y volvieron al campamento. E hicieron esto por un total de seis días.
And they went around the city on the day second a time one and they returned the camp thus they did six days.
15 El séptimo día, se levantaron al amanecer y marcharon alrededor de la ciudad de la manera habitual, salvo que este día le dieron siete vueltas a la ciudad.
And it was - on the day seventh and they rose early when came up the dawn and they went around the city according to the custom this seven times only on the day that they went round the city seven times.
16 La séptima vez, cuando los sacerdotes soplaron los cuernos, Josué le dijo al pueblo: “¡Griten, porque hoy el Señor nos ha dado la ciudad!
And it was at the time seventh they gave a blast the priests on the trumpets and he said Joshua to the people shout for he has given Yahweh to you the city.
17 La ciudad y todo lo que hay en ella será apartado para el Señor y destruido. Sólo Rahab, la prostituta, y todos los que estén con ella en su casa se salvarán, porque ella escondió a los espías que enviamos.
And it will be the city a devoted thing it and all that [is] in it to Yahweh only Rahab the prostitute she will live she and every [one] who [is] with her in the house for she hid the messengers whom we sent.
18 Pero no se acerquen a ninguna de las cosas que se han apartado para el Señor, porque si se llevan algo, ustedes también serán destruidos, y además provocarán un desastre en el campamento de Israel.
And only you keep from the devoted thing[s] lest you should totally destroy and you will take any of the devoted thing[s] and you will make [the] camp of Israel into a devoted thing and you will trouble it.
19 Así que toda la plata y el oro, y todo lo que sea de bronce y hierro, son sagrados para el Señor y deben ser puestos en el tesoro del Señor”.
And all - silver and gold and articles of bronze and iron [is] a holy thing it to Yahweh [the] treasury of Yahweh it will go.
20 Tan pronto como oyeron el sonido de las bocinas, el pueblo dio un fuerte grito, y las murallas de la ciudad se derrumbaron. Los hombres entraron de inmediato y capturaron la ciudad.
And it shouted the people and they gave a blast on the trumpets and it was when heard the people [the] sound of the trumpet and they shouted the people a shout loud and it fell the city wall in place its and it went up the people the city towards everyone before himself and they captured the city.
21 Destruyeron todo lo que había en la ciudad: hombres y mujeres, jóvenes y ancianos, ganado, ovejas y burros, todos fueron asesinados con espada.
And they totally destroyed all that [was] in the city from man and unto woman from young man and unto old [man] and unto ox[en] and sheep and donkey[s] to [the] mouth of [the] sword.
22 Josué lehabía dicho a los dos hombres que habían ido a explorar la tierra: “Vayan a la casa de la prostituta Rahab y sáquenla junto con toda su familia, tal como se lo prometieron”
And to two the men who had spied out the land he said Joshua go [the] house of the woman the prostitute and bring out from there the woman and every [one] who [belongs] to her just as you swore to her.
23 Así que los espías fueron y sacaron a Rahab, a su padre y a su madre, y a todos los que estaban con ella. Sacaron a toda la familia y los llevaron a un lugar cerca del campamento israelita.
And they went the young men who had spied out and they brought out Rahab and father her and mother her and brothers her and every [one] who [belonged] to her and all famili her they brought out and they put them from [the] outside of [the] camp of Israel.
24 Los israelitas quemaron la ciudad y todo lo que había en ella, excepto la plata y el oro, y todo lo que estaba hecho de bronce y hierro, lo cual pusieron en el tesoro de la casa del Señor.
And the city they burned with fire and all that [was] in it only - the silver and the gold and [the] articles of bronze and iron they put [the] treasury of [the] house of Yahweh.
25 Josué salvó a Rahab, la prostituta, y a su familia porque escondió a los hombres que Josué había enviado a espiar a Jericó. Y ella vive entre los israelitas hasta el día de hoy.
And Rahab the prostitute and [the] household of father her and every [one] who [belonged] to her he let live Joshua and she has dwelt in [the] midst of Israel until the day this for she hid the messengers whom he had sent Joshua to spy out Jericho.
26 En ese momento Josué declaró una maldición, diciendo: “Maldito sea ante el Señor todo aquel que intente reconstruir esta ciudad de Jericó. Él pone sus cimientos a costa de su hijo primogénito; él pone sus puertas a costa de su hijo menor”.
And he administered an oath Joshua at the time that saying [is] cursed the person before Yahweh who he will arise and he will rebuild the city this Jericho with firstborn his he will found it and with young [son] his he will set up gates its.
27 Y el Señor estaba con Josué, y su fama se extendió por toda la tierra.
And he was Yahweh with Joshua and it was [the] report of him in all the land.
