Josué 22

1 Entonces Josué convocó a las tribus de Rubén, Gad y la media tribu de Manasés.

Then he summoned Joshua the Reubenite[s] and the Gadite[s] and [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh.

2 Les dijo: “Ustedes han hecho todo lo que Moisés, el siervo del Señor, les dijo que hicieran, y han seguido todos los mandatos que les di.

And he said to them you you have kept all that he commanded you Moses [the] servant of Yahweh and you have listened to voice my to all that I have commanded you.

3 En todo este tiempo, y hasta el día de hoy nunca han abandonado a sus hermanos. Han seguido cuidadosamente lo que el Señor, su Dios, les ordenó hacer.

Not you have forsaken countrymen your this days many until the day this and you have kept [the] charge of [the] commandment of Yahweh God your.

4 Ahora que el Señor su Dios le ha dado la paz a sus hermanos, como lo prometió, ustedes deben regresar a su tierra, la que Moisés el siervo del Señor, les dio al otro lado del Jordán.

And now he has given rest Yahweh God your to countrymen your just as he spoke to them and therefore turn and go for yourselves to tents your to [the] land of possession your which - he gave to you Moses [the] servant of Yahweh on [the] other side of the Jordan.

5 Pero asegúrense de cumplir los mandamientos y la ley, tal como se los instruyó Moisés. Amen al Señor, su Dios, sigan todos sus caminos, guarden sus mandamientos, permanezcan junto a él y sírvanle con todo su ser”.

Only - take care exceedingly to do the commandment and the law which he commanded you Moses [the] servant of Yahweh to love Yahweh God your and to walk in all ways his and to keep commandments his and to cleave to him and to serve him with all heart your and with all being your.

6 Josué los bendijo, los despidió y se fueron a casa.

And he blessed them Joshua and he sent away them and they went to tents their.

7 Moisés había dado a la media tribu de Manasés la tierra de Basán, y a la otra mitad de la tribu Josué le había dado tierras al oeste del Jordán. Así que Josué los bendijo y los envió a casa.

And to [the] half of - [the] tribe of Manasseh he had given Moses in Bashan and to half of it he had given Joshua with countrymen their (on [the] other side of *Q(K)*) the Jordan west-ward and also if he sent away them Joshua to tents their and he blessed them.

8 Les dijo: “Llévense a casa todas las riquezas que se han ganado: los grandes rebaños de ganado, los objetos de oro, plata, cobre y hierro, la gran cantidad de ropa. Compartan todo este botín con sus hermanos”.

And he said to them saying with riches great return to tents your and with livestock much very with silver and with gold and with bronze and with iron and with garments many very divide [the] booty of enemies your with countrymen your.

9 Así que las tribus de Rubén y Gad y la media tribu de Manasés dejaron al resto de los israelitas en Silo, en la tierra de Canaán, y regresaron a su tierra en Galaad, la cual habían recibido por orden del Señor a través de Moisés.

And they returned and they went [the] descendants of Reuben and [the] descendants of Gad and [the] half of - [the] tribe of Manasseh from with [the] people of Israel from Shiloh which [is] in [the] land of Canaan to go to [the] land of Gilead to [the] land of possession their which they had possessions in it on [the] mouth of Yahweh by [the] hand of Moses.

10 Cuando se acercaron a la región del Jordán, todavía en la tierra de Canaán, las tribus de Rubén y Gad, y la media tribu de Manasés construyeron un altar grande e impresionante junto al río Jordán.

And they came to Geliloth of the Jordan which [is] in [the] land of Canaan and they built [the] descendants of Reuben and [the] descendants of Gad and [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh there an altar at the Jordan an altar large of appearance.

11 Se les dijo a los israelitas: “Miren, las tribus de Rubén y Gad, y la media tribu de Manasés han construido un altar en la región del Jordán de la tierra de Canaán, del lado que pertenece a los israelitas”.

And they heard [the] people of Israel saying there! they have built [the] descendants of Reuben and [the] descendants of Gad and [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh the altar to opposite to [the] land of Canaan to Geliloth of the Jordan to [the] side of [the] people of Israel.

12 Los israelitas se reunieron en Silo para ir a la guerra contra ellos.

And they heard [the] people of Israel and they assembled all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel Shiloh to go up on them for war.

13 Antes de hacerlo, enviaron a Finés, hijo del sacerdote Eleazar, a las tribus de Rubén y Gad, y a la media tribu de Manasés en la tierra de Galaad.

And they sent [the] people of Israel to [the] descendants of Reuben and to [the] descendants of Gad and to [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh to [the] land of Gilead Phinehas [the] son of Eleazar the priest.

14 Con él iban diez jefes, uno de cada una de las diez tribus de Israel, y cada uno el jefe de su familia.

And ten leaders [were] with him a leader one a leader one to [the] house of a father to all [the] tribes of Israel and each [was] a leader of [the] house of fathers their they [belong] to [the] families of Israel.

15 Cuando llegaron, les dijeron a las tribus de Rubén y Gad, y a la media tribu de Manasés:

And they went to [the] descendants of Reuben and to [the] descendants of Gad and to [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh to [the] land of Gilead and they spoke with them saying.

16 “Esto es lo que dice todo el pueblo del Señor: ‘¿Qué acto desleal es este que han cometido contra el Dios de Israel al construiros un altar? ¿Cómo pudieron apartarse de él ahora con tanta rebeldía?

Thus they say all - [the] congregation of Yahweh what? [is] the unfaithfulness this which you have acted unfaithfully against [the] God of Israel by turning back this day from after Yahweh when built you for yourselves an altar by rebelling your this day against Yahweh.

17 ¿No fue suficiente nuestro pecado en Peors? Ni siquiera ahora estamos limpios de la plaga que atacó al pueblo del Señor.

¿ Little for us [was] [the] iniquity of Peor which not we have cleansed ourselves from it until the day this and it was the plague among [the] congregation of Yahweh.

18 Entonces, ¿por qué se alejan ahora del Señor? Si hoy se rebelan contra el Señor, mañana se enfadará con todos nosotros.

And you you are turning away this day from after Yahweh and it will be you you are rebelling this day against Yahweh and tomorrow against all [the] congregation of Israel he will be angry.

19 “Pero si creen que su tierra está contaminada, entonces vengan a la tierra del Señor, donde se encuentra el Tabernáculo del Señor, y compartan parte de nuestra tierra con nosotros. Pero no se rebelen contra el Señor, ni contra nosotros, construyendo para ustedes un altar distinto del altar del Señor, nuestro Dios.

And surely if [is] unclean [the] land of possession your pass over for yourselves into [the] land of [the] possession of Yahweh where it dwells there [the] tabernacle of Yahweh and have possessions in midst of us and against Yahweh may not you rebel and us to may you rebel when build you for yourselves an altar except [the] altar of Yahweh God our.

20 Cuando Acán, hijo de Zéraj, actuó deslealmente al tomar cosas consagradas, ¿no sufrió el castigo todo Israel? No fue el único que murió a causa de su pecado’”.

¿ Not - Achan [the] son of Zerah did he act unfaithfully unfaithfulness in the devoted thing[s] and towards all [the] congregation of Israel it was anger and he [was] a man one not did he die? for iniquity his.

21 Entonces las tribus de Rubén y Gad, y la media tribu de Manasés, respondieron a los dirigentes israelitas:

And they answered [the] descendants of Reuben and [the] descendants of Gad and [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh and they spoke with [the] leaders of [the] families of Israel.

22 “El Señor es Dios de dioses, el Señor es Dios de dioses y él lo sabe! ¡Que lo sepa Israel también! Si nos rebelamos contra Dios o le somos desleales, ¡mátennos ahora mismo!

El - God - Yahweh El - God - Yahweh he [is] knowing and Israel it let it know if in rebellion and if in unfaithfulness on Yahweh may not you save us the day this.

23 Si nuestra acción de construir un altar fue para alejarnos del Señor, o para usar el altar para hacer holocaustos u ofrendas de grano o de comunión, entonces que el Señor nos castigue.

To build for ourselves an altar to turn back from after Yahweh and if to offer up on it a burnt offering and a grain offering and if to make on it sacrifices of peace offerings Yahweh he may he require.

24 “Lo hicimos porque nos preocupaba que en el futuro tus descendientes dijeran a los nuestros: ‘¿Qué tienes que ver con el Señor, el Dios de Israel?

And if not from anxiety from a matter we have done this saying tomorrow they will say descendants your to descendants our saying what? [is] to you and to Yahweh [the] God of Israel.

25 El Señor puso una frontera – elrío Jordán- entre nosotros y ustedes, descendientes de Rubén y Gad. Ustedes no pertenecen al Señor’. Así tus descendientes podrían impedir que los nuestros adorasen al Señor.

And a border he has put Yahweh between us and between you [the] descendants of Reuben and [the] descendants of Gad the Jordan not [belongs] to you a portion in Yahweh and they will cause to cease descendants your descendants our to not to fear Yahweh.

26 “Así que dijimos: ‘Construyamos un altar, no para holocaustos ni para sacrificios,

And we said let us act please for ourselves by building the altar not for burnt offering and not for sacrifice.

27 sino como testimonio entre nosotros y ustedes, y para las generaciones que vengan después de nosotros, de que vendremos a adorar al Señor en su presencia con nuestros holocaustos, sacrificios y ofrendas de comunión’. Entonces tus descendientes no podrán decir a los nuestros en el futuro: ‘Tú no perteneces al Señor’.

For [is] a witness it between us and between you and between generations our after us to serve [the] service of Yahweh before him with burnt offerings our and with sacrifices our and with peace offerings our and not they will say descendants your tomorrow to descendants our not [belongs] to you a portion in Yahweh.

28 “Si lo hicieran en el futuro, nuestros descendientes podrían responder: ‘Mira esta réplica del altar del Señor que hicieron nuestros antepasados, no para los holocaustos ni para los sacrificios, sino como testimonio entre nosotros y tú’.

And we said and it will be that they will say to us and to generations our tomorrow and we will say see [the] copy of [the] altar of Yahweh which they made ancestors our not for burnt offering and not for sacrifice for [is] a witness it between us and between you.

29 “Jamás se nos ocurriría rebelarnos contra el Señor o alejarnos de él construyendo un altar para hacer holocaustos o ofrendas de grano o sacrificios. El único altar del Señor, nuestro Dios, es el que está frente a su Tabernáculo”.

Far be it to us from us to rebel against Yahweh and to turn back this day from after Yahweh by building an altar for burnt offering for grain offering and for sacrifice besides [the] altar of Yahweh God our which [is] before tabernacle his.

30 Cuando Finés y los jefes israelitas oyeron esto de las tribus de Rubén y Gad y de la media tribu de Manasés, se alegraron.

And he heard Phinehas the priest and [the] leaders of the congregation and [the] heads of [the] families of Israel who [were] with him the words which they spoke [the] descendants of Reuben and [the] descendants of Gad and [the] descendants of Manasseh and it was good in view their.

31 Finés respondió a las tribus de Rubén y Gad y a la media tribu de Manasés: “Hoy sabemos que el Señor está con nosotros porque ustedes no han actuado deslealmente al hacer esto. Ahora han salvado a los israelitas de ser castigados por el Señor”.

And he said Phinehas [the] son of Eleazar the priest to [the] descendants of Reuben and to [the] descendants of Gad and to [the] descendants of Manasseh this day - we know that [is] among midst of us Yahweh that not you have acted unfaithfully against Yahweh the unfaithfulness this then you have delivered [the] people of Israel from [the] hand of Yahweh.

32 Entonces Finés y los líderes israelitas dejaron a las tribus de Rubén y Gad y a la media tribu de Manasés en la tierra de Galaad y regresaron a la tierra de Canaán para explicar la situación a los israelitas.

And he returned Phinehas [the] son of Eleazar the priest - and the leaders from with [the] descendants of Reuben and from with [the] descendants of Gad from [the] land of Gilead to [the] land of Canaan to [the] people of Israel and they brought back with them word.

33 Los israelitas se alegraron del informe y Dios los bendijo. Ya no hablaron de ir a la guerra para destruir la tierra donde vivían las tribus de Rubén y Gad.

And it was good the word in [the] eyes of [the] people of Israel and they blessed God [the] people of Israel and not they said to go up on them for war to destroy the land which [the] descendants of Reuben and [the] descendants of Gad [were] dwelling in it.

34 Las tribus de Rubén y Gad llamaron al altar “Testigo”, porque dijeron: “Es un testigo entre nosotros de que el Señor es también nuestro Dios”.

And they called [the] descendants of Reuben and [the] descendants of Gad the altar for [is] a witness it between us that Yahweh [is] God.
