Josué 18
1 La tierra había sido sometida y estaba ante ellos. Los israelitas se reunieron en Silo e instalaron el Tabernáculo de Reunión.
And they assembled all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel Shiloh and they caused to dwell there [the] tent of meeting and the land it was subdued before them.
2 Sin embargo, siete de las tribus israelitas no habían recibido sus asignaciones de tierras.
And they remained among [the] people of Israel which not they had divided inheritance their seven tribes.
3 Entonces Josué les preguntó a los israelitas: “¿Hasta cuándo seguirán siendo reacios a ir a tomar posesión de la tierra que el Señor le dio a sus antepasados?
And he said Joshua to [the] people of Israel until when? [will] you [be] showing yourself slack to go to take possession of the land which he has given to you Yahweh [the] God of ancestors your.
4 Elijan a tres hombres de cada tribu y los enviaré a explorar la tierra. Luego podrán escribir una descripción sobre la distribución de la tierra y traérmela.
Provide for yourselves three men to the tribe so I may send them and they may arise so they may walk in the land so they may describe in writing it to [the] mouth of inheritance their so they may come to me.
5 Deben dividir la tierra en siete partes, hasta el límite de la tierra de Judá en el sur y la de José en el norte.
And they will divide among themselves it seven portions Judah it will remain on territory its from [the] south and [the] house of Joseph they will remain on territory their from [the] north.
6 Una vez que hayas escrito la descripción de la tierra, dividiéndola en siete partes, me la traerás aquí y yo te echaré suertes en presencia del Señor, nuestro Dios.
And you you will describe in writing the land seven portions and you will bring [it] to me hither and I will throw for you a lot here before Yahweh God our.
7 “Pero los levitas no reciben una parte, pues su función como sacerdotes del Señor es su asignación. Además, Gad, Rubén y la media tribu de Manasés ya han recibido su asignación que Moisés, el siervo del Señor, les dio en el lado oriental del Jordán”.
For not a portion [will belong] to the Levites in midst your for [is] [the] priesthood of Yahweh inheritance its and Gad and Reuben and [the] half of [the] tribe of Manasseh they have received inheritance their from [the] other side of the Jordan east-ward which he gave to them Moses [the] servant of Yahweh.
8 Cuando los hombres se pusieron en camino para explorar la tierra Josué les dijo: “Recorran la tierra y escriban una descripción de lo que encuentren. Luego vuelvan a mí y yo les echaré suertes en presencia del Señor, aquí en Silo”.
And they arose the men and they went and he commanded Joshua those [who] went to describe in writing the land saying go and walk about in the land and describe in writing it and return to me and here I will throw for you a lot before Yahweh in Shiloh.
9 Así que los hombres fueron y exploraron la tierra y escribieron en un pergamino una descripción de las siete partes, registrando los pueblos de cada parte. Luego regresaron con Josué al campamento de Silo
And they went the men and they passed in the land and they described in writing it to the cities into seven portions on a scroll and they came to Joshua to the camp Shiloh.
10 w donde Josué les echó suertes en presencia del Señor. Allí Josué dividió la tierra y asignó las diferentes partes a las tribus israelitas que quedaban.
And he threw for them Joshua a lot in Shiloh before Yahweh and he apportioned there Joshua the land to [the] people of Israel according to divisions their.
11 La primera suerte echada fue para la tribu de Benjamín, por familias. La tierra asignada estaba entre la de la tribu de Judá y la de la tribu de José.
And it came up [the] lot of [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Benjamin to clans their and it went out [the] territory of lot their [was] between [the] descendants of Judah and between [the] descendants of Joseph.
12 Su límite comenzaba en el Jordán, iba al norte de la ladera de Jericó, al oeste a través de la región montañosa, y salía al desierto de Bet-aven.
And it was to them the border of [the] side of north-ward from the Jordan and it goes up the border to [the] slope of Jericho from [the] north and it goes up in the hill country west-ward (and they are *Q(K)*) extremities its [the] wilderness of towards Beth Aven.
13 Luego el límite iba hacia el sur hasta Luz (o Betel) y bajaba hasta Atarot-adar en la montaña al sur de la parte baja de Bet-horón.
And it passes on from there the border Luz towards to [the] slope of Luz south-ward that [is] Beth-el and it goes down the border Ataroth Addar on the mountain which [is] from [the] south of Beth Horon lower.
14 Aquí el límite giraba hacia el sur a lo largo del lado occidental de la montaña frente a Bet-horón, terminando en Quiriat-baal (o Quiriat-Yearín), una ciudad de la tribu de Judá. Este era el límite occidental.
And it turns the border and it turns to [the] side of [the] west south-ward from the mountain which [is] on [the] face of Beth Horon [the] south towards (and they are *Q(K)*) extremities its to Kiriath Baal that [is] Kiriath Jearim [the] city of [the] descendants of Judah this [is the] side of [the] west.
15 El límite sur comenzaba en el límite de Quiriat-Yearín. Corría hasta el manantial de Neftoa,
And [the] side of [the] south [is] from [the] end of Kiriath Jearim and it goes out the border west-ward and it goes out to [the] spring of [the] waters of Nephtoah.
16 y luego bajaba hasta el pie de la montaña que da al valle de Ben-hinom, en el extremo norte del valle de Refayín. Luego bajaba por el valle de Hinom, por la ladera cercana a la ciudad jebusea, al sur, hacia En-rogel.
And it goes down the border to [the] end of the mountain which [is] on [the] face [the] valley of Ben Hinnom which [is] in [the] valley of [the] Rephaites north-ward and it goes down [the] valley of [Ben] Hinnom to [the] slope of the Jebusite[s] [the] south towards and it goes down En Rogel.
17 Desde allí se dirigía hacia el norte, hacia En-semes y hacia Gelilot, frente a las alturas de Adumín, y luego bajó hasta la Piedra de Bohán (hijo de Rubén).
And it turns from [the] north and it goes out En Shemesh and it goes out to Geliloth which [is] opposite [the] ascent of Adummim and it goes down [the] stone of Bohan [the] son of Reuben.
18 Luego recorría la cordillera frente al valle del Jordán, hacia el norte, y después bajaban al mismo valle del Jordán.
And it passes on to [the] slope opposite to the Arabah north-ward and it goes down the Arabah towards.
19 Desde allí corría a lo largo de la ladera norte de Bet-hogá, terminando en la bahía norte del Mar Salado, el extremo sur del Jordán. Este era el límite sur.
And it passes on the border to [the] slope of Beth Hoglah north-ward (and they are [the] extremities of *Q(K)*) the territory to [the] bay of [the] Sea of Salt north-ward to [the] end of the Jordan [the] south towards this [is the] border of [the] south.
20 El límite oriental era el Jordán. Estos eran los límites alrededor de la tierra de la tribu de Benjamín, por familias.
And the Jordan it borders it to [the] side of east-ward this [was] [the] inheritance of [the] descendants of Benjamin to borders its around to clans their.

And they belonged the cities to [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Benjamin to clans their Jericho and Beth Hoglah and Emek Keziz.
22 Bet-arabá, Zemaryin, Betel,
And Beth Arabah and Zemaraim and Beth-el.
23 Avīn, Pará, Ofra,
And Avvites and Parah and Ophrah.
24 Quefar-amoní, Ofni y Gueba. En total, doce ciudades con sus correspondientes aldeas.
And Kephar (Ammonah *Q(K)*) and Ophni and Geba cities two [plus] ten and villages their.
25 Además: Gabaón, Ramá, Beerot,
Gibeon and Ramah and Beeroth.
26 Mizpa, Kefira, Moza,
And Mizpah and Kephirah and Mozah.
27 Rekem, Irpeel, Taralá,
And Rekem and Irpeel and Taralah.
28 Zela, Haelef, Jebús (o Jerusalén), Guibeá y Quiriat-Yearín, es decir, catorce ciudades con sus aldeas correspondientes. Esta fue la tierra asignada a la tribu de Benjamín, por familias.
And Zelah Haeleph and the Jebusite that [is] Jerusalem Gibeah Kiriath cities four-teen and villages their this [was] [the] inheritance of [the] descendants of Benjamin to clans their.
