Ezequiel 30

1 Me llegó otro mensaje del Señor, diciendo:

The worde of the Lord came againe vnto me, saying,

2 “Hijo de hombre, profetiza y anuncia que esto es lo que dice el Señor Dios: ¡Llora! ¡Este es un día terrible!

Sonne of man, prophesie, and say, Thus sayth the Lord God, Howle and cry, Wo be vnto this day.

3 Pronto llegará el día: el Día del Señor está cerca. Será un día sombrío y nublado, un tiempo de juicio para las naciones.

For the day is neere, and the day of the Lord is at hand, a cloudie day, and it shall be the time of the heathen.

4 Una espada vendrá a atacar a Egipto, y habrá angustia en Cus, cuando la gente sea asesinada en Egipto, cuando le roben sus riquezas y arruinen el país.

And the sword shall come vpon Egypt, and feare shall be in Ethiopia, when the slaine shall fall in Egypt, when they shall take away her multitude, and when her foundations shall be broken downe.

5 Cus, Put y Lud, y muchos otros pueblos, así como Arabia, Cub y los pueblos de la tierra prometida, todos ellos, como Egipto, serán muertos a espada.

Ethiopia and Phut, and Lud, and all the common people, and Cub, and the men of the land, that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword.

6 Esto es lo que dice el Señor: Los aliados de Egipto caerán, y el país perderá su posición de prestigio. Desde Migdol, en el norte, hasta Asuán, en el sur, serán muertos a espada, declara el Señor Dios.

Thus sayth the Lord, They also that mainteine Egypt, shall fall, and the pride of her power shall come downe: from the towre of Seueneh shall they fall by the sword, sayth the Lord God.

7 Egipto se convertirá en un páramo más que cualquier otro país, y sus ciudades quedarán en ruinas.

And they shall be desolate in the middes of the countries that are desolate, and her cities shall be in the middes of the cities that are wasted.

8 Entonces reconocerán que yo soy el Señor cuando prenda fuego a Egipto y todos sus aliados sean aplastados.

And they shall knowe that I am the Lord, when I haue set a fire in Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed.

9 “En ese momento enviaré mensajeros en barcos para sacudir a Cus de su sensación de seguridad. Temblarán de miedo cuando los desastres golpeen a Egipto. ¡Cuidado! Definitivamente, ¡se acerca!

In that day shall there messengers go forth from me in shippes, to make the carelesse Mores aftaide, and feare shall come vpon them, as in the day of Egypt: for loe, it commeth.

10 Esto es lo que dice el Señor Dios: Usaré a Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, para quitarle a Egipto sus riquezas.

Thus sayth the Lord God, I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel.

11 Él y su ejército de la nación más cruel del mundo serán traídos para destruir el país. Usarán sus espadas para atacar a Egipto, y llenarán la tierra de cadáveres.

For he and his people with him, euen the terrible nations shall be brought to destroy the land: and they shall drawe their swordes against Egypt, and fill the land with the slaine.

12 Secaré los ríos y venderé la tierra a gente malvada. Usando a estos extranjeros arruinaré la tierra y todo lo que hay en ella. Yo, el Señor, he hablado.

And I will make the riuers drye, and fell the land into the hands of the wicked, and I will make the land waste, and all that therein is by the hands of strangers: I the Lord haue spoken it.

13 “Esto es lo que dice el Señor Dios: Voy a destruir los ídolos y a deshacerme de las imágenes en Menfis. Ya no habrá príncipe en Egipto, y haré que todos en el país se aterroricen.

Thus saith the Lord God, I will also destroy the idoles, and I will cause their idoles to cease out of Noph, and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt, and I will send a feare in the land of Egypt.

14 Destruiré Patros, incendiaré Zoán y castigaré a Tebas.

And I will make Pathros desolate, and will set fire in Zoan, and I will execute iudgement in No.

15 Derramaré mi ira sobre Pelusio, la ciudad fortaleza de Egipto, y aniquilaré al ejército de Tebas.

And I will powre my wrath vpon Sin, which is the strength of Egypt: and I will destroy the multitude of No.

16 Prenderé fuego a Egipto, Pelusio sufrirá, Tebas será destrozada y Menfis tendrá problemas todos los días.

And I will set fire in Egypt: Sin shall haue great sorowe and No shalbe destroyed, and Noph shall haue sorowes dayly.

17 Los jóvenes soldados de Heliópolis y Bubastis caerán a espada, y la gente de esas ciudades será llevada cautiva.

The yong men of Auen, and of Phibeseth shall fall by the sworde: and these cities shall goe into captiuitie.

18 Será un día oscuro en Tafnes cuando rompa el poder de Egipto y ponga fin a su orgullosa fuerza. Será bajo una nube cuando el pueblo vaya al cautiverio.

At Tehaphnehes the day shall restraine his light, when I shall breake there the barres of Egypt: and when the pompe of her power shall cease in her, the cloude shall couer her, and her daughters shall goe into captiuitie.

19 Así es como voy a castigar a Egipto, y reconocerán que yo soy el Señor”.

Thus will I execute iudgements in Egypt, and they shall knowe that I am the Lord.

20 El séptimo día del primer mes del undécimo año, me llegó un mensaje del Señor que decía:

And in the eleuenth yeere, in the first moneth, and in the seuenth day of the moneth, the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,

21 “Hijo de hombre, he roto el brazo del faraón, rey de Egipto. Puedes ver que no ha sido vendado para curarlo, ni se le ha puesto una férula para que tenga suficiente fuerza para sostener una espada.

Sonne of man, I haue broken the arme of Pharaoh King of Egypt: and lo, it shall not be boud vp to be healed, neither shall they put a roule to bind it, and so make it strong, to hold the sworde.

22 “Así que esto es lo que dice el Señor Dios: ¡Cuidado, porque voy a condenar al faraón, rey de Egipto! Le romperé los brazos, tanto el que aún está bien como el que ya está roto, y le haré soltar la espada.

Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I come against Pharaoh King of Egypt, and will breake his arme, that was strong, but is broken, and I will cause the sworde to fall out of his hande.

23 Dispersaré a los egipcios entre las diferentes naciones y países.

And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countreys.

24 “Haré fuertes los brazos del rey de Babilonia y pondré mi espada en su mano, pero romperé los brazos del faraón, y gemirá de dolor como quien está a punto de morir.

And I will strengthen the arme of the King of Babel, and put my sworde in his hand, but I will breake Pharaohs armes, and he shall cast out sighings, as the sighings of him, that is wounded before him.

25 Haré fuertes los brazos del rey de Babilonia, pero los brazos del faraón caerán a sus costados, débiles e inútiles. “Entonces reconocerán que yo soy el Señor, cuando ponga mi espada en la mano del rey de Babilonia y él la use para atacar a Egipto.

But I will strengthen the armes of the king of Babel, and the armes of Pharaoh shall fall downe, and they shall knowe, that I am the Lord, when I shall put my sworde into the hand of the King of Babel, and he shall stretch it out vpon the land of Egypt.

26 Cuando disperse a los egipcios entre las diferentes naciones y países, reconocerán que yo soy el Señor”.

And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among ye countreys, and they shall knowe, that I am the Lord.
