Ezequiel 12
1 Me llegó un mensaje del Señor que decía:
And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
2 “Hijo de hombre, vives entre gente rebelde. Tienen ojos para ver pero no ven, y oídos para oír pero no escuchan, porque son gente rebelde.
and he seide, Sone of man, thou dwellist in the myddis of an hous terrynge to wraththe, which han iyen to se, and seen not, and eeris to here, and heren not; for it is an hous terrynge to wraththe.
3 “Así que, hijo de hombre, ve y haz tus maletas como si fueras a exiliarte. Mientras la gente mira, prepara todo durante el día para salir de donde estás e ir a otro lugar. Tal vez se den cuenta de lo que esto significa, aunque sean gente rebelde.
Therfor thou, sone of man, make to thee vessels of passing ouer, and thou schalt passe ouer bi dai bifor hem; forsothe thou schalt passe ouer fro thi place to another place, in the siyt of hem, if perauenture thei biholden, for it is an hous terrynge to wraththe.
4 Saquen sus maletas para viajar al exilio durante el día, mientras ellos vigilan. Pero tú mismo debes salir al atardecer mientras ellos vigilan, como quien va al exilio.
And thou schalt bere withoutforth thi vessels, as the vessels of a man passynge ouer bi dai, in the siyt of hem; sotheli thou schalt go out in the euentid bifore hem, as a man passynge forth goith out.
5 “Mientras ellos vigilan, derriba una parte del muro de tu casa y saca tus pertenencias por el agujero.
Bifore the iyen of hem digge the wal to thee, and thou
6 Cuando oscurezca, mientras ellos siguen vigilando, ponte las maletas al hombro y llévalas al salir. Cúbrete la cara para que no puedas ver el país que dejas atrás, porque te doy una señal para advertir al pueblo de Israel”.
schalt go out thorouy it in the siyt of hem. Thou schalt be borun on schuldris, thou schalt be borun out in derknesse; thou schalt hile thi face, and thou schalt not se the erthe, for Y haue youe thee a signe
7 Así que hice lo que se me indicó. Saqué mis maletas para ir al exilio durante el día, y por la noche derribé parte del muro de mi casa con mis propias manos. Saqué mis pertenencias cuando se hizo de noche, cargándolas al hombro mientras ellos vigilaban.
of thing to comynge to the hous of Israel. Therfor Y dide as the Lord comaundide to me; Y brouyte forth my vessels, as the vessels of a man passynge ouer bi dai, and in the euentid Y diggide a wal to me with hond; Y yede out in derknesse, and Y was borun on schuldris,
8 Por la mañana me llegó un mensaje del Señor, que decía:
in the siyt of hem. And the word of the Lord was maad eerli to me,
9 “Hijo de hombre, ¿no te han preguntado esos israelitas rebeldes: ‘¿Qué estás haciendo?’
and he seide, Sone of man, whether the hous of Israel, the hous terrynge to wraththe, seiden not to thee, What doist thou?
10 Diles que esto es lo que dice el Señor Dios: ‘Esta señal profética concierne al príncipe que gobierna en Jerusalén y a todo el pueblo de Israel que vive allí’.
Seie thou to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis, This birthun is on the duyk, which is in Jerusalem, and on al the hous of Israel, which is in the myddis of hem.
11 “Debes decirles: ‘Yo soy una señal para ustedes’. Tal como se demostró aquí, así les sucederá a ellos: irán al exilio como prisioneros.
Seie thou, Y am youre signe of thing to comynge; as Y dide, so it schal be don to hem; thei schulen go in to passynge ouer, and in to caitifte.
12 Cuando se haga de noche, su príncipe también se echará las maletas al hombro y partirá. Derribarán el muro para llevárselo. Se cubrirá la cara para no ver el país que deja atrás.
And the duyk which is in the myddis of hem, schal be borun out on schuldris, and he schal go out in derknesse; thei schulen digge the wal, and lede hym out; his face schal be hilid, that he se not with iye the erthe.
13 Pero yo lo atraparé en mi red; lo atraparé en mi trampa. Lo llevaré a Babilonia, al país de Babilonia. Sin embargo, no lo verá, y allí morirá.
And Y schal stretche forth my net on hym, and he schal be takun in my net; and Y schal lede hym in to Babiloyne, in to the lond of Caldeis, and he schal not se that lond, and he schal die there.
14 “Voy a dispersar a todos sus ayudantes y a todas sus tropas en todas direcciones, y los perseguiré con la espada desenvainada.
And Y schal scatere in to ech wynd alle men that ben aboute hym, his help, and hise cumpenyes; and Y schal draw out the swerd aftir hem.
15 Ellos sabrán que yo soy el Señor cuando los disperse entre las diferentes naciones y países.
And thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord, whanne Y schal scatere hem among hethene men, and schal sowe hem abrood in londis.
16 “Pero dejaré que unos pocos sobrevivan a la guerra, al hambre y a la enfermedad para que puedan contar a las naciones donde están exiliados todos sus repugnantes pecados. Entonces sabrán que yo soy el Señor”.
And Y schal leue of hem a fewe men fro swerd, and hungur, and pestilence, that thei telle out alle the grete trespassis of hem among hethene men, to which thei schulen entre; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
17 Me llegó un mensaje del Señor que decía:
And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
18 “Hijo de hombre, tiembla al comer tu pan; tiembla de preocupación al beber tu agua.
and he seide, Thou, sone of man, ete thi breed in disturblyng, but also drynke thi water in haaste and mourening.
19 Entonces explica a la gente de este país que esto es lo que el Señor Dios dice a los que viven en Jerusalén y en el país de Israel: Estarán preocupados mientras comen su pan y estarán desesperados mientras beben su agua, porque su tierra será despojada a causa de los crímenes violentos cometidos por todos los que viven allí.
And thou schalt seie to the puple of the lond, The Lord God seith these thingis to hem that dwellen in Jerusalem, in the lond of Israel, Thei schulen ete her breed in angwisch, and thei schulen drynke her watir in desolacioun; that the lond be desolat of his multitude, for the wickidnesse of alle men that dwellen ther ynne.
20 Las ciudades serán destruidas y el campo se convertirá en un páramo. Entonces sabrán que yo soy el Señor”.
And citees that ben now enhabitid, shulen be desolat, and the lond schal be forsakun; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
21 Otro mensaje del Señor me llegó diciendo:
And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
22 “Hijo de hombre, ¿qué es ese proverbio que ustedes tienen en la tierra de Israel: ‘El tiempo pasa y ninguna visión se hace realidad?’
and he seide, Sone of man, what is this prouerbe to you, of men seiynge in the lond of Israel, Daies schulen be differrid in to long tyme, and ech visioun shal perische?
23 Pues diles que esto es lo que dice el Señor: ‘Voy a poner fin a este proverbio. Nadie en Israel lo citará nunca más’. “En cambio, diles: Pronto llegará el momento en que toda visión se hará realidad.
Therfor seie thou to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis, Y schal make this prouerbe to ceesse, and it schal no more be seid comynli in Israel; and speke thou to hem, that the daies han neiyid, and ech word of profesie.
24 No habrá más visiones falsas ni profecías falsas entre los israelitas,
For whi ech visioun schal no more be voide, nether bifor tellyng of thing to comynge schal be douteful in the myddis of the sones of Israel;
25 porque yo, el Señor, diré lo que quiera decir, y sucederá de inmediato. Ahora mismo, pueblo rebelde, diré algo y me aseguraré de que suceda, declara el Señor Dios”.
for Y the Lord schal speke what euer word Y schal speke, and it schal be don; it schal no more be delaied, but in youre daies, ye hous terrynge to wraththe, Y schal speke a word, and Y schal do that word, seith the Lord God.
26 Un mensaje adicional del Señor me llegó, diciendo:
And the word of the Lord was maad to me, and he seide, Thou,
27 “Hijo de hombre, fíjate en lo que dice el pueblo de Israel: ‘La visión que él está describiendo no sucederá en mucho tiempo. Está profetizando sobre un tiempo en el futuro lejano’.
sone of man, lo! the hous of Israel, of hem that seien, The visioun which this man seeth, is in to manye daies, and this man profesieth in to longe tymes.
28 “Pues diles que esto es lo que dice el Señor Dios: Todo lo que he dicho está a punto de suceder. No habrá más demora, declara el Señor Dios”.
Therfor seie thou to hem, The Lord God seith these thingis, Ech word of me schal no more be deferrid; the word which Y schal speke, schal be fillid, seith the Lord God.
