Deuteronomio 30
1 Un día después de que experimenten todo esto, las bendiciones y maldiciones de las que te he hablado, pensarás en ellas, viviendo en todas las diferentes naciones donde el Señor tu Dios te ha exiliado.
Therfor whanne alle these wordis comen on thee, blessyng ether cursing, which Y settide forth in thi siyt, and thou art led bi repentaunce of thin herte among alle folkis, in to whiche thi Lord God hath scaterid thee,
2 Cuando eso suceda, y cuando tú y tus hijos regresen al Señor tu Dios, y cuando hagas lo que él dice con toda tu mente y todo tu ser de acuerdo con todo lo que te estoy diciendo hoy, entonces el Señor tu Dios será misericordioso contigo.
and turnest ayen to hym, and obeiest to hise comaundementis, as Y comaundide to thee to dai, with thi sones, in al thin herte and in al thi soule,
3 Él te traerá de vuelta a casa, reuniéndote de todas las naciones donde te dispersó.
thi Lord God schal lede thee ayen fro thi caitifte, and schal haue mercy on thee, and eft he schal gadre thee from alle puplis, in to whiche he scateride the bifore.
4 Aunque te exiliases hasta los confines de la tierra, te recogerá de allí y te traerá de vuelta.
If thou art scaterid to the endis of heuene, fro thennus thi Lord God schal withdrawe thee;
5 El Señor tu Dios te traerá de vuelta al país que perteneció a tus antepasados y lo volverás a poseer. Él te hará triunfar, y tendrás aún más descendientes que tus antepasados.
and he schal take and schal bringe thee in to the lond which thi fadris weldiden; and thou schalt holde it, and he schal blesse thee, and schal make thee to be of more noumbre than thi fadris weren.
6 El Señor tu Dios te hará a ti y a tus descendientes suyos de nuevo, y lo amarás con toda tu mente y con todo tu ser, para que vivas.
Thi Lord God schal circumcide thin herte, and the herte of thi seed, that thou loue thi Lord God in al thin herte and in al thi soule, and maist liue.
7 Entonces el Señor tu Dios hará caer todas estas maldiciones sobre tus enemigos, sobre aquellos que te odian y persiguen.
Forsothe the Lord schal turne alle these cursyngis on thin enemyes, and on hem that haten and pursuen thee.
8 Una vez más harás lo que el Señor te diga y seguirás todos sus mandamientos que te doy hoy.
Sotheli thou schalt turne ayen, and schalt here the vois of thi Lord God, and schalt do alle the heestis whiche Y comaunde to thee to dai;
9 El Señor tu Dios te hará triunfar en todo lo que hagas, tendrás hijos, tu ganado será productivo y tendrás buenas cosechas. El Señor, una vez más, se alegrará de hacerte el bien, como lo hizo con tus antepasados,
and thi Lord God schal make thee to be plenteuouse, in alle the workis of thin hondis, in the children of thi wombe, and in the fruyt of thi beestis, in abundaunce of thi lond, and in largenesse of alle thingis. For the Lord schal turne ayen, that he haue ioye on thee in alle goodis, as he ioyede in thi fadris;
10 si obedeces al Señor tu Dios guardando sus mandamientos y preceptos escritos en este libro de la Ley, y si vuelves a él con toda tu mente y con todo tu ser.
if netheles thou herist the voys of thi Lord God, and kepist hise heestis and cerymonys, that ben writun in this lawe, and thou turne ayen to thi Lord God in al thin herte, and in al thi soule.
11 La instrucción que les doy hoy no es demasiado difícil de seguir para ustedes. No es que esté tan lejos que te sea imposible alcanzarla.
This comaundement whiche Y comaunde to thee to day,
12 No está en el cielo como para preguntarte: “¿Quién va a subir al cielo a conseguirla para nosotros y hacernos saber lo que dice para que podamos obedecerla?”
is not aboue thee, nethir is set fer, nethir is set in heuene, that thou maist seie, Who of vs may stie to heuene, that he brynge it to vs, and we here, and fille in werk?
13 No está al otro lado del océano ni más allá del mar, así que tienes que preguntarte: “¿Quién va a cruzar el océano para traérnosla y hacernos saber lo que dice para que podamos obedecerla?”
nether it is set biyende the see, `that thou pleyne, and seye, Who of vs may passe ouer the see, and brynge it til to vs, that we moun here and do that that is comaundid?
14 Sino que esta instrucción está aquí mismo con ustedes. Está en su boca y en su mente para que puedan obedecerla.
But the word is ful nyy thee, in thi mouth and in thin herte, that thou do it.
15 ¡Escuchen! Hoy he puesto una elección ante ustedes: la vida y lo que es bueno, o la muerte y lo que es malo.
Biholde thou, that to day Y haue set forth in thi siyt lijf and good, and ayenward deeth and yuel;
16 Yo les exhorto para que amen al Señor su Dios, que sigan sus caminos, y que guarden sus mandamientos, normas, y preceptos, para que puedan vivir y crecer en número, y para que el Señor su Dios los bendiga en el país que están entrando y que les pertenecerá.
that thou loue thi Lord God, and go in hise weies, and kepe hise heestis, and cerymonyes, and domes; and that thou lyue, and he multiplie thee, and blesse thee in the lond to which thou schalt entre to welde.
17 Si no haces caso de esto y te niegas a escuchar, si te sientes atraído a inclinarte ante otros dioses y adorarlos,
But if thin herte is turned awey, and thou nylt here, and thou art disseyued bi errour, and worschipist alien goddis,
18 entonces les advierto ahora mismo que definitivamente morirán. No vivirán mucho tiempo en el país que van a poseer después de cruzar el Jordán.
and seruest hem, Y biforseie to thee to dai, that thou schalt perische, and schalt dwelle litil tyme in the lond to which thou schalt entre to welde, whanne thou schalt passe Jordan.
19 Soy invoco al cielo y a la tierra para que sean mis testigos contra ti hoy que he puesto ante ustedes la vida y la muerte, las bendiciones y las maldiciones. Escojan la vida, para que ustedes y sus descendientes vivan,
Y clepe to day heuene and erthe witnesses, that is, aungels and men, that Y haue set forth to you lijf and deeth, good and yuel, blessyng and cursyng; therfor chese thou lijf, that bothe thou lyue and thi seed,
20 para que amen al Señor su Dios, le obedezcan y se aferren a él. Porque él es su vida, y les dará largas vidas en el país que el Señor prometió darles a sus antepasados, a Abraham, Isaac y Jacob.
and that thou loue thi Lord God, and obeie to his vois, and cleue to hym, for he is thi lijf, and the lengthe of thi daies; that thou dwelle in the lond, for which the Lord swoor to thi fadris, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, that he schulde yyue it to hem.
