Daniel 12

1 “En ese momento se levantará Miguel, el gran príncipe, el protector de tu pueblo, y habrá un tiempo de angustia como nunca antes, desde que existen las naciones. Pero en ese momento se salvará tu pueblo, todos cuyos nombres están escritos en el libro.

And at that time shall Michael stand vp, ye great prince, which standeth for ye children of thy people, and there shall be a time of trouble, such as neuer was since there began to be a nation vnto that same time: and at that time thy people shall be deliuered, euery one that shall be foud written in ye boke.

2 Millones dormidos en la tierra en la muerte despertarán, unos a la vida eterna, y otros a la vergüenza y a la desgracia eternas.

And many of them that sleepe in the dust of the earth, shall awake, some to euerlasting life, and some to shame and perpetuall contempt.

3 Los sabios brillarán como el cielo; los que han enseñado a muchos el buen camino de la vida brillarán como las estrellas por los siglos de los siglos.

And they that be wise, shall shine, as ye brightnes of the firmament: and they that turne many to righteousnes, shall shine as the starres, for euer and euer.

4 “Pero en cuanto a ti, Daniel, mantén este mensaje en secreto, y sella el libro cerrado hasta el tiempo del fin. Muchos buscarán por aquí y por allá, y el conocimiento será cada vez mayor”.

But thou, O Daniel, shut vp the words, and seale the boke til the end of the time: many shall run to and from, and knowledge shall be increased.

5 Entonces yo, Daniel, me fijé en otros dos, que estaban de pie en lados opuestos del río.

Then I Daniel looked, and behold, there stood other two, ye one on this side of ye brinke of ye riuer, and the other on that side of ye brinke of the riuer.

6 Uno de ellos preguntó al hombre vestido de lino que estaba por encima de las aguas del río, “¿Cuánto tiempo pasará antes de que estas cosas escandalosas se acaben?”

And one saide vnto the man clothed in linen, which was vpon ye waters of the riuer, When shalbe the ende of these wonders?

7 El hombre vestido de lino, que estaba por encima de las aguas del río, levantó ambas manos al cielo e hizo una promesa solemne por Aquel que vive eternamente. Le oí decir: “Durará un tiempo, tiempos y medio tiempo. Cuando la dispersión del poder del pueblo santo ha llegado a su fin, entonces todas estas cosas también llegarán a su fin”.

And I heard ye man clothed in line which was vpon the waters of the riuer, when he helde vp his right hand, and his left hand vnto heauen, and sware by him that liueth for euer, that it shall tarie for a time, two times and an halfe: and when he shall haue accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

8 Escuché la respuesta, pero no la entendí. Así que pregunté: “Mi señor, ¿cuál es el resultado final de todo esto?”

The I heard it, but I vnderstood it not: the said I, O my Lord, what shalbe ye end of these things?

9 “Daniel, ya puedes seguir tu camino”, respondió, “porque este mensaje es secreto y se mantiene sellado hasta el tiempo del fin.

And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for ye words are closed vp, and sealed, till the ende of the time.

10 “Muchos serán purificados, limpiados y refinados, pero los malvados seguirán siendo malvados. Ninguno de los malvados entenderá, pero los sabios sí.

Many shalbe purified, made white, and tried: but the wicked shall doe wickedly, and none of the wicked shall haue vnderstanding: but the wise shall vnderstand.

11 Desde el momento en que el ministerio continuo se detiene para establecer la idolatría que causa la desolación serán mil doscientos noventa días.

And from the time that the daily sacrifice shalbe take away and the abominable desolatio set vp, there shalbe a thousand, two hundreth and ninetie daies.

12 Bienaventurados los que esperan pacientemente y llegan a los mil trescientos treinta y cinco días.

Blessed is he that waiteth and commeth to the thousand, three hundreth and fiue and thirtie daies.

13 “Pero en cuanto a ti, sigue tu camino hasta que tu vida termine, y luego descansa. Te levantarás para recibir tu recompensa al final de los tiempos”.

But go thou thy way til the end be: for thou shalt rest and stand vp in thy lot, at the end of ye daies.
