Amós 6
1 ¡Grande es el desastre vendrá sobre ustedes que han vivido una vida cómoda en Sión, y que se sienten seguros viviendo en el Monte de Samaria! ¡Ustedes, que son los más famosos de todo Israel y a quien todos acuden pidiendo ayuda!
Woe to! the [people] at ease in Zion and those [who] trust in [the] mountain of Samaria [the] distinguished [people] of [the] first of the nations and they will come to them [the] house of Israel.
2 Pero vayan a Calné y miren lo que pasó allí. Luego vayan a la gran ciudad de Jamat, y luego bajen a la ciudad de Gat de los filisteos. ¿Acaso eran mejores que ustedes? ¿Acaso tenían más territorio que ustedes?
Pass over Calneh and see and go from there Hamath-Rabbah and go down Gath of [the] Philistines ¿ [are they] good more than the kingdoms these or? great [is] territory their more than territory your.
3 Ustedes no quieren ni pensar en la desgracia que está por venir, pero están apresurando la llegada del tiempo en que reinará la violencia.
Those [who] push away a day evil and you have brought near! a seat of violence.
4 ¡Grande es el desastre que vendrá para ustedes los que se recuestan en camas decoradas con marfil, y descansan en cómodos sillones, comiendo cordero de sus propios rebaños y becerros engordados en sus establos!
Those [who] lie on beds of ivory and [people] sprawled out on couches their and [those who] eat lambs from [the] flock and calves from [the] midst of [the] stall.
5 Ustedes componen canciones con acompañamiento de harpas, creyendo que son grandes compositores como David.
Those [who] improvise on [the] mouth of the lyre like David they have devised for themselves instruments of song.
6 Beben del vaso lleno de agua, y se ungen con los aceites más exclusivos, pero no se lamentan de la ruina de los descendientes de José.
Those [who] drink in bowls of wine and [the] best of oils they smear and not they were sickened on [the] ruin of (Joseph *L(abh)*)
7 Así que ustedes irán a la cabeza en el exilio, por lo cual las fiestas y la holgazanería se acabarán.
therefore now they will go into exile at [the] head of [those who] go into exile and it will come to an end [the] revelry of sprawled out [people].
8 El Señor ha jurado por su propia vida, y esto es lo que ha declarado: Detesto la arrogancia de Jacob y su castillo. Entregaré a su enemigo su ciudad y todo lo que hay en ella.
He has sworn [the] Lord Yahweh by self his [the] utterance of Yahweh God of hosts [am] loathing I [the] pride of Jacob and fortresses his I hate and I will deliver up [the] city and what fills it.
9 Si hay diez personas en una casa, todos morirán.
And it will be if they will remain ten men in a house one and they will die.
10 Y cuando un familiar venga a sacar los cuerpos de la casa, preguntará a quien esté allí “¿Hay alguien más contigo?” Y la persona responderá: “No”... Entonces el otro dirá: “¡Calla! Ni siquiera menciones el nombre del Señor”.
And he will lift up him loved one his and [the one who] burns him to bring out bones from the house and he will say to [the one] who [is] in [the] innermost parts of the house ¿ still [is anyone] with you and he will say no and he will say hush! for not to bring to remembrance [the] name of Yahweh.
11 ¡Tengan cuidado! Cuando el Señor de la orden, las grandes casas se reducirán a escombros, y las casas pequeñas quedarán en ruinas.
For here! Yahweh [is] commanding and someone will strike the house great fragments and the house small rubble.
12 ¿Pueden los caballos galopar sobre los escombros? ¿Pueden los bueyes arar el mar? ¡Pero ustedes han transformado la justicia en veneno, y el fruto de la bondad en amargura!
¿ Do they run! on the crag[s] horses or? does anyone plow with oxen for you have turned into poison justice and [the] fruit of righteousness into wormwood.
13 Con alegría celebran su conquista en Lodebar, y dicen “¿Acaso no capturamos a Carnáin con nuestra propia fuerza?”
The joyful [people] to Lo Debar who say ¿ not by own strength our have we taken for ourselves Karnaim.
14 ¡Tengan cuidado, pueblo de Israel! Yo enviaré una nación enemiga que los atacará, dice el Señor de Poder, y ellos los oprimirán desde el Paso de Jamat, hasta el Valle de Arabá.
For here I [am] about to raise up on you O house of Israel [the] utterance of Yahweh [the] God of hosts a nation and they will oppress you from Lebo Hamath to [the] wadi of Arabah.
