2 Reyes 21
1 Manasés tenía doce años cuando se convirtió en rey, y reinó en Jerusalén durante cincuenta y cinco años. El nombre de su madre era Hefzibá.
[was] a son of Two [plus] ten year[s] Manasseh when became king he and fifty and five year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Hephzi-bah.
2 Sus hechos fueron malos a los ojos del Señor, al seguir las repugnantes prácticas paganas de las naciones que el Señor había expulsado ante los israelitas.
And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh according to [the] abominations of the nations which he had dispossessed Yahweh from before [the] people of Israel.
3 Reconstruyó los lugares altos que su padre Ezequías había destruido, y levantó altares para Baal. Hizo un poste de ídolos de Asera, tal como lo había hecho Acab, rey de Israel, y adoró y sirvió al sol, la luna y las estrellas.
And he returned and he built the high places which he had destroyed Hezekiah father his and he set up altars to Baal and he made an Asherah pole just as he had done Ahab [the] king of Israel and he bowed down to all [the] host of the heavens and he served them.
4 Levantó altares paganos en el Templo del Señor, justo donde el Señor había dicho: “Pondré mi nombre en Jerusalén para siempre”.
And he built altars in [the] house of Yahweh which he had said Yahweh in Jerusalem I will put name my.
5 Erigió altares para adorar al sol, la luna y las estrellas en los dos patios del Templo del Señor.
And he built altars to all [the] host of the heavens in [the] two [the] courtyards of [the] house of Yahweh.
6 Incluso sacrificó a su propio hijo como holocausto, y utilizó la adivinación y la brujería, y trató con médiums y espiritistas. Hizo mucho mal a los ojos del Señor, haciendo que éste se enojara.
And he made pass son his in the fire and he practiced soothsaying and he practiced divination and he dealt with necromancer and soothsayers he increased to do the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh to provoke [him] to anger.
7 Tomó el poste del ídolo de Asera que había hecho y lo colocó en el Templo. Este era el lugar al que se refería el Señor cuando les dijo a David y a Salomón, su hijo: “En este Templo y en Jerusalén, que he elegido entre todas las tribus de Israel, pondré mi nombre para siempre.
And he put [the] image of Asherah which he had made in the house which he had said Yahweh to David and to Solomon son his in the house this and in Jerusalem which I have chosen from all [the] tribes of Israel I will put name my for ever.
8 Nunca más haré que los israelitas se alejen de la tierra que les di a sus antepasados si tienen cuidado de seguir todo lo que les he ordenado: toda la ley que les dio mi siervo Moisés”.
And not I will repeat to make wander [the] foot of Israel from the ground which I gave to ancestors their only - if they will take care to do according to all that I have commanded them and to all the law which he commanded them servant my Moses.
9 El pueblo se negó a escuchar y Manasés los llevó a pecar, de modo que el mal que hicieron fue aún peor que el de las naciones que el Señor había destruido antes de los israelitas.
And not they listened and he misled them Manasseh to do evil more than the nations which he had destroyed Yahweh from before [the] people of Israel.
10 El Señor dijo por medio de sus siervos los profetas
And he spoke Yahweh by [the] hand of servants his the prophets saying.
11 “Puesto que Manasés, rey de Judá, ha cometido todos estos repugnantes pecados, haciendo cosas aún más malas que los amorreos que vivieron antes que él, y con su fomento del culto a los ídolos ha hecho pecar a Judá,
Because that he has done Manasseh [the] king of Judah the abominations these he has done evil more than all that they did the Amorite[s] who [was] before him and he has caused to sin also Judah with idols his.
12 esto es lo que dice el Señor, el Dios de Israel: ¡Cuidado! Voy a hacer caer sobre Jerusalén y Judá un desastre tal que hará zumbar los oídos de todo el que lo oiga.
Therefore thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to bring calamity on Jerusalem and Judah which every ([one who] hears of it *Q(K)*) they will tingle [the] two ears his.
13 Extenderé sobre Jerusalén el cordel de medir usado contra Samaria y la plomada usada contra la casa de Acab, y limpiaré a Jerusalén como se limpia un cuenco, limpiándolo y dándole la vuelta.
And I will stretch out over Jerusalem [the] measuring-line of Samaria and [the] leveling tool of [the] house of Ahab and I will wipe clean Jerusalem just as someone wipes clean the bowl he wipes [it] clean and he turns [it] over on face its.
14 Abandonaré al resto de mi pueblo especial y lo entregaré a sus enemigos. Serán despojo y botín para todos sus enemigos,
And I will abandon [the] remnant of inheritance my and I will give them in [the] hand of enemies their and they will become spoil and plunder to all enemies their.
15 porque han hecho lo que es malo a mis ojos y me han hecho enojar desde el día en que sus padres salieron de Egipto hasta hoy”.
Because that they have done the evil in view my and they have been provoking to anger me since the day when they came out ancestors their from Egypt and until the day this.
16 Además, Manasés asesinó a tantos inocentes que Jerusalén se llenó de un lado a otro con su sangre. Esto se sumaba al pecado que había hecho cometer a Judá, haciendo el mal a los ojos del Señor.
And also blood innocent he shed Manasseh much very until that he had filled Jerusalem mouth to mouth apart from sin his which he caused to sin Judah to do the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh.
17 El resto de lo que sucedió en el reinado de Manasés, todo lo que hizo, así como los pecados que cometió, están registrados en el Libro de las Crónicas de los Reyes de Judá.
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Manasseh and all that he did and sin his which he sinned ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
18 Manasés murió y fue enterrado en el jardín de su palacio, el jardín de Uzza. Su hijo Amón le sucedió como rey.
And he lay down Manasseh with ancestors his and he was buried in [the] garden of house his in [the] garden of Uzzah and he became king Amon son his in place of him.
19 Amón tenía veintidós años cuando llegó a ser rey, y reinó en Jerusalén durante dos años. Su madre se llamaba Mesulémet, hija de Jaruz. Ella era de Jotba.
[was] a son of Twenty and two year[s] Amon when became king he and two years he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Meshullemeth [the] daughter of Haruz from Jotbah.
20 Sus hechos fueron malos a los ojos del Señor, tal como los de su padre Manasés.
And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh just as he had done Manasseh father his.
21 Siguió todos los caminos de su padre, y sirvió a los ídolos que su padre había servido, inclinándose en adoración a ellos.
And he walked in all the way which he had walked father his and he served the idols which he had served father his and he bowed down to them.
22 Rechazó al Señor, el Dios de sus antepasados, y no siguió el camino del Señor.
And he forsook Yahweh [the] God of ancestors his and not he walked in [the] way of Yahweh.
23 Los funcionarios de Amón conspiraron contra él y lo asesinaron en su palacio real.
And they conspired [the] servants of Amon on him and they killed the king in own house his.
24 Pero entonces el pueblo del país mató a todos los que habían conspirado contra el rey Amón, y eligieron a su hijo Josías como rey para sucederlo.
And it struck down [the] people of the land all those [who] had conspired on the king Amon and they made king [the] people of the land Josiah son his in place of him.
25 El resto de lo que sucedió en el reinado de Amón, y todo lo que hizo, están registrados en el Libro de las Crónicas de los Reyes de Judá.
And [the] rest of [the] matters of Amon which he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.
26 Fue enterrado en su tumba en el jardín de Uza, y su hijo Josías lo sucedió como rey.
(And someone buried *LB(ah)*) him in grave his in [the] garden of Uzzah and he became king Josiah son his in place of him.
