4 Los hijos de Noé: Sem, Cam, y Jafet.
Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
5 Los hijos de Jafet: Gómer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Mésec, and Tirás.
Sons of Japheth: Gomer and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6 Los hijos de Gomer: Asquenaz, Rifat, y Togarma.
And sons of Gomer: Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
7 Los hijos de Javán: Elisá, Tarsis, Quitín, Rodanín.
And sons of Javan: Elisha, and Tarshishah, Kittim, and Dodanim.
8 Los hijos de Cam: Cus, Mizrayin, Fut, y Canaán.
Sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9 Los hijos de Cus: Seba, Javilá, Sabta, Ragama y Sabteca. Los hijos de Ragama: Sabá y Dedán.
And sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecka. And sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
10 Cus fue el padre de Nimrod, que se convirtió en el primer tirano del mundo.
And Cush begot Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the land.
11 Mizrayin fue el padre de los ludeos, anameos, leabitas, naftuitas,
And Mizraim begot the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,
12 patruseos, caslujitas y los caftoritas (quienes eran antepasados de los filisteos).
and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim (from whom the Philistim came out), and the Caphtorim.
13 Canaán fue el padre Sidón, su primogénito, y de los hititas,
And Canaan begot Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,
14 jebuseos, amorreos, gergeseos,
and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
15 heveos, araceos, sineos,
and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
16 arvadeos, zemareos y jamatitas.

17 Los hijos de Sem: Elam, Asur, Arfaxad, Lud y Harán. Los hijos de Harán: Uz, Hul, Guéter, y Mésec.
Sons of Shem: Elam and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18 Arfaxad fue el padre de Selá, y Selá el padre de Éber.
And Arphaxad begot Shelah, and Shelah begot Eber.
19 Éber tuvo dos hijos. Uno se llamaba Peleg, porque en su tiempo la tierra fue dividida; el nombre de su hermano fue Joctán.
And two sons have been born to Eber, the name of the first [is] Peleg, for in his days the earth has been divided, and the name of his brother is Joktan.
20 Joctán fue el padre de Almodad, Sélef, Jazar Mávet, Yeraj,
And Joktan begot Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
21 Adoram, Uzal, Diclá,
and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
22 Obal, Abimael, Sabá,
and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23 Ofir, Javilá y Jobab. Todos estos fueron hijos de Joctán.
and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab; all these [are] sons of Joktan.
24 Sem, Arfaxad, Selá,
Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,
25 Éber, Peleg, Reú,
Eber, Peleg, Reu,
26 Serug, Nacor, Téraj,
Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27 y Abram (también llamado Abraham).
Abram—he [is] Abraham.
28 Los hijos de Abraham: Isaac e Ismael.
Sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.
29 Estos fueron sus descendientes: Nebayot, quien fue el hijo primogénito de Ismael, Cedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,
These [are] their generations: [the] firstborn of Ishmael [was] Nebaioth, then Kedar, and Adheel, and Mibsam,
30 Mismá, Dumá, Masá, Hadad, Temá,
Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
31 Jetur, Nafis y Cedema. Estos fueron los hijos de Ismael.
Jetur, Naphish, and Kedema. These are sons of Ishmael.
32 Los hijos que le nacieron a Cetura, la concubina de Abraham. Ella dio a luz a: Zimrán, Jocsán, Medán, Madián, Isbac y Súah. Los hijos de Jocsán: Sabá y Dedán.
And sons of Keturah, Abraham’s concubine: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.
33 Los hijos de Madián: Efá, Éfer, Janoc, Abidá y Eldá. Todos ellos fueron descendientes de Cetura.
And sons of Midian: Ephah and Epher, and Enoch, and Abida, and Eldaah; all these [are] sons of Keturah.
34 Abraham fue el padre de Isaac. Los hijos de Isaac fueron Esaú e Israel.
And Abraham begets Isaac. Sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.
35 Los hijos de Esaú: Elifaz, Reuel, Jeús, Jalán y Coré.
Sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.
36 Los hijos de Elifaz: Temán, Omar, Zefo, Gatán y Quenaz; además Amalec por medio de Timná.
Sons of Eliphaz: Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 Los hijos de Reuel: Najat, Zera, Sama y Mizá.
Sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38 Los hijos de Seír: Lotán, Sobal, Zibeón, Aná, Disón, Ezer y Disán.
And sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezar, and Dishan.
39 Los hijos de Lotán: Horí y Homán. La hermana de Lotán era Timná.
And sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam, and sister of Lotan [is] Timna.
40 Los hijos de Sobal: Alván, Manajat, Ebal, Sefó y Onam. Los hijos de Zibeón: Aja y Aná.
Sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And sons of Zideon: Aiah and Anah.
41 El hijo de Aná fue Disón. Los hijos de Dishón fueron Hemdán, Esbán, Itrán y Querán.
The sons of Anah: Dishon. And sons of Dishon: Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 Los hijos de Ezer: Bilán, Zaván y Acán. Los hijos de Disán: Uz y Arán.
Sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zavan, Jakan. Sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
43 Estos fueron los reyes que reinaron sobre Edom antes de que cualquier rey israelita reinara sobre ellos: Bela hijo de Beor, cuya ciudad se llamaba Dinaba.
And these [are] the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before the reigning of a king of the sons of Israel: Bela son of Beor, and the name of his city [is] Dinhabah.
44 Cuando murió Bela, Jobab hijo de Zera, proveniente de Bosra, asumió el reinado.
And Bela dies, and Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrali reigns in his stead;
45 Tras la muerte de Jobab, Husam asumió el reinado entonces, y era proveniente de la tierra de los Temanitas.
and Jobab dies, and Husham from the land of the Temanite reigns in his stead;
46 Cuando murió Husam, Hadad, hijo de Bedad, asumió el reinado. Él fue quien derrotó a Madián en el país de Moab. El nombre de su ciudad era Avit.
and Husham dies, and Hadad son of Bedad reigns in his stead (who strikes Midian in the field of Moab) and the name of his city [is] Avith;
47 Cuando murió Hadad, Samá, de Masreca, asumió el reinado.
and Hadad dies, and Samlah from Masrekah reigns in his stead;
48 Cuando murió Samá, Saúl, proveniente de Rehobot del río asumió el reinado.
and Samlah dies, and Shaul from Rehoboth of the River reigns in his stead;
49 Cuando murió Saúl, Baal-Hanán, hijo de Acbor, asumió el reinado.
and Shaul dies, and Ba‘al-Hanan son of Achbor reigns in his stead;
50 Cuando Baal-Hanán murió, Hadad reinó en su lugar. El nombre de su ciudad era Pau. El nombre de su esposa era Mehetabel, hija de Matred, nieta de Me-Zahab.
and Ba‘al-Hanan dies, and Hadad reigns in his stead, and the name of his city [is] Pai, and the name of his wife [is] Mehetabel daughter of Matred, daughter of Me-Zahab; Hadad also dies.
51 Entonces murió Hadad. Los jefes de Edom eran: Timná, Alva, Jetet,
And chiefs of Edom are: Chief Timnah, Chief Aliah, Chief Jetheth,
52 Aholibama, Ela, Pinón,
Chief Aholibamah, Chief Elah, Chief Pinon,
53 Quenaz, Temán, Mibzar,
Chief Kenaz, Chief Teman, Chief Mibzar,
54 Magdiel, e Iram. Estos eran los jefes de Edom.
Chief Magdiel, Chief Iram. These [are] chiefs of Edom.
