1 Crónicas 6

1 Los hijos de Levi: Gersón, Coat y Merari.

The sons of Levi were Gerson, Caath, and Merari.

2 Los hijos de Coat: Amram, Izhar, Hebrón y Uziel.

The sons of Caath: Amram, Isaar, Hebron, and Oziel.

3 Los hijos de Amram: Aarón, Moisés y Miriam. Los hijos de Aarón: Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.

The children of Amram: Aaron, Moses, and Mary. The sons of Aaron: Nadab and Abiu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

4 Eleazar fue el padre de Finehas. Finehas fue el padre de Abisúa.

Eleazar beget Phinees, and Phinees beget Abisue,

5 Abisúa fue el padre de Buqui. Buqui fue el padre de Uzi;

And Abisue beget Bocci, and Bocci begot Ozi.

6 Uzi fue el padre de Zeraías. Zeraías fue el padre de Meraioth.

Ozi beget Zaraias, and Zaraias beget Maraioth.

7 Meraiot fue el padre de Amarías. Amarías fue el padre de Ajitub.

And Maraioth beget Amarias, and Amarias beget Achitob.

8 Ajitub fue el padre de Sadok. Sadok fue el padre de Ahimaas.

Achitob beget Sadoc, and Sadoc begot Achimaas.

9 Ahimaas fue el padre de Azarías. Azarías fue el padre de Johanán.

Achimaas beget Azarias, Azarias begot Johanan,

10 Johanán fue el padre de Azarías (quien sirvió como sacerdote cuando Salomón construyó el Templo en Jerusalén).

Johanan beget Azarias. This is he that executed the priestly office in the house which Solomon built in Jerusalem.

11 Azarías fue el padre de Amarías. Amarías fue el padre de Ajitub.

And Azarias beget Amarias, and Amarias beget Achitob.

12 Ajitub fue el padre de Sadoc. Sadoc fue el padre de Salum.

And Achitob beget Sadoc, and Sadoc beget Sellum,

13 Salum fue el padre de Hilcías. Hilcías fue el padre de Azarías.

Sellum beget Helcias, and Helcias beget Azarias,

14 Azarías fue el padre de Seraías, y Seraías fue el padre de Josadac.

Azarias beget Saraias, and Saraias beget Josedec.

15 Josadac fue llevado al cautiverio cuando el Señor usó a Nabucodonosor para enviar a Judá y a Jerusalén al exilio.

Now Josedec went out, when the Lord carried away Juda, and Jerusalem, by the hands of Nabuchodonosor.

16 Los hijos de Leví: Gersón, Coat y Merari.

So the sons of Levi were Gerson, Caath, and Merari.

17 Estos son los nombres de los hijos de Gersón: Libni y Simei.

And these are the names of the sons of Gerson: Lobni and Semei.

18 Los hijos de Coat: Amram, Izhar, Hebrón y Uziel.

The sons of Caath: Amram, and Isaar, and Hebron, and Oziel.

19 Los hijos de Merari: Mahli y Musi. Estas son las familias de los levitas, que estaban ordenadas según sus padres:

The sons of Merari: Moholi and Musi. And these are the kindreds of Levi according to their families.

20 Los descendientes de Gersón: Libni su hijo, Jehat su hijo, Zima su hijo,

Of Gerson: Lobni his son, Jahath his son, Zamma his son,

21 Joa su hijo, Iddo su hijo, Zera su hijo y Jeatherai su hijo.

Joah his son, Addo his son, Zara his son, Jethrai his son.

22 Los descendientes de Coat: Aminadab su hijo; Coré su hijo; Asir su hijo,

The sons of Caath, Aminadab his son, Core his son, Asir his son,

23 Elcana su hijo; Ebiasaf su hijo; Asir su hijo;

Elcana his son, Abiasaph his son, Asir his son,

24 Tahat su hijo; Uriel su hijo; Uzías su hijo, y Saúl su hijo.

Thahath his son, Uriel his son, Ozias his son, Saul his son.

25 Los descendientes de Elcana: Amasai, Ahimot,

The sons of Elcana: Amasai, and Achimoth.

26 Elcana su hijo; Zofai su hijo; Nahat su hijo;

And Elcana. The sons of Elcana: Sophai his son, Nahath his son,

27 Eliab su hijo, Jeroham su hijo; Elcana su hijo, y Samuel su hijo.

Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elcana his son.

28 Los hijos de Samuel: Joel (primogénito) y Abías (el segundo).

The sons of Samuel: the firstborn Vasseni, and Abia.

29 Los descendientes de Merari: Mahli, su hijo Libni, su hijo Simei, su hijo Uza,

And the sons of Merari, Moholi: Lobni his son, Semei his son, Oza his son,

30 su hijo Simea, su hijo Haguía y su hijo Asaías.

Sammaa his son, Haggia his son, Asaia his son.

31 Estos son los músicos que David designó para dirigir la música en la casa del Señor una vez que el Arca fuera colocada allí.

These are they, whom David set over the singing men of the house of the Lord, after that the ark was placed:

32 Ellos dirigieron la música y el canto ante el Tabernáculo, la Tienda de Reunión, hasta que Salomón construyó el Templo del Señor en Jerusalén. Servían siguiendo el reglamento que se les había dado.

And they ministered before the tabernacle of the testimony, with singing, until Solomon built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem, and they stood according to their order in the ministry.

And these are they that stood with their sons, of the sons of Caath, Hemam a singer, the son of Joel, the son of Sammuel,

34 hijo de Elcana, hijo de Jeroham, hijo de Eliel, hijo de Toa,

The son of Elcana, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Thohu,

35 hijo de Zuf, ehijo de Elcana, hijo de Mahat, hijo de Amasai,

The son of Suph, the son of Elcana, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,

36 hijo de Elcana, hijo de Joel, hijo de Azarías, hijo de Sofonías,

The son of Elcana, the son of Johel, the son of Azarias, the son of Sophonias,

37 hijo de Tahat, hijo de Asir, hijo de Ebiasaf, hijo de Coré,

The son of Thahath, the son of Asir, the son or Abiasaph, the son of Core,

38 hijo de Izhar, hijo de Coat, hijo de Leví, hijo de Israel.

The son of Isaar, the son of Caath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.

39 Asaf, pariente de Hemán, que servía junto a él a la derecha: Asaf hijo de Berequías, hijo de Simea,

And his brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand, Asaph the son of Barachias, the son of Samaa.

40 hijo de Miguel, hijo de Baasías, hijo de Malaquías,

The son of Michael, the son of Basaia, the son of Melchia.

41 hijo de Etni, hijo de Zera, hijo de Adaías,

The son of Athanai, the son of Zara, the son of Adaia.

42 hijo de Etán, hijo de Zima, hijo de Simei,

The son of Ethan, the son of Zamma, the son of Semei.

43 hijo de Jahat, hijo de Gersón, hijo de Leví.

The son of Jeth, the son of Gerson, the son of Levi.

44 A la izquierda de Hemán sirvieron los hijos de Merari: Etán hijo de Quisi, el hijo de Abdi, hijo de Malluch,

And the sons of Merari their brethren, on the left hand, Ethan the son of Cusi, the son of Abdi, the son of Meloch,

45 hijo de Hasabiah, hijo de Amasías, hijo de Hilcías,

The son of Hasabia, the son of Amasai, the son of Helcias,

46 hijo de Amzi, hijo de Bani, hijo de Semer,

The son of Amasai, the son of Boni, the son of Somer,

47 hijo de Mahli, hijo de Musi, hijo de Merari, hijo de Levi.

The son of Moholi, the son of Mud, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

48 Los demás levitas desempeñaban todas las demás funciones en el Tabernáculo, la casa de Dios.

Their brethren also the Levites, who were appointed for all the ministry of the tabernacle of the house of the Lord.

49 Sin embargo, eran Aarón y sus descendientes quienes daban ofrendas en el altar de los holocaustos y en el altar del incienso y hacían todo el trabajo en el Lugar Santísimo, haciendo la expiación por Israel según todo lo que había ordenado Moisés, el siervo de Dios.

But Aaron and his sons offered burnt offerings upon the altar of holocausts, and upon the altar of incense, for very work of the holy of holies: and to pray for Israel according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

50 Los descendientes de Aarón fueron: Eleazar su hijo, Finees su hijo, Abisúa su hijo,

And these are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinees his son, Abisue his son,

51 Buqui su hijo, Uzi su hijo, Zeraías su hijo,

Bocci his son, Ozi his son, Zarahia his son,

52 Meraioth su hijo, Amariah su hijo, Ahitub su hijo,

Meraioth his son, Amarias his son, Achitob his son,

53 Zadok su hijo, y su hijo Ahimaas.

Sadoc his son, Achimaas his son.

54 Estos fueron los lugares que se les dieron para vivir como territorio asignado a los descendientes de Aarón, comenzando por el clan coatita, porque el suyo fue el primer lote:

And these are their dwelling places by the towns and confines, to wit, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Caathites: for they fell to them by lot.

55 Recibieron Hebrón, en Judá, junto con los pastos que la rodean.

And they gave them Hebron in the land of Juda, and the suburbs thereof round about:

56 Pero los campos y las aldeas cercanas a la ciudad fueron entregados a Caleb hijo de Jefone.

But the fields of the city, and the villages to Caleb son of Jephone.

57 Así, los descendientes de Aarón recibieron Hebrón, una ciudad de refugio, Libna, Jatir, Estemoa,

And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities for refuge Hebron, and Lobna, and the suburbs thereof,

58 Hilén, Debir,

And Jether and Esthemo, with their suburbs, and Helon, and Dabir with their suburbs:

59 Asán, Juta y Bet Semes, junto con sus pastizales.

Asan also, and Bethsames, with their suburbs.

60 De la tribu de Benjamín recibieron Gabaón, Geba, Alemeth y Anathoth, junto con sus pastizales. Tenían un total de trece ciudades entre sus familias.

And out of the tribe of Benjamin: Gabee and its suburbs, Almath with its suburbs, Anathoth also with its suburbs: all their cities throughout their families were thirteen.

61 Los demás descendientes de Coat recibieron por sorteo diez ciudades de la media tribu de Manasés.

And to the sons of Caath that remained of their kindred they gave out of the half tribe of Manasses ten cities in possession.

62 Los descendientes de Gersón, por familia, recibieron trece ciudades de las tribus de Isacar, Aser y Neftalí, y de la media tribu de Manasés en Basán.

And to the sons of Gerson by their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Aser, and out of the tribe of Nephtali, and out of the tribe of Manasses in Basan, thirteen cities.

63 Los descendientes de Merari, por familia, recibieron doce ciudades de las tribus de Rubén, Gad y Zabulón.

And to the sons of Merari by their families out of the tribe of Ruben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zabulon, they gave by lot twelve cities.

64 El pueblo de Israel dio a los levitas estas ciudades y sus pastizales.

And the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities, and their suburbs.

65 A las ciudades ya mencionadas les asignaron por nombre las de las tribus de Judá, Simeón y Benjamín.

And they gave them by lot, out of the tribe of the sons of Juda, and out of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, these cities which they called by their names.

66 Algunas de las familias coatitas recibieron como territorio ciudades de la tribu de Efraín.

And to them that were of the kindred of the sons of Caath, and the cities in their borders were of the tribe of Ephraim.

67 Se les dio Siquem, una ciudad de refugio, en la región montañosa de Efraín, Gezer,

And they gave the cities of refuge Sichem with its suburbs in mount Ephraim, and Gazer with its suburbs,

68 Jocmeán, Bet-Horon,

Jecmaan also with its suburbs, and Beth-horon in like manner,

69 Aijalon y Gat Rimmon, junto con sus pastizales.

Helon also with its suburbs, and Gethremmon in like manner,

70 De la mitad de la tribu de Manasés, el pueblo de Israel dio Aner y Bileam, junto con sus pastizales, al resto de las familias coatitas.

And out of the half tribe of Manasses, Aner and its suburbs, Baalam and its suburbs: to wit, to them that were left of the family of the sons of Caath.

71 Los descendientes de Gersón recibieron lo siguiente. De la familia de la media tribu de Manasés Golán en Basán, y Astarot, junto con sus pastizales;

And to the sons of Gersom, out of the kindred of the half tribe of Manasses, Gaulon, in Basan, and its suburbs, and Astharoth with its suburbs.

72 de la tribu de Isacar: Cedes, Daberat,

Out of the tribe of Issachar, Cedes and its suburbs, and Dabereth with its suburbs;

73 Ramot y Anem, junto con sus pastizales;

Ramoth also and its suburbs, and Anem with its suburbs.

74 de la tribu de Aser: Masal, Abdón,

And out of the tribe of Aser: Masal with its suburbs, and Abdon in like manner;

75 Hucoc y Rehob, junto con sus pastizales;

Hucac also and its suburbs, and Rohol with its suburbs.

76 y de la tribu de Neftalí: Cedes en Galilea, Hamón y Quiriatím, con sus pastizales.

And out of the tribe of Nephtali, Cedes in Galilee and its suburbs, Hamon with its suburbs, and Cariathaim, and its suburbs.

77 Los demás descendientes de Merari recibieron lo siguiente. De la tribu de Zabulón Jocneam, Carta, Rimón y Tabor, con sus pastizales;

And to the sons of Merari that remained: out of the tribe of Zabulon, Remmono and its suburbs, and Thabor with its suburbs.

78 de la tribu de Rubén, al este del Jordán, frente a Jericó: Beser (en el desierto), Jahzá,

Beyond the Jordan also over against Jericho, on the east side of the Jordan, out of the tribe of Ruben, Bosor in the wilderness with its suburbs, and Jassa with its suburbs;

79 Cedemot y Mefat, con sus pastizales

Cademoth also and its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs;

80 y de la tribu de Gad: Ramot de Galaad, Mahanaim,

Moreover also out of the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Galaad and its suburbs, and Manaim with its suburbs;

81 Hesbón y Jazer, con sus pastizales.

Hesebon also with its suburbs, and Jazer with its suburbs.
