1 Esta es una lista de las divisiones de los porteros. De los corasitas: Meselemías hijo de Coré, uno de Los hijos de Asaf.
Now the divisions of the porters were, from the Korahites: Meshelemiah, the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.
2 Los hijos de Meselemías: Zacarías (el mayor), Jediael (el segundo), Zebadías (el tercero), Jatniel (el cuarto),
The sons of Meshelemiah: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,
3 Elam (el quinto), Johanán (el sexto) y Elioenai (el séptimo).
Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliehoenai the seventh.
4 Los hijos de Obed-edom: Semaías (el mayor), Jozabad (el segundo), Joa (el tercero), Sacar (el cuarto), Natanel (el quinto),
Then the sons of Obededom: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, Sachar the fourth, Nethanel the fifth,
5 Ammiel (el sexto), Isacar (el séptimo) y Peuletai (el octavo), porque Dios había bendecido a Obed-edom.
Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peullethai the eighth. For the Lord had blessed him.
6 Semaías, hijo de Obed-edom, tenía hijos que eran líderes capaces y tenían gran autoridad en la familia de su padre.
Now to his son Shemaiah, there were born sons, rulers of their families. For they were very strong men.
7 Los hijos de Semaías: Othni, Refael, Obed y Elzabad. Sus parientes, Elihú y Semaquías, también eran hombres capaces.
Then the sons of Shemaiah were Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad and his brothers, very strong men, as well as Elihu and Semachiah.
8 Todos estos descendientes de Obed-edom, más sus hijos y nietos, un total de sesenta y dos, eran hombres capaces, bien calificados para su servicio.
All these were from the sons of Obededom: they and their sons and brothers, very fit for the ministry, sixty-two from Obededom.
9 Los dieciocho hijos y hermanos de Meselemías también eran hombres capaces.
Then there were the sons of Meshelemiah and their brothers, very robust men, eighteen.
10 Hosa, uno de los hijos de Merari, puso a Simri como líder entre sus hijos, aunque no era el primogénito.
Now, from Hosah, that is, from the sons of Merari: Shimri the leader, for he had not had a firstborn son, and so, because of this, his father had appointed him as the leader,
11 Entre sus otros hijos estaban Hilcías (el segundo), Tebalías (el tercero) y Zacarías (el cuarto). El total de los hijos y parientes de Osa era de trece.
Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth. All these, the sons and brothers of Hosah, were thirteen.
12 Estas divisiones de los porteros, a través de sus jefes de familia, servían en la casa del Señor, al igual que sus hermanos.
These were distributed as porters, so that the leaders of the posts, as well as their brothers, were ministering continually in the house of the Lord.
13 Cada puerta fue asignada por sorteo a diferentes familias, la menos importante igual a la más importante.
Then they cast lots equally, for both the small and the great, by their families, concerning each one of the gates.
14 La suerte de la puerta oriental recayó en Meselemías. Entonces echaron suertes sobre su hijo Zacarías, consejero sabio y perspicaz, y la suerte de la puerta del norte le correspondió a él.
And the lot of the east fell out to Shelemiah. But to his son Zechariah, a very prudent and learned man, the northern section was obtained by lot.
15 La suerte de la puerta del sur correspondió a Obed-edom, y la del almacén a sus hijos.
Truly, Obededom and his sons obtained that to the south, in the part of the house where the council of elders was.
16 Supim y Hosa recibieron la puerta del oeste y la puerta de Salet en el camino que sube. Estaban siempre vigiladas.
Shuppim and Hosah obtained that toward the west, beside the gate that leads to the way of the ascent, one post facing the other.
17 Había seis levitas de servicio cada día en la puerta oriental, cuatro en la puerta norte, cuatro en la puerta sur y dos a la vez en el almacén.
Truly, toward the east there were six Levites, and toward the north there were four per day, and then toward the south similarly there were four each day. And where the council was, there were two and two.
18 Seis estaban de servicio todos los días en la puerta oeste, cuatro en el camino principal y dos en el patio.
Also, in the cells of the porters toward the west, there were four along the way, and two at every cell.
19 Estas eran las divisiones de los porteros de Los hijos de Coré y Los hijos de Merari.
These are the divisions of the porters of the sons of Kohath and of Merari.
20 Otros levitas bajo el mando de Ahías estaban a cargo de los tesoros de la casa de Dios y de los tesoros de lo que había sido dedicado a Dios.
Now Ahijah was over the treasuries of the house of God, and the holy vessels.
21 De Los hijos de Ladán, que eran los descendientes de los gersonitas a través de Ladán, y eran los jefes de familia de Ladán el gersonita: Jehieli.
The sons of Ladan, sons of Gershon: from Ladan, leaders of the families of Ladan and of Gershon: Jehieli.

The sons of Jehieli: Zetham and Joel; his brothers were over the treasuries of the house of the Lord,
23 De los amramitas, los izaritas, los hebronitas y los uzielitas:
with the Amramites, and Izharites, and Hebronites, and Uzzielites.
24 Sebuel, descendiente de Gersón, hijo de Moisés, era el principal encargado de los tesoros.
Now, Shebuel, the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was in the first place over the treasuries,
25 Sus parientes por parte de Eliezer fueron Rehabías, Jesaías, Joram, Zicri y Selomot.
along with his brothers, Eliezer, and his son Rehabiah, and his son Jeshaiah, and his son Joram, and also his son Zichri, and his son Shelomoth.
26 Selomot y sus parientes estaban a cargo de todos los tesoros de todo lo que había sido dedicado por el rey David, por los jefes de familia que eran los comandantes de millares y de centenas, y por los comandantes del ejército.
The same Shelomoth and his brothers were over the treasuries of the holy things, which king David sanctified, with the leaders of the families, and the tribunes, and the centurions, and the commanders of the army.
27 Dedicaron una parte del botín que habían ganado en la batalla para ayudar a mantener la casa del Señor.
These things were from the wars and from the best spoils of the battles, which they had consecrated for the repair and the furnishing of the temple of the Lord.
28 Selomot y sus parientes también se encargaron de las ofrendas dedicadas al Señor por Samuel el vidente, Saúl hijo de Cis, Abner hijo de Ner y Joab hijo de Sarvia. Todas las ofrendas dedicadas eran responsabilidad de Selomot y sus parientes.
Now all these things were sanctified by Samuel, the seer, and by Saul, the son of Kish, and by Abner, the son of Ner, and by Joab, the son of Zeruiah. All those who had sanctified these were under the hand of Shelomoth and his brothers.
29 De los izaritas: Quenanías y sus hijos recibieron funciones externas como funcionarios y jueces sobre Israel.
Yet truly, Chenaniah and his sons were over the Izharites, for the exterior works concerning Israel, in order to teach and to judge them.
30 De los hebronitas: Hasabías y sus parientes, 1.700 hombres capaces, fueron puestos a cargo del Israel al oeste del Jordán, responsables de todo lo relacionado con la obra del Señor y el servicio del rey.
Now from the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brothers, one thousand seven hundred very strong men, were in charge of Israel across the Jordan toward the west, in all the works of the Lord, and in the ministry of the king.
31 También de los hebronitas salió Jericó, el líder de los hebronitas según las genealogías familiares. En el año cuarenta del reinado de David se examinaron los registros, y se descubrieron hombres de gran capacidad en Jazer de Galaad.
And the leader of the Hebronites was Jerijah, according to their families and kindred. In the fortieth year of the reign of David, they were numbered, and there were found very strong men in Jazer Gilead.
32 Entre los parientes de Jericó había 2.700 hombres capaces que eran líderes familiares. El rey David los puso a cargo de las tribus de Rubén y Gad y de la media tribu de Manasés. Eran responsables de todo lo relacionado con la obra del Señor y el servicio del rey.
And his brothers of a mature age were two thousand seven hundred leaders of families. Then king David placed them in charge of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the one half tribe of Manasseh, in all of the ministries of God and of the king.
