Salmos 99

1 Reina Yahvé, tiemblan los pueblos. Sentado se ha sobre los querubines; se conmueve la tierra.

Adonai reigns! Let the peoples tremble. He sits enthroned among the cherubim. Let the earth be moved.

2 Grande es Yahvé en Sión, y excelso sobre todos los pueblos.

Adonai is great in Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking]. He is high above all the peoples.

3 Celebrado sea tu Nombre, grande y tremendo: ¡Santo es!

Let them yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to your great and awesome name. He is Holy!

4 Y sea el honor para el Rey que ama la justicia. Tú has establecido lo que es recto; Tú ejerces la justicia y el imperio en Jacob.

The King’s strength also 'ahav ·affectionately loves· mishpat ·justice·. You do establish equity. You execute mishpat ·justice· and righteousness in Jacob [Supplanter].

5 Ensalzad a Yahvé nuestro Dios, y ante el escabel de sus pies, postraos: ¡Santo es!

Exalt Yahweh Eloheikhem [Yahweh our God]. Hawa ·Bow low, prostrate· to worship at his footstool. He is Holy!

6 Moisés y Aarón están entre sus sacerdotes, y Samuel entre los que invocan su Nombre; invocaban a Yahvé y Él los escuchaba.

Moses [Drawn out] and Aaron [Light-bringer] were among his priests, Samuel among those who call on his name; they called on Adonai, and he answered them.

7 En la columna de nubes les hablaba; oían sus mandamientos, y la Ley que les dio.

He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud. They kept his testimonies, the statute that he gave them.

8 Oh Yahvé Dios nuestro, Tú los escuchaste; fuiste para ellos un Dios propicio, bien que castigaste sus infracciones.

You answered them, Yahweh Eloheikhem [Yahweh our God]. You are a God who forgave them, although you took vengeance for their doings.

9 Ensalzad a Yahvé nuestro Dios, y postraos ante su santo monte, porque Santo es Yahvé, Dios nuestro.

Exalt Adonai, our God. Hawa ·Bow low, prostrate· to worship at his holy hill, for Adonai, our God, is holy!
