Salmos 87

1 De los hijos de Coré. Salmo. Cántico. ¡Él la fundó sobre los montes santos!

“A psalm of the sons of Korah.” His foundation is in the holy mountains;

2 Yahvé ama las puertas de Sión más que todos los tabernáculos de Jacob.

Jehovah loveth the gates of Zion More than all the dwellings of Jacob.

3 ¡Oh ciudad de Dios, de ti se dicen cosas gloriosas!

Glorious things are said of thee, O city of God! (Pause)

4 “Contaré a Rahab y a Babel entre los que me conocen; he aquí a Filistea y a Tiro y al pueblo de los etíopes: han nacido allí.”

“I name Egypt and Babylon among them that know me; Behold! Philistia, Tyre, and Ethiopia, —They also were born there.”

5 Así se dirá de Sión: “Uno por uno, todos han nacido en ella, y es el mismo Altísimo quien la consolidó.”

And of Zion it shall be said, “Men of every nation were born there, And the Most High hath established her.”

6 Y en el libro de los pueblos, Yahvé escribirá: “Estos nacieron allí.”

Jehovah, when he numbereth the nations, shall write, “These were born there!” (Pause)

7 Y cantarán danzando: “Todas mis fuentes están en Ti.”

Singers as well as dancers, —All my springs are in thee!
