Salmos 69

1 Al maestro de coro. Por el tono de “Los lirios”. De David. ¡Sálvame, oh Dios! porque las aguas me han llegado al cuello.

To him that excelleth upon Shoshannim. A Psalme of David. Save mee, O God: for the waters are entred euen to my soule.

2 Estoy sumergido en lo hondo del fango, y no hay donde hacer pie; he caído en aguas profundas y me arrastra la corriente.

I sticke fast in the deepe myre, where no staie is: I am come into deepe waters, and the streames runne ouer me.

3 Me he cansado de llamar, mi garganta ha enronquecido, han desfallecido mis ojos esperando a mi Dios.

I am wearie of crying: my throte is drie: mine eyes faile, whiles I waite for my God.

4 Más que los cabellos de mi cabeza son los que sin causa me odian. Son demasiado poderosos para mis fuerzas los que injustamente me hostilizan, y tengo que devolver lo que no he robado.

They that hate mee without a cause, are moe then the heares of mine heade: they that would destroy mee, and are mine enemies falsly, are mightie, so that I restored that which I tooke not.

5 Tú, oh Dios, conoces mi insensatez y mis pecados no te están ocultos.

O God, thou knowest my foolishnesse, and my fautes are not hid from thee.

6 No sean confundidos por mi causa los que esperan en Ti, oh Señor, Yahvé de los ejércitos. Que no se avergüencen de mí quienes te buscan, oh Dios de Israel.

Let not them that trust in thee, O Lord God of hostes, be ashamed for me: let not those that seeke thee, be confounded through mee, O God of Israel.

7 Es por tu causa si he sufrido oprobio y mi rostro se ha cubierto de confusión.

For thy sake haue I suffred reproofe: shame hath couered my face.

8 He venido a ser un extraño para mis hermanos; los hijos de mi madre no me conocen,

I am become a stranger vnto my brethren, euen an aliant vnto my mothers sonnes.

9 porque me devora el celo de tu casa, y los baldones de los que te ultrajan cayeron sobre mí.

For the zeale of thine house hath eaten mee, and the rebukes of them that rebuked thee, are fallen vpon me.

10 Me afligí con ayuno, y se me convirtió en vituperio.

I wept and my soule fasted, but that was to my reproofe.

11 Me vestí de cilicio, y vine a ser la fábula de ellos.

I put on a sacke also: and I became a prouerbe vnto them.

12 Murmuran contra mí los que se sientan a la puerta, y los bebedores me hacen coplas.

They that sate in the gate, spake of mee, and the drunkards sang of me.

13 Mas yo dirijo a Ti mi oración, oh Yahvé, en tiempo favorable, oh Dios, escúchame según la grandeza de tu bondad, según la fidelidad de tu socorro.

But Lord, I make my praier vnto thee in an acceptable time, euen in the multitude of thy mercie: O God, heare me in the trueth of thy saluation.

14 Sácame del lodo, no sea que me sumerja. Líbrame de los que me odian y de la hondura de las aguas.

Deliuer mee out of the myre, that I sinke not: let me be deliuered from them that hate me, and out of the deepe waters.

15 No me arrastre la corriente de las aguas, ni me trague el abismo, ni el pozo cierre sobre mí su boca.

Let not the water flood drowne mee, neither let the deepe swallowe me vp: and let not the pit shut her mouth vpon me.

16 Escúchame, Yahvé, porque tu gracia es benigna; mírame con la abundancia de tu misericordia;

Heare me, O Lord, for thy louing kindnes is good: turne vnto me according to ye multitude of thy tender mercies.

17 no escondas tu rostro a tu siervo, escúchame pronto porque estoy en angustias.

And hide not thy face from thy seruant, for I am in trouble: make haste and heare me.

18 Acércate a mi alma y rescátala; por causa de mis enemigos, líbrame.

Draw neere vnto my soule and redeeme it: deliuer me because of mine enemies.

19 Bien conoces Tú mi afrenta, mi confusión y mi ignominia; a tu vista están todos los que me atribulan.

Thou hast knowen my reproofe and my shame, and my dishonour: all mine aduersaries are before thee.

20 El oprobio me ha quebrantado el corazón y titubeo; esperé que alguien se compadeciera de mí, y no lo hubo; y que alguno me consolara, mas no le hallé.

Rebuke hath broken mine heart, and I am full of heauinesse, and I looked for some to haue pitie on me, but there was none: and for comforters, but I found none.

21 Por comida me ofrecieron hiel; y para mi sed me dieron a beber vinagre.

For they gaue me gall in my meate, and in my thirst they gaue me vineger to drinke.

22 Conviértaseles su mesa en lazo y su holocausto en tropiezo.

Let their table be a snare before them, and their prosperitie their ruine.

23 Obscurézcanse sus ojos para que no vean; y encorva siempre sus espaldas.

Let their eyes be blinded that they see not: and make their loynes alway to tremble.

24 Vierte sobre ellos tu indignación, y alcánceles el ardor de tu ira.

Powre out thine anger vpon them, and let thy wrathfull displeasure take them.

25 Devastada quede su casa, y no haya quien habite en sus tiendas.

Let their habitation be voide, and let none dwell in their tents.

26 Por cuanto persiguieron a aquel que Tú heriste, aumentaron el dolor de aquel que Tú llagaste.

For they persecute him, whome thou hast smitten: and they adde vnto the sorrowe of them, whome thou hast wounded.

27 Añádeles iniquidad a su iniquidad, y no acierten con tu justicia.

Laie iniquitie vpon their iniquitie, and let them not come into thy righteousnesse.

28 Sean borrados del libro de la vida, y no estén escritos con los justos.

Let them be put out of the booke of life, neither let them be written with the righteous.

29 Yo soy miserable y doliente, mas tu auxilio, oh Dios, me defenderá.

When I am poore and in heauinesse, thine helpe, O God, shall exalt me.

30 Alabaré el nombre de Dios en un cántico, le ensalzaré en un himno de gratitud;

I will praise the Name of God with a song, and magnifie him with thankesgiuing.

31 y agradará a Yahvé más que un toro, más que un novillo con sus cuernos y pezuñas.

This also shall please the Lord better then a yong bullocke, that hath hornes and hoofes.

32 Vedlo, oh humildes, y alegraos, y reviva el corazón de los que buscáis a Dios.

The humble shall see this, and they that seeke God, shalbe glad, and your heart shall liue.

33 Porque Yahvé escucha a los pobres, y no desprecia a sus cautivos.

For the Lord heareth the poore, and despiseth not his prisoners.

34 Alábenlo los cielos y la tierra, los mares y cuanto en ellos se mueve.

Let heauen and earth praise him: the seas and all that moueth in them.

35 Porque Dios salvará a Sión, y reedificará las ciudades de Judá; y habitarán allí, y tomarán posesión de ella.

For God will saue Zion, and builde the cities of Iudah, that men may dwell there and haue it in possession.

36 La heredarán los descendientes de sus siervos, y morarán en ella los que aman su Nombre.

The seede also of his seruants shall inherit it: and they that loue his name, shall dwel therein.
