Salmos 47

1 Al maestro de coro. De los hijos de Coré. Salmo. Pueblos todos, batid palmas; aclamad a Dios con cantos de júbilo;

[For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by the sons of Korah.] Oh clap your hands, all you nations. Shout to God with the voice of triumph.

2 porque el Señor Altísimo, terrible, es el gran Rey sobre toda la tierra.

For the LORD Most High is awesome. He is a great King over all the earth.

3 Él ha sometido los pueblos a nosotros y a nuestros pies las naciones.

He subdues nations under us, and peoples under our feet.

4 Él nos eligió nuestra heredad, gloria de Jacob, su amado.

He chooses our inheritance for us, the glory of Jacob whom he loved. (Selah)

5 Sube Dios entre voces de júbilo, Yahvé con sonido de trompeta.

God has gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.

6 Cantad a Dios, cantad; cantad a nuestro Rey, cantadle.

Sing praise to God, sing praises. Sing praises to our King, sing praises.

7 Porque Dios es rey sobre toda la tierra; cantadle un himno.

For God is the King of all the earth. Sing praises with understanding.

8 Dios reina ya sobre todas las naciones; Dios se ha sentado sobre su santo trono.

God reigns over the nations. God sits on his holy throne.

9 Los príncipes de los pueblos se han unido al pueblo del Dios de Abrahán, pues los poderosos de la tierra se han dado a Dios. Él domina desde lo más alto.

The princes of the peoples are gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God. He is greatly exalted.
