Salmos 148

1 ¡Hallelú Yah! Alabad a Yahvé desde los cielos, alabadlo en las alturas.

Alleluia, [a Psalm] of Aggaeus and Zacharias. Praise you the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the highest.

2 Ángeles suyos, alabadlo todos; alabadle todos, ejércitos suyos.

Praise you him, all his angels: praise you him, all his hosts.

3 Alabadle, sol y luna; lucientes astros, alabadle todos.

Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you stars and light.

4 Alabadle, cielos de los cielos y aguas que estáis sobre los cielos:

Praise him, you heavens of heavens, and the water that is above the heavens.

5 alaben el Nombre de Yahvé, porque Él lo mandó, y fueron creados.

Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he spoke, and they were made; he commanded, and they were created.

6 Él los estableció para siempre y por los siglos; dio un decreto que no será transgredido.

He has established them for ever, even for ever and ever: he has made an ordinance, and it shall not pass away.

7 Alabad a Yahvé desde la tierra, monstruos marinos y todos los abismos;

Praise the Lord from the earth, you serpents, and all deeps.

8 fuego y granizo, nieve y nieblas, vientos tempestuosos, que ejecutáis sus órdenes;

Fire, hail, snow, ice, stormy wind; the things that perform his word.

9 montes y collados todos, árboles frutales y todos los cedros;

Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

10 bestias salvajes y todos los ganados, reptiles y volátiles;

wild beasts, and all cattle; reptiles, and winged birds:

11 reyes de la tierra y pueblos todos, príncipes y jueces todos de la tierra;

kings of the earth, and all peoples; princes, and all judges of the earth:

12 los jóvenes y también las doncellas, los ancianos junto con los niños.

young men and virgins, old men with youths:

13 Alaben el Nombre de Yahvé, porque solo su Nombre es digno de alabanza; su majestad domina la tierra y los cielos.

let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name only is exalted; his praise is above the earth and heaven,

14 Él ha encumbrado el cuerno de su pueblo. Para Él es la alabanza de todos sus santos, los hijos de Israel, el pueblo familiar suyo. ¡Hallelú Yah!

and he shall exalt the horn of his people, [there is] a hymn for all his saints, [even] of the children of Israel, a people who draw near to him.
