Salmos 146

1 ¡HalIelú Yah! Alaba a Yahvé, alma mía.

Praise ye Yah, Praise, O my soul, Yahweh.

2 Toda mi vida alabaré a Yahvé; cantaré salmos a mi Dios mientras yo viva.

I will praise Yahweh while I live! I will make melody to my God while I continue!

3 No pongáis vuestra confianza en los príncipes, en un hijo de hombre, que no puede salvar.

Do not ye trust in nobles, in a son of man who hath no deliverance:

4 Apenas el soplo le abandona, él vuelve a su polvo, y entonces se acaban todos sus designios.

His spirit, goeth forth, he returneth to his ground, In that very day, his thoughts perish.

5 Dichoso en cambio quien tiene en su ayuda al Dios de Jacob, y pone su esperanza en Yahvé, su Dios,

How happy is he that hath the GOD of Jacob as his help, whose hope, is on Yahweh his God: —

6 Creador del cielo y de la tierra, del mar y de cuanto contienen. Él conserva siempre su fidelidad;

Who made The heavens and the earth, The sea and all that is therein, Who keepeth faithfulness to times age-abiding:

7 hace justicia a los oprimidos, y da pan a los hambrientos. Es Yahvé quien desata a los cautivos;

Who executeth justice for the oppressed, who giveth food to the famishing, Yahweh, who liberateth prisoners;

8 es Yahvé quien abre los ojos de los ciegos; Yahvé levanta a los agobiados; Yahvé ama a los justos;

Yahweh, who opened [the eyes of] the blind, Yahweh, who raiseth the prostrate, Yahweh, who loveth the righteous;

9 Yahvé cuida de los peregrinos; sustenta al huérfano y a la viuda, y trastorna los caminos de los malvados.

Yahweh, who preserveth sojourners, The fatherless and widows, he relieveth, —but, the way of the lawless, he overturneth.

10 Reinará Yahvé para siempre, el Dios tuyo, oh Sión, de edad en edad. ¡HalIelú Yah!

Yahweh, will reign, to times age-abiding, Thy God, O Zion, to generation after generation. Praise ye Yah!
