Salmos 125

1 Cántico gradual. Los que confían en Yahvé son como el monte Sión, que no será conmovido y permanecerá eternamente.

A Song of degrees. They that trust in the LORD, [shall be] as mount Zion, [which] cannot be removed, [but] abideth for ever.

2 Como Jerusalén está rodeada de montes, así Yahvé rodea a su pueblo, ahora y para siempre.

[As] the mountains [are] round Jerusalem, so the LORD [is] around his people from henceforth even for ever.

3 No permanecerá, pues, el cetro de los impíos sobre la heredad de los justos; no sea que también los justos extiendan sus manos hacia la iniquidad.

For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands to iniquity.

4 Oh Yahvé, derrama tus favores sobre los buenos y rectos de corazón.

Do good, O LORD, to [those that] are good, and to [them that are] upright in their hearts.

5 Pero a los que se desvían por senderos tortuosos échelos Yahvé con los obradores de iniquidad. ¡Paz sobre Israel!

As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: [but] peace [shall be] upon Israel.
