Números 34
1 Yahvé habló a Moisés diciendo:
The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “Manda a los hijos de Israel y diles: Entrado que hubiereis en la tierra de Canaán, esa tierra que os tocará en herencia, serán sus fronteras las siguientes:
“Command the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you come into the land of Canaan (this is the land that shall fall to you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to its borders),
3 Vuestro lado meridional se extenderá desde el desierto de Sin a lo largo del costado de Edom. Por oriente vuestra frontera meridional arrancará desde el extremo del Mar Salado.
then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom, and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward.
4 Luego vuestra frontera torcerá al sur, por la subida de Acrabim y pasará adelante hacia Sin, hasta llegar al sur de Cadesbarnea. De allí irá a Hasaradar y seguirá hacia Asmón.
Your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and it shall pass southward of Kadesh Barnea; and it shall go from there to Hazar Addar, and pass along to Azmon.
5 Desde Asmón la frontera se inclinará hacia el arroyo de Egipto y llegará al Mar.
The border shall turn about from Azmon to the brook of Egypt, and it shall end at the sea.
6 Vuestra frontera occidental será el Mar grande. Este os servirá de frontera occidental.
“‘For the western border, you shall have the great sea and its border. This shall be your west border.
7 Vuestra frontera septentrional será esta: Desde el Mar grande la trazaréis hasta el monte Hor.
“‘This shall be your north border: from the great sea you shall mark out for yourselves Mount Hor.
8 Desde el monte Hor la continuaréis hasta la entrada de Hamat, llegando hasta Sedad;
From Mount Hor you shall mark out to the entrance of Hamath; and the border shall pass by Zedad.
9 seguirá hasta Sefrón, y terminará en Hasar-Enán. Esta será vuestra frontera septentrional.
Then the border shall go to Ziphron, and it shall end at Hazar Enan. This shall be your north border.
10 La frontera oriental os la trazaréis de Hasar-Enán hacia Sefam.
“‘You shall mark out your east border from Hazar Enan to Shepham.
11 De Sefam bajará la frontera a Riblá, al oriente de Ayin, de donde descenderá y flanqueará el costado oriental del Mar de Kinéret.
The border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain. The border shall go down, and shall reach to the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward.
12 Luego la frontera descenderá hasta el Jordán, y llegará hasta el Mar Salado. Esta será vuestra tierra y sus fronteras a la redonda.”
The border shall go down to the Jordan, and end at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to its borders around it.’”
13 Moisés dio esta orden a los hijos de Israel: “Esta es la tierra que os repartiréis por suertes y que Yahvé mandó dar a las nueve tribus y a la media tribu (de Manasés);
Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, “This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which the LORD has commanded to give to the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;
14 porque la tribu de los hijos de Rubén según sus casas paternas, y la tribu de los hijos de Gad, según sus casas paternas, y la media tribu de Manasés han recibido ya su porción.
for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers’ houses, the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers’ houses, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance.
15 Estas dos tribus y la media tribu recibieron su herencia en la otra ribera del Jordán, frente a Jericó, al oriente donde se levanta el sol.”
The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, towards the sunrise.”
16 Habló Yahvé a Moisés, diciendo:
The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
17 “Estos son los nombres de los varones que os han de repartir la tierra: el sacerdote Eleazar y Josué, hijo de Nun.
“These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for inheritance: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
18 Tomaréis también un príncipe de cada tribu para repartir la tierra.
You shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land for inheritance.
19 He aquí los nombres de los varones: De la tribu de Judá, Caleb, hijo de Jefone;
These are the names of the men: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
20 de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, Samuel, hijo de Amiud;
Of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
21 de la tribu de Benjamín, Eliad, hijo de Caselón;
Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.
22 de la tribu de los hijos de Dan, el príncipe Buquí, hijo de Joglí;
Of the tribe of the children of Dan a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli.
23 de los hijos de José, por la tribu de los hijos de Manasés, el príncipe Haniel, hijo de Efod;
Of the children of Joseph: of the tribe of the children of Manasseh a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod.
24 de la tribu de los hijos de Efraím, el príncipe Camuel, hijo de Siftán;
Of the tribe of the children of Ephraim a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
25 de la tribu de los hijos de Zabulón, el príncipe Elisafán, hijo de Farnac;
Of the tribe of the children of Zebulun a prince, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.
26 de la tribu de los hijos de Isacar, el príncipe Faltiel, hijo de Asan;
Of the tribe of the children of Issachar a prince, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
27 de la tribu de los hijos de Aser, el príncipe Ahiud, hijo de Selomí.
Of the tribe of the children of Asher a prince, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
28 De la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí, el príncipe Fadael, hijo de Amiud.”
Of the tribe of the children of Naphtali a prince, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.”
29 Estos son aquellos a quienes Yahvé mandó que repartieran la tierra de Canaán entre los hijos de Israel.
These are they whom the LORD commanded to divide the inheritance to the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
