Malaquías 3

1 He aquí que envío a mi ángel que preparará el camino delante de Mí; y de repente vendrá a su Templo el Señor a quien buscáis, y el ángel de la Alianza a quien deseáis. He aquí que viene, dice Yahvé de los ejércitos.

look! I to send: depart messenger my and to turn way: road to/for face: before my and suddenly to come (in): come to(wards) temple his [the] lord which you(m. p.) to seek and messenger [the] covenant which you(m. p.) delighting behold to come (in): come to say LORD Hosts

2 ¿Quién podrá soportar el día de su venida? ¿Quién es el que podrá mantenerse en pie en su epifanía? Pues será como fuego de acrisolador, y como lejía de batanero.

and who? to sustain [obj] day to come (in): come he and who? [the] to stand: stand in/on/with to see: see he for he/she/it like/as fire to refine and like/as lye to wash

3 Se sentará para acrisolar y limpiar la plata; purificará a los hijos de Leví, y los limpiará como el oro y la plata, para que ofrezcan a Yahvé sacrificios en justicia.

and to dwell to refine and be pure silver: money and be pure [obj] son: descendant/people Levi and to refine [obj] them like/as gold and like/as silver: money and to be to/for LORD to approach: bring offering in/on/with righteousness

4 Y será grata a Yahvé la oblación de Judá y de Jerusalén, como en los días primeros y como en los tiempos antiguos.

and to please to/for LORD offering Judah and Jerusalem like/as day forever: antiquity and like/as year eastern: older

5 Entonces llegaré a vosotros para juzgar; y seré pronto testigo contra los hechiceros, contra los adúlteros y los perjuros; contra los que oprimen al jornalero, a la viuda y al huérfano, contra los que tuercen (el derecho del) extranjero; y no me temen a Mí, dice Yahvé de los ejércitos.

and to present: come to(wards) you to/for justice: judgement and to be witness to hasten in/on/with to practice sorcery and in/on/with to commit adultery and in/on/with to swear to/for deception and in/on/with to oppress wages hired widow and orphan and to stretch sojourner and not to fear: revere me to say LORD Hosts

6 Porque Yo, Yahvé, soy inmutable, por eso vosotros, oh hijos de Jacob, no habéis sido consumidos.

7 Desde los días de vuestros padres, os habéis apartado de mis mandamientos y no los habéis guardado. Convertíos a Mí, y Yo me volveré a vosotros, dice Yahvé de los ejércitos. Mas vosotros decís: «¿En qué hemos de convertirnos?»

8 ¿Puede acaso el hombre engañar a Dios? Pues vosotros me estáis engañando y decís: «¿En qué te hemos engañado?» En los diezmos y las primicias.

9 Caiga sobre vosotros la maldición, porque me habéis engañado, la nación entera.

10 Traed todo el diezmo a la cámara de tesoros, para que haya alimento en mi Casa; y probadme, os ruego, en esto, dice Yahvé de los ejércitos; a ver si no os abro las cataratas del cielo, y derramo sobre vosotros una bendición superabundante.

11 Por vosotros increparé a la (langosta) devoradora, y no os destruirá los frutos de la tierra; y las viñas del campo no os serán estériles, dice Yahvé de los ejércitos.

and to rebuke to/for you in/on/with to eat and not to ruin to/for you [obj] fruit [the] land: soil and not be bereaved to/for you [the] vine in/on/with land: country to say LORD Hosts

12 Y todas las naciones os llamarán bienaventurados; pues seréis una tierra de delicias, dice Yahvé de los ejércitos.

and to bless [obj] you all [the] nation for to be you(m. p.) land: country/planet pleasure to say LORD Hosts

13 Vuestras palabras contra Mí son insolentes, dice Yahvé. Y todavía decís: «¿Qué hemos hablado contra Ti?»

to strengthen: strengthen upon me word your to say LORD and to say what? to speak: speak upon you

14 Habéis dicho: «Cosa inútil es servir a Dios, ¿y qué provecho tenemos si observamos sus mandamientos, y andamos tristes delante de Yahvé de los ejércitos?

to say vanity: vain to serve: minister God and what? unjust-gain for to keep: obey charge his and for to go: walk mournfully from face: before LORD Hosts

15 Llamamos dichosos a los soberbios, pues los impíos tienen suerte; aunque provocan a Dios quedan salvos».

and now we to bless arrogant also to build to make: [do] wickedness also to test God and to escape

16 Entonces los que temían a Yahvé hablaron unos con otros, y Yahvé estuvo atento y escuchó; y fue escrito delante de Él un libro de memoria en favor de los que temen a Yahvé, y respetan su Nombre.

17 Ellos serán, dice Yahvé de los ejércitos, mi propiedad en aquel día que Yo preparo; y de ellos me apiadaré, como un hombre se apiada del hijo que le sirve.

18 Entonces veréis una vez más (la diferencia) entre el justo y el impío, entre aquel que sirve a Dios, y aquel que no le sirve.
