Levítico 5

1 “Si alguno pecare porque habiendo oído una imprecación y sido testigo de una cosa, sea porque la vio, o sea porque la supo, y no la denunció, llevará su iniquidad.

Also if any haue sinned, that is, If he haue heard the voyce of an othe, and hee can be a witnes, whether he hath seene or knowen of it, if hee doe not vtter it, he shall beare his iniquitie:

2 O si alguno sin darse cuenta tocare cosa inmunda, sea el cadáver de una fiera inmunda, o el cadáver de un animal doméstico, o el cadáver de un reptil inmundo, se hace inmundo y culpable él mismo.

Either if one touche any vncleane thing, whether it be a carion of an vncleane beast, or a carion of vncleane cattel, or a carion of vncleane creeping things, and is not ware of it, yet he is vncleane, and hath offended:

3 O si tocare, por inadvertencia, cualquier inmundicia de hombre, con la que uno se puede contaminar, tan pronto como llegue a saberlo, será reo de culpa.

Eyther if hee touche any vncleannesse of man (whatsoeuer vncleannes it be, that hee is defiled with) and is not ware of it, and after commeth to the knowledge of it, he hath sinned:

4 O si alguno con sus labios jurare inconsideradamente hacer mal o hacer bien, en una de esas cosas en que los hombres suelen jurar inconsideradamente, y no se da cuenta, tan pronto como llegue a saberlo, se hará culpable de la cosa respectiva.

Either if any sweare and pronounce with his lippes to do euill, or to doe good (whatsoeuer it bee that a man shall pronounce with an othe) and it be hid from him, and after knoweth that he hath offended in one of these poyntes,

5 Quienquiera que fuere culpable de una de estas cosas, confesará aquello en que ha pecado;

Whe he hath sinned in any of these things, then he shall confesse that he hath sinned therein.

6 y para expiación del pecado cometido ofrecerá a Yahvé una hembra del ganado menor, oveja o cabra, como sacrificio por el pecado; y el sacerdote hará por él expiación de su pecado.

Therefore shall he bring his trespasse offring vnto the Lord for his sinne which he hath committed, euen a female from ye flocke, be it a lambe or a she goat for a sinne offring, and the Priest shall make an atonement for him, concerning his sinne.

7 Cuando sus recursos no alcancen para una oveja, presentará a Yahvé, como sacrificio por su pecado, dos tórtolas o dos palominos, uno como sacrificio por el pecado y otro en holocausto.

But if he be not able to bring a sheepe, he shall bring for his trespas which he hath committed, two turtle doues, or two yong pigeons vnto the Lord, one for a sinne offring, and the other for a burnt offring.

8 Los llevará al sacerdote, quien ofrecerá primero el que se ofrece por el pecado. Con las uñas le retorcerá la cabeza cerca del cuello sin arrancarla.

So he shall bring them vnto the Priest, who shall offer the sinne offring first, and wring the necke of it a sunder, but not plucke it cleane off.

9 Y derramará parte de la sangre del sacrificio expiatorio contra la pared del altar; y lo restante de la sangre la hará gotear al pie del altar, pues es sacrificio por el pecado.

After he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sinne offring vpon the side of the altar, and the rest of the blood shall be shed at the foote of the altar: for it is a sinne offering.

10 Luego ofrecerá el segundo en holocausto, conforme al rito. Así el sacerdote le expiará por el pecado cometido y este le será perdonado.

Also he shall offer the seconde for a burnt offring as the maner is: so shall the Priest make an atonement for him (for his sinne which hee hath committed) and it shalbe forgiuen him.

11 Si no tuviere lo suficiente para dos tórtolas o dos palominos, presentará, como ofrenda suya por el pecado, la décima parte de una efa de flor de harina en sacrificio expiatorio. No añadirá aceite, ni echará sobre ella incienso, porque es sacrificio por el pecado.

But if he be not able to bring two turtle doues, or two yong pigeons, then he that hath sinned, shall bring for his offring, the tenth parte of an Ephah of fine floure for a sinne offring, he shall put none oyle thereto, neither put any incense thereon: for it is a sinne offering.

12 La llevará al sacerdote; y el sacerdote tomando de ella un puñado, para recuerdo, la quemará en el altar, encima de los sacrificios consumidos por el fuego en honor de Yahvé. Es sacrificio por el pecado.

Then shall hee bring it to the Priest, and the Priest shall take his handfull of it for the remembrance thereof, and burne it vpon the altar with the offrings of the Lord made by fire: for it is a sinne offring.

13 Y el sacerdote hará expiación por él, por el pecado que cometió en alguna de aquellas cosas, y se le perdonará. Y (el resto) pertenecerá al sacerdote, como en oblación.”

So the Priest shall make an atonement for him, as touching his sinne that he hath committed in one of these poyntes, and it shall bee forgiuen him: and the remnant shalbe the Priests, as the meate offring.

14 Y habló Yahvé a Moisés, diciendo:

And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,

15 “Si uno comete infidelidad y peca por inadvertencia contra las cosas santas que pertenecen a Yahvé, ofrecerá a Yahvé, como sacrificio por su delito, un carnero del rebaño, sin tacha, estimado según tu valuación en dos siclos, conforme al peso del Santuario.

If any person transgresse and sinne through ignorance by taking away things consecrated vnto the Lord, hee shall then bring for his trespasse offring vnto the Lord a ramme without blemish out of the flocke, worth two shekels of siluer by thy estimation after the shekel of the Sanctuarie, for a trespasse offring.

16 Y restituirá lo que defraudó de la cosa santa, añadiéndole una quinta parte, y lo dará al sacerdote, el cual hará por él la expiación con el carnero del sacrificio por el delito y se le perdonará.

So hee shall restore that wherein hee hath offended, in taking away of the holy thing, and shall put the fift part more thereto, and giue it vnto the Priest: so the Priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of ye trespasse offring, and it shalbe forgiuen him.

17 Quien pecare sin darse cuenta, haciendo algo prohibido por los mandamientos de Yahvé; será culpable y llevará su iniquidad.

Also if any sinne and doe against any of the commandements of the Lord, which ought not to be done, and knowe not and sinne and beare his iniquitie,

18 Llevará al sacerdote, como sacrificio por el delito, un carnero del rebaño, sin tacha, según tu valuación; y el sacerdote hará expiación por el error que cometió sin saberlo, y se le perdonará.

Then shall he bring a ramme without blemishe out of the flocke, in thy estimation worth two shekels for a trespasse offring vnto ye Priest: and the Priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred, and was not ware: so it shalbe forgiuen him.

19 Es sacrificio expiatorio, pues pecó indudablemente contra Yahvé.”

This is the trespasse offring for the trespasse committed against the Lord.
