Josué 17
1 También la tribu de Manasés recibió una porción, pues era el primogénito de José. Maquir, primogénito de Manasés, padre de Galaad, que era hombre de guerra, había obtenido ya a Galaad y Basan.
And it belonged the lot to [the] tribe of Manasseh for he [was] [the] firstborn of Joseph to Makir [the] firstborn of Manasseh [the] father of Gilead for he he was a man of war and it belonged to him Gilead and Bashan.
2 Era (esta suerte) para los hijos restantes de Manasés, según sus familias: para los hijos de Abiéser, para los hijos de Hélec, para los hijos de Asriel, para los hijos de Siquem, para los hijos de Héfer y para los hijos de Semidá. Estos fueron los hijos varones de Manasés, hijo de José, según sus familias.
And it belonged to [the] descendants of Manasseh who remained to clans their to [the] descendants of Abiezer and to [the] descendants of Helek and to [the] descendants of Asriel and to [the] descendants of Shechem and to [the] descendants of Hepher and to [the] descendants of Shemida these [were] [the] descendants of Manasseh [the] son of Joseph the males to clans their.
3 Salfaad, hijo de Héfer, hijo de Galaad, hijo de Maquir, hijo de Manasés, no tuvo hijos sino hijas, cuyos nombres son: Maalá, Noá, Hoglá, Milcá y Tirsá.
And to Zelophehad [the] son of Hepher [the] son of Gilead [the] son of Makir [the] son of Manasseh not they belonged to him sons that except daughters and these [are] [the] names of daughters his Mahlah and Noah Hoglah Milcah and Tirzah.
4 Estas se presentaron ante el sacerdote Eleazar, ante Josué, hijo de Nun, y ante los príncipes, diciendo: “Yahvé mandó a Moisés que se nos diese herencia en medio de nuestros hermanos.” Se les dio, pues, por orden de Yahvé, herencia entre los hermanos de su padre.
And they drew near before Eleazar the priest and before - Joshua [the] son of Nun and before the leaders saying Yahweh he commanded Moses to give to us an inheritance in among brothers our and he gave to them to [the] mouth of Yahweh an inheritance in among [the] brothers of father their.
5 Tocaron a Manasés diez porciones, además de la región de Galaad y de Basan, que está al otro lado del Jordán;
And they fell [the] allotted portions of Manasseh ten apart from [the] land of Gilead and Bashan which [is] from [the] other side of the Jordan.
6 porque las hijas de Manasés obtuvieron herencia entre los hijos; la región de Galaad quedó para los demás hijos de Manasés.
For [the] daughters of Manasseh they inherited an inheritance in among sons his and [the] land of Gilead it belonged to [the] descendants of Manasseh who remained.
7 La frontera de Manasés iba de Aser a Micmetat, que está frente a Siquem; y seguía la frontera, hacia el sur hasta los habitantes de En Tafua.
And it was [the] border of Manasseh from Asher Micmethath which [is] on [the] face of Shechem and it goes the border to the south to [the] inhabitants of En Tappuah.
8 El territorio de Tafua pertenecía a Manasés, pero Tafua, aunque situada en el territorio de Manasés, era de los hijos de Efraím.
To Manasseh it belonged [the] land of Tappuah and Tappuah to [the] border of Manasseh [belonged] to [the] descendants of Ephraim.
9 La frontera bajaba hacia el sur, al torrente de Caná, cuyas ciudades que estaban en medio de las ciudades de Manasés pertenecían a Efraím. La frontera de Manasés corría por el norte del torrente, para terminar en el mar;
And it goes down the border [the] wadi of Kanah [the] south towards to the wadi cities these [belonged] to Ephraim in among [the] cities of Manasseh and [the] border of Manasseh [was] from [the] north of the wadi and it was extremities its the sea towards.
10 de modo que el territorio al sur era de Efraím, y el del norte, de Manasés. El mar era su término. Por el norte tocaban con Aser, y por el este con Isacar.
South-ward [belonged] to Ephraim and north-ward [belonged] to Manasseh and it was the sea border its and Asher they touch! from [the] north and Issachar from [the] east.
11 Manasés obtuvo en Isacar y en Aser, a Betseán con sus aldeas, a Ibleam con sus aldeas, a los habitantes de Dor con sus aldeas, a los habitantes de Endor con sus aldeas, a los habitantes de Taanac con sus aldeas, y a los habitantes de Megiddó con sus aldeas: tres distritos.
And it belonged to Manasseh in Issachar and in Asher Beth Shean and daughters its and Ibleam and daughters its and [the] inhabitants of Dor and daughters its and [the] inhabitants of En-dor and daughters its and [the] inhabitants of Taanach and daughters its and [the] inhabitants of Megiddo and daughters its [the] three of Napheth.
12 Mas los hijos de Manasés no pudieron apoderarse de aquellas ciudades, de modo que los cananeos lograron habitar con ellos en aquella región.
And not they were able [the] descendants of Manasseh to take possession of the cities these and he was determined the Canaanite[s] to dwell in the land this.
13 Cuando los hijos de Israel cobraron fuerzas, obligaron a los cananeos a pagar tributos, pero no los expulsaron por completo.
And it was that they became strong [the] people of Israel and they made the Canaanite[s] forced labor and certainly not he dispossessed him.
14 Los hijos de José hablaron entonces a Josué, diciendo: “¿Por qué me has dado en herencia una sola suerte y una sola porción, siendo así que soy un pueblo grande, pues Yahvé me ha bendecido hasta ahora?”
And they spoke [the] descendants of Joseph with Joshua saying why? have you given to me an inheritance a lot one and a portion one and I [am] a people numerous to that until thus he has blessed me Yahweh.
15 Josué les contestó: “Si eres un pueblo grande, sube al bosque, y haz desmontes para ti allá en la tierra de los fereceos y de los refaítas, ya que la montaña de Efraím es para ti estrecha.”
And he said to them Joshua if [are] a people numerous you go up for yourself the forest towards and you will cut down for yourself there in [the] land of the Perizzite[s] and the Rephaites that it is narrow for you [the] hill country of Ephraim.
16 Los hijos de José le respondieron: “La montaña no nos basta, y todos los cananeos que habitan en los valles tienen carros de hierro, tanto los de Betseán y sus aldeas, como los que están en el valle de Jesreel.”
And they said [the] descendants of Joseph not it will be found for us the hill country and chariotry of iron [is] among all the Canaanite[s] who dwells in [the] land of the valley to [those] who [are] in Beth Shean and daughters its and to [those] who [are] in [the] valley of Jezreel.
17 Respondió Josué a la casa de José, a Efraím y a Manasés, y dijo: “Eres un pueblo numeroso y tienes gran poder. No has de tener una sola suerte;
And he said Joshua to [the] house of Joseph to Ephraim and to Manasseh saying [are] a people numerous you and strength great [belongs] to you not it will belong to you a lot one.
18 porque tuya será la montaña. Es bosque, pero tú la desmontarás, y serán tuyos sus términos, porque expulsarás a los cananeos, aunque tengan carros de hierro y sean fuertes.”
For [the] hill country it will belong to you for [is] forest it and you will cut down it and it will belong to you extremities its for you will dispossess the Canaanite[s] for chariotry of iron [belongs] to him that [is] strong he.
