Josué 13

1 Era Josué ya viejo y entrado en años cuando Yahvé le dijo: “Eres ya viejo, y de edad avanzada y queda todavía muchísima tierra por conquistar.

Now Joshua was old and well stricken in years; and the LORD said unto him: 'Thou art old and well stricken in years, and there remaineth yet very much land to be possessed.

2 He aquí la tierra que aún queda: todos los distritos de los filisteos, y todos los de Gesur,

This is the land that yet remaineth: all the regions of the Philistines, and all the Geshurites;

3 desde el Schihor, que corre al oriente de Egipto, hasta el territorio de Acarón, al norte —que se considera como de los cananeos—, los cinco príncipes de los filisteos, el de Gaza, el de Azoto, el de Ascalón, el de Gat, el de Acarón, y al sur los aveos;

from the Shihor, which is before Egypt, even unto the border of Ekron northward — which is counted to the Canaanites; the five lords of the Philistines: the Gazite, and the Ashdodite, the Ashkelonite, the Gittite, and the Ekronite; also the Avvim

4 todo el país de los cananeos, desde Meará, que es de los sidonios, hasta Afee, hasta el territorio de los amorreos;

on the south; all the land of the Canaanites, and Mearah that belongeth to the Zidonians, unto Aphek, to the border of the Amorites;

5 el país de los gebalitas, y todo el Líbano al oriente, desde Baalgad al pie del monte Hermón, hasta la entrada de Hamat;

and the land of the Gebalites, and all Lebanon, toward the sunrising, from Baal-gad under mount Hermon unto the entrance of Hamath;

6 todos los moradores de la montaña desde el Líbano hasta Misrefot Mayim, todos los sidonios. Yo los arrojaré delante de los hijos de Israel; tú entre tanto, repartirás su país por suerte a Israel para herencia suya, como te lo he mandado.

all the inhabitants of the hill-country from Lebanon unto Misrephoth-maim, even all the Zidonians; them will I drive out from before the children of Israel; only allot thou it unto Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.

7 Ahora reparte este país como herencia a las nueve tribus y a la mitad de la tribu de Manasés.

Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.'

8 La otra mitad (de Manasés), con los rubenitas y los gaditas, obtuvieron ya su porción, la que les dio Moisés al otro lado del Jordán, en la parte oriental, según se la entregó Moisés, siervo de Yahvé,

With him the Reubenites and the Gadites received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond the Jordan eastward, even as Moses the servant of the LORD gave them;

9 desde Aroer, situado a orillas del río Arnón, y de la ciudad que está en medio del valle, toda la llanura de Medebá hasta Dibón;

from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the table-land from Medeba unto Dibon;

10 todas las ciudades de Sehón, rey de los amorreos, que reinó en Hesbón, hasta el territorio de los hijos de Ammón;

and all the cities of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, unto the border of the children of Ammon;

11 Galaad, con el territorio de Gesur y Maacat, todo el monte Hermón y Basan entero, hasta Salea;

and Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and all mount Hermon, and all Bashan unto Salcah;

12 todo el reino de Og, en Basan, el cual reinó en Astarot y en Edreí —fue el del resto de los gigantes—. Moisés los derrotó y los desposeyó.

all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and in Edrei — the same was left of the remnant of the Rephaim — for these did Moses smite, and drove them out.

13 Pero los hijos de Israel no desposeyeron a los gesureos, ni a los maacateos, sino que los gesureos y los maacateos habitan en medio de los hijos de Israel hasta el día de hoy.

Nevertheless the children of Israel drove not out the Geshurites, nor the Maacathites; but Geshur and Maacath dwelt in the midst of Israel unto this day.

14 Solamente a la tribu de Leví no le dio herencia alguna. Su herencia son los sacrificios ígneos ofrecidos a Yahvé, el Dios de Israel, como Él se lo ha prometido.

Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance; the offerings of the LORD, the God of Israel, made by fire are his inheritance, as He spoke unto him.

15 Moisés había dado a la tribu de los hijos de Rubén (su herencia) según sus familias.

And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their families.

16 Les fue dado el territorio desde Aroer, situada a orillas del río Arnón y de la ciudad que está en medio del valle, toda la llanura contigua a Medebá;

And their border was from Aroer, that is on the edge of the valley of Arnon, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the table-land by Medeba;

17 Hesbón con todas sus ciudades que están en la llanura; Dibón, Bamot-Baal, Bet-Baalmeón,

Heshbon, and all her cities that are in the table-land; Dibon, and Bamoth-baal, and Beth-baal-meon;

18 Jahsa, Quedemot, Mefaat,

and Jahaz, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath;

19 Kiryataim. Sibmá y Zaret-Hasáhar en el monte del valle;

and Kiriathaim, and Sibmah, and Zerethshahar in the mount of the valley;

20 Betfegor, con las vertientes del Fasga, Bet-Jesimot,

and Beth-peor, and the slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth;

21 todas las ciudades de la llanura y todo el reino de Sehón, rey de los amorreos, que reinaba en Hesbón, a quien derrotó Moisés, con los príncipes de Madián, Eví, Requem, Zur, Hur y Reba, príncipes de Sehón, que habitaban en el país.

and all the cities of the table-land, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses smote with the chiefs of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the princes of Sihon, that dwelt in the land.

22 Los hijos de Israel mataron también a espada a Balaam, hijo de Beor, el adivino con los otros que pasaron a cuchillo.

Balaam also the son of Beor, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among the rest of their slain.

23 El Jordán, con su territorio, era la frontera de los hijos de Rubén. Tal fue la porción, las ciudades y sus aldeas, de los hijos de Rubén, según sus familias.

And as for the border of the children of Reuben, the Jordan was their border. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben according to their families, the cities and the villages thereof.

24 También a la tribu de Gad, a los hijos de Gad dio Moisés (su porción) conforme a sus familias.

And Moses gave unto the tribe of Gad, unto the children of Gad, according to their families.

25 Y fue el territorio de ellos Jaser, todas las ciudades de Galaad, la mitad del país de los hijos de Ammón, hasta Aroer, que está frente a Rabbá;

And their border was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah;

26 además desde Hesbon hasta Ramot-Masfá, y Betonim; y desde Mahanaim hasta el territorio de Dabir;

and from Heshbon unto Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim unto the border of Lidbir;

27 y en el valle, Betharán, Betnimrá, Sucot, y Safón, el resto del reino de Sehón, rey de Hesbón, el Jordán con sus riberas, hasta el borde del Mar de Kinéret al otro lado del Jordán, al oriente.

and in the valley, Beth-haram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, the Jordan being the border thereof, unto the uttermost part of the sea of Chinnereth beyond the Jordan eastward.

28 Esta fue la porción, las ciudades con sus aldeas, de los hijos de Gad, según sus familias.

This is the inheritance of the children of Gad according to their families, the cities and the villages thereof.

29 Moisés dio igualmente a la media tribu de Manasés (su parte): La media tribu de los hijos de Manasés recibió, según sus familias (esta herencia):

And Moses gave inheritance unto the half-tribe of Manasseh; and it was for the half-tribe of the children of Manasseh according to their families.

30 Fue su territorio desde Mahanaim, todo Basan, todo el reino de Og, rey de Basan, y todas las aldeas de Jaír, en Basan, sesenta ciudades.

And their border was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the villages of Jair, which are in Bashan, threescore cities;

31 La mitad de Galaad, juntamente con Astarot y Edreí, ciudades del reino de Og, en Basan, pertenecían a los hijos de Maquir, hijo de Manasés; para la mitad de los hijos de Maquir, según sus familias.

and half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, were for the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, even for the half of the children of Machir according to their families.

32 Esto es lo que Moisés repartió en las campiñas de Moab, al otro lado del Jordán, al oriente de Jericó.

These are the inheritances which Moses distributed in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan at Jericho, eastward.

33 Moisés no dio porción a la tribu de Leví. Su porción es Yahvé, el Dios de Israel, conforme Él se lo ha dicho.

But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave no inheritance; the LORD, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, as He spoke unto them.
