Juan 10
1 “En verdad, en verdad, os digo, quien no entra por la puerta en el aprisco de las ovejas, sino que sube por otra parte, ese es un ladrón y un salteador.
AMEN, amen, I say to you, Whosoever entereth not by the door into the fold of the flock, but ascendeth by another place, he is a thief and a robber.
2 Mas el que entra por la puerta, es el pastor de las ovejas.
But he who entereth by the door, he is the shepherd of the flock.
3 A este le abre el portero, y las ovejas oyen su voz, y él llama por su nombre a las ovejas propias, y las saca fuera.
And to him the keeper of the gate openeth the gate, and the flock heareth his voice, and his sheep he calleth by their names, and he leadeth them forth;
4 Cuando ha hecho salir todas las suyas, va delante de ellas, y las ovejas le siguen porque conocen su voz.
and when his flock hath gone forth, he goeth before it, and his sheep follow him, because they know his voice.
5 Mas al extraño no le seguirán, antes huirán de él, porque no conocen la voz de los extraños”.
But after a stranger the flock goeth not, but it fleeth from him; for it knoweth not the voice of a stranger.
6 Tal es la parábola, que les dijo Jesús, pero ellos no comprendieron de qué les hablaba.
This parable spake Jeshu to them, but they knew not what he said with them.
7 Entonces Jesús prosiguió: “En verdad, en verdad, os digo, Yo soy la puerta de las ovejas.
Jeshu saith to them again, Amen, amen, I say to you, I am the gate of the flock;
8 Todos cuantos han venido antes que Yo son ladrones y salteadores, mas las ovejas no los escucharon.
and all those who have come were thieves and robbers, but the flock heard them not.
9 Yo soy la puerta, si alguno entra por Mí, será salvo; podrá ir y venir y hallará pastos.
I am the gate; by me if any man enter, he shall live and shall come in, and go out, and find pasture.
10 El ladrón no viene sino para robar, para degollar, para destruir. Yo he venido para que tengan vida y vida sobreabundante.
The thief cometh not but to steal and to kill and destroy: I am come that they may have life, and that which is more.
11 Yo soy el pastor, el Bueno. El buen pastor pone su vida por las ovejas.
I am the good shepherd, and the good shepherd his life layeth down for his flock.
12 Mas el mercenario, el que no es el pastor, de quien no son propias las ovejas, viendo venir al lobo, abandona las ovejas y huye, y el lobo las arrebata y las dispersa;
The hireling who is not the shepherd, and whose the sheep are not, when he seeth the wolf coming, leaveth the flock and fleeth; and the wolf cometh ravaging and destroying the flock.
13 porque es mercenario y no tiene interés en las ovejas.
But the hireling fleeth because he is an hireling, and careth not for the flock.
14 Yo soy el pastor bueno, y conozco las mías, y las mías me conocen,
I am the good shepherd, and know my own, and am known of my own.
15 —así como el Padre me conoce y Yo conozco al Padre— y pongo mi vida por mis ovejas.
As my Father knoweth me (and) I know my Father, and my life I lay down for the flock.
16 Y tengo otras ovejas que no son de este aprisco. A esas también tengo que traer; ellas oirán mi voz, y habrá un solo rebaño y un solo pastor.
But I have other sheep also which are not of this fold; and these also it behoveth me to bring, and they will hear my voice, and all shall become one flock and one shepherd.
17 Por esto me ama el Padre, porque Yo pongo mi vida para volver a tomarla.
On this account my Father loveth me, because I lay down my life again to take it.
18 Nadie me la puede quitar, sino que Yo mismo la pongo. Tengo el poder de ponerla, y tengo el poder de recobrarla. Tal es el mandamiento que recibí de mi Padre”.
No man taketh it away from me, but I lay it down from my will; for I am able to lay it down, and I am able to take it again; for this commandment have I received from my Father.
19 Y de nuevo los judíos se dividieron a causa de estas palabras.
And there was again a division among the Jihudoyee because of his words:
20 Muchos decían: “Es un endemoniado, está loco. ¿Por qué lo escucháis?”
and many of them said, He has a devil, and is altogether insane, why do you hear him?
21 Otros decían: “Estas palabras no son de un endemoniado. ¿Puede acaso un demonio abrir los ojos de los ciegos?”
But others said, These words are not of a demoniac: how can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
22 Llegó entre tanto la fiesta de la Dedicación en Jerusalén. Era invierno,
IT was the feast of the renovation at Urishlem,
23 y Jesús se paseaba en el Templo, bajo el pórtico de Salomón.
and it was winter. And Jeshu walked in the temple in the portico of Shelumun.
24 Lo rodearon, entonces, y le dijeron: “¿Hasta cuándo tendrás nuestros espíritus en suspenso? Si Tú eres el Mesías, dínoslo claramente”.
And the Jihudoyee surrounded him, saying to him, How long takest thou our souls? If thou art the Meshicha, tell us openly.
25 Jesús les replicó: “Os lo he dicho, y no creéis. Las obras que Yo hago en el nombre de mi Padre, esas son las que dan testimonio de Mí.
Jeshu answered and said to them, I have told you, and you believe not. The works that I do in the name of my Father, these witness for me.
26 Pero vosotros no creéis porque no sois de mis ovejas.
But you believe not, because you are not of my sheep, (even) as I told you.
27 Mis ovejas oyen mi voz, Yo las conozco y ellas me siguen.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me;
29 Lo que mi Padre me dio es mayor que todo, y nadie lo puede arrebatar de la mano de mi Padre.
For my Father who gave them to me than all is greater; and no man from the hand of my Father can snatch them.
30 Yo y mi Padre somos uno”.
I and my Father are One.
31 De nuevo los judíos recogieron piedras para lapidarlo.
And again the Jihudoyee took up stones to stone him.
32 Entonces Jesús les dijo: “Os he hecho ver muchas obras buenas, que son de mi Padre. ¿Por cuál de ellas queréis apedrearme?”
Jeshu saith to them, Many good works from my Father have I showed you: on account of which of these works do you stone me?
33 Los judíos le respondieron: “No por obra buena te apedreamos, sino porque blasfemas, y siendo hombre, te haces a Ti mismo Dios”.
The Jihudoyee say to him, Not on account of the good works do we stone thee, but because thou blasphemest; thou, being a son of man, making thyself Aloha.
34 Respondioles Jesús: “¿No está escrito en vuestra Ley: «Yo dije: sois dioses?»
Jeshu saith to them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are Alohee?
35 Si ha llamado dioses a aquellos a quienes fue dirigida la palabra de Dios —y la Escritura no puede ser anulada—
If them he calleth Alohee, because with them was the word of Aloha, and the scripture cannot be loosed,
36 ¿cómo de Aquel que el Padre consagró y envió al mundo, vosotros decís: «Blasfemas», porque dije: «Yo soy el Hijo de Dios?»
to him whom the Father hath sanctified and sent into the world, say you, Thou blasphemest, because I have said to you, I am the Son of Aloha?
37 Si no hago las obras de mi Padre, no me creáis;
And if I do not the works of my Father, believe me not;
38 pero ya que las hago, si no queréis creerme, creed al menos, a esas obras, para que sepáis y conozcáis que el Padre es en Mí, y que Yo soy en el Padre”.
but if I do, though you believe not me, the works believe, that you may know and believe that the Father is in me, and (that) I (am) in the Father.
39 Entonces trataron de nuevo de apoderarse de Él, pero se escapó de entre sus manos.
And they sought again to apprehend him; but he went forth from among their hands:
40 Y se fue nuevamente al otro lado del Jordán, al lugar donde Juan había bautizado primero, y allí se quedó.
and he went beyond Jurdan, to the place where Juchanon at first had baptized, and was there.
41 Y muchos vinieron a Él, y decían: “Juan no hizo milagros, pero todo lo que dijo de Este, era verdad”.
And many came to him, and said, Juchanon did not one sign; but every thing which Juchanon said concerning this man was true.
42 Y muchos allí creyeron en Él.
And many believed in him.
