Ezequiel 11

1 Me arrebató el Espíritu y me llevó a la puerta oriental de la Casa de Yahvé, que mira hacia el oriente; y he aquí, a la entrada de la puerta, veinte y cinco hombres; y vi en medio de ellos a Jezonías, hijo de Azur, y a Feltías hijo de Banaías, príncipes del pueblo.

And [the] Spirit lifts me up, and it brings me to the east gate of the house of YHWH, that is facing the east, and behold, at the opening of the gate [are] twenty-five men, and I see in their midst Jaazaniah son of Azzur, and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, heads of the people.

2 Y me dijo: “Hijo de hombre, estos son los hombres que urden maldades y dan perversos consejos en esta ciudad.

And He says to me, “Son of man, these [are] the men who are devising iniquity, and who are giving evil counsel in this city;

3 Estos son los que dicen «¿Acaso no han sido construidas poco ha, casas? Esta (ciudad) es la olla, y nosotros somos la carne.»”

who are saying, It [is] not near—to build houses, it [is] the pot, and we [are] the flesh.

4 Por eso profetiza contra ellos; profetiza, hijo de hombre.

Therefore prophesy concerning them, prophesy, son of man.”

5 Y vino sobre mí el Espíritu de Yahvé, y me dijo: “Habla. Así dice Yahvé: De esta manera habéis hablado, oh casa de Israel, pero Yo conozco lo que pensáis en vuestro corazón.

And [the] Spirit of YHWH falls on me, and He says to me, “Say, Thus said YHWH: You have said correctly, O house of Israel, And I have known the steps of your spirit.

6 Habéis multiplicado los muertos en esta ciudad y llenado de cadáveres sus calles.

You multiplied your wounded in this city, And filled its out-places with the wounded.

7 Por eso así dice Yahvé, el Señor: Vuestros muertos que habéis dejado en medio de ella, ellos son la carne, y ella es la olla. Pero Yo os sacaré de en medio de ella.

Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: Your wounded whom you placed in its midst, They [are] the flesh, and it [is] the pot, And He has brought you out from its midst.

8 Teméis la espada, por eso haré venir sobre vosotros la espada, dice Yahvé, el Señor.

You have feared a sword, And I bring in a sword against you, A declaration of Lord YHWH.

9 Os sacaré fuera de ella, y os entregaré en manos de los extranjeros, y ejerceré entre vosotros la justicia.

And I have brought you out of its midst, And given you into the hand of strangers, And I have done judgments among you.

10 Al filo de la espada caeréis; en los confines de Israel os juzgaré y conoceréis que Yo soy Yahvé.

You fall by the sword, I judge you on the border of Israel, And you have known that I [am] YHWH.

11 Esta (ciudad) no será vuestra olla, ni vosotros seréis la carne en medio de ella. En el territorio de Israel voy a juzgaros.

It is not for a pot for you, Nor are you for flesh in its midst, I judge you at the border of Israel.

12 Y conoceréis que Yo soy Yahvé cuyos preceptos vosotros no habéis observado ni cumplido sus leyes; al contrario, habéis seguido las costumbres de las naciones que os rodean.”

And you have known that I [am] YHWH, For you have not walked in My statutes, And you have not done My judgments, And according to the judgments of the nations Who are around you, you have done!”

13 Estaba yo aún vaticinando cuando murió Feltías, hijo de Banaías; y caí sobre mi rostro, y clamé con voz fuerte, diciendo: “¡Ay, Yahvé, Señor! ¿Tú vas a acabar con el resto de Israel?”

And it comes to pass, at my prophesying, that Pelatiah son of Benaiah is dying, and I fall on my face, and cry—a loud voice—and say, “Aah! Lord YHWH, You are making an end of the remnant of Israel.”

14 Me fue dirigida la palabra de Yahvé, que dijo:

And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,

15 “Hijo de hombre, tus hermanos, sí, tus hermanos, tus parientes más cercanos, y toda la casa de Israel, estos son aquellos a quienes dicen los habitantes de Jerusalén: «Alejaos de Yahvé; a nosotros nos ha sido dada en posesión esta tierra.»

“Son of man, your brothers, your brothers, men of your family, and all the house of Israel—all of it—[are] they to whom inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Keep far off from YHWH;

16 Por eso has de anunciar: Así dice Yahvé, el Señor: Aunque los he llevado lejos, entre las naciones, y aunque los he dispersado por los países, Yo mismo les serviré, por un breve tiempo, de santuario en medio de los territorios adonde se han ido.

it [is] ours, the land has been given for an inheritance; therefore say, Thus said Lord YHWH: Because I put them far off among nations, And because I scattered them through lands, I am also for a little sanctuary to them, In lands to where they have gone in.

17 Vaticina, pues: Así dice Yahvé, el Señor: Yo os reuniré de entre los pueblos, y os recogeré de entre los países en los cuales habéis sido dispersados, y os daré la tierra de Israel.

Therefore say, Thus said Lord YHWH: And I have assembled you from the peoples, And I have gathered you from the lands, Into which you have been scattered, And I have given the ground of Israel to you.

18 Volverán allá, y quitarán de ella todos sus ídolos y todas sus abominaciones.

And they have gone in there, And turned aside all its detestable things, And all its abominations—out of it.

19 Yo les daré un mismo sentir, y pondré en sus corazones un nuevo espíritu; quitaré el corazón de piedra de en medio de su carne y les daré un corazón de carne;

And I have given one heart to them, And I give a new spirit in your midst, And I have turned the heart of stone out of their flesh, And I have given a heart of flesh to them.

20 para que observen mis preceptos, y guarden mis leyes y las practiquen; y serán ellos mi pueblo, y Yo seré su Dios.

So that they walk in My statutes, And keep My judgments, and have done them, And they have been to Me for a people, And I am to them for God.

21 Pero a aquellos, cuyo corazón sigue los deseos de sus ídolos y abominaciones, les echaré sus obras sobre su cabeza, dice Yahvé, el Señor

As for those whose heart is going to the heart Of their detestable things and their abominations, I have put their way on their head, A declaration of Lord YHWH.”

22 Entonces los Querubines alzaron sus alas y los siguieron las ruedas; y la gloria del Dios de Israel estaba por encima de ellos.

And the cherubim lift up their wings, and the wheels [are] alongside them, and the glory of the God of Israel [is] over them above.

23 La gloria de Yahvé se elevó (retirándose) de la ciudad, y se paró sobre el monte que está al oriente de la ciudad.

And the glory of YHWH goes up from off the midst of the city, and stands on the mountain, that [is] on the east of the city.

24 Luego me alzó el Espíritu y me llevó en visión, en espíritu de Dios, a Caldea donde estaban los cautivos. Y desapareció de mí la visión que había tenido.

And [the] Spirit has lifted me up, and brings me to Chaldea, to the expulsion, in a vision, by [the] Spirit of God, and the vision that I have seen goes up from off me;

25 Después dije a los cautivos todo lo que Yahvé me había manifestado.

and I speak to the expulsion all the matters of YHWH that He has showed me.
