Ezequiel 10

1 Miré y vi que en el firmamento que estaba sobre las cabezas de los Querubines, apareció una como piedra de zafiro, que figuraba sobre ellos a manera de un trono.

Then I saw, and, behold, on the vault that was above the head of the cherubim, there appeared over them something like a sapphire stone, something similar in appearance to the likeness of a throne.

2 Y habló Él al varón vestido de lino, diciendo: “Métete por entre las ruedas, por debajo del Querubín, y llena tus manos de brasas de fuego de entre los Querubines, y espárcelas sobre la ciudad.” Y él fue a vista mía.

And he said unto the man clothed in linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, under the cherub, and fill thy hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim, and throw [them] over the city. And he went in before my eyes.

3 Los Querubines estaban de pie a la derecha de la Casa cuando fue aquel varón; y la nube llenaba el atrio interior.

Now the cherubim were standing on the right side of the house, when the man went in: and the cloud filled the inner court.

4 Entonces la gloria de Yahvé se elevó de encima de los Querubines y (se trasladó) al umbral de la Casa, la cual se llenó de la nube, y el atrio se hinchó del resplandor de la gloria de Yahvé.

Then the glory of the Lord rose upward from the cherub, toward the threshold of the house: and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the Lord's glory.

5 El ruido de las alas de los Querubines se oía hasta el atrio exterior, a manera de la voz del Dios Todopoderoso cuando habla.

And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard as far as the outer court, like the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh.

6 Luego que Él hubo mandado al varón vestido de lino, diciendo: “Saca fuego de entre las ruedas, de en medio de los Querubines”, entró aquel y se paró junto a una rueda.

And it came to pass, when he commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubim, that he went in, and stood beside the wheel.

7 Y un Querubín alargó su mano de en medio de los Querubines, hacia el fuego que se hallaba entre los Querubines, tomó (de él) y lo puso en las manos del que estaba vestido de lino; el cual lo tomó y se marchó.

And the one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubim unto the fire that was between the cherubim, and lifted it up, and placed it into the hands of the one clothed in linen; who took it, and went out.

8 Se mostró entonces que los Querubines tenían algo como brazos de hombre, bajo sus alas.

And there became visible on the cherubim the form of a man's hand beneath their wings.

9 Y miré, y he aquí que había cuatro ruedas junto a los Querubines, una rueda al lado de cada Querubín; y el aspecto de las ruedas era semejante al resplandor de la piedra de Tarsis.

And I saw, and, behold, there were four wheels by the cherubim, one wheel by the one cherub, and another wheel by the other cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was like the glitter of a chrysolite stone.

10 En cuanto a su forma, las cuatro tenían una misma estructura, como si una rueda estuviese atravesando a otra rueda.

And as for their appearances, the whole four had one likeness, as if a wheel were in the midst of another wheel.

11 Cuando se movían, iban hacia sus cuatro lados; no mudaban de frente cuando caminaban, pues hacia la parte adonde se dirigían sus cabezas, allí andaban, de modo que no tenían que mudar de frente cuando caminaban.

In their going, they went toward their four sides, they turned not round in their going; but to the place whither the head was turned they followed it, they turned not round in their going.

12 Todo su cuerpo, sus espaldas, sus manos y sus alas estaban llenos de ojos y también las ruedas en toda la superficie de las cuatro ruedas.

And their whole body, and their back, and their hands, and their wings, as also the wheels, were full of eyes round about, [even] the wheels that belonged to all four of them.

13 Y oí que las ruedas tenían el nombre de “volubles”.

As for the wheels, they were called Galgal before my ears.

14 Cada uno (de los Querubines) tenía cuatro caras: la primera cara era cara de Querub, la segunda, cara de hombre, la tercera, cara de león, y la cuarta, cara de águila.

And every one had four faces: the one face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third face was the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

15 Y se levantaron los Querubines. Eran los mismos seres vivientes que yo había visto junto al río Cobar.

And the cherubim lifted themselves up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river Kebar.

16 Al caminar los Querubines, caminaban también las ruedas a su lado, y cuando los Querubines levantaban sus alas para remontarse de la tierra, las ruedas no se apartaban de ellos.

And when the cherubim went forward, the wheels went close by them; and when the cherubim lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the wheels also did not turn away from beside them.

17 Cuando se detenían aquellos, se detenían también estas, y al levantarse aquellos, se levantaban estas con ellos, porque el espíritu del ser viviente estaba en ellas.

When those halted, these halted; and when those lifted themselves up, these lifted themselves up with them; for the spirit of the living creature was in them.

18 Entonces la gloria de Yahvé partió del umbral de la Casa y se puso encima de los Querubines.

And the glory of the Lord went forth from off the threshold of the house, and halted over the cherubim.

19 Y alzando los Querubines sus alas, se remontaron del suelo, a mi vista, y salieron con las ruedas a su lado. Se detuvieron a la entrada de la puerta oriental de la Casa de Yahvé, y la gloria del Dios de Israel estaba sobre ellos.

And the cherubim lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth before my eyes as they went forth, and the wheels at the same time with them, and halted at the entrance of the east gate of the house of the Lord: and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

20 Eran los mismos seres vivientes que yo había visto debajo del Dios de Israel junto al río Cobar; y comprendí que eran Querubines.

This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river Kebar; and I understood that they were cherubim.

21 Cada uno tenía cuatro caras, y cada uno tenía cuatro alas; y debajo de sus alas tenían algo como una mano de hombre.

Every one had four faces apiece, and every one had four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.

22 Y era la figura de sus caras como las caras que yo había visto junto al río Cobar; tenían el mismo aspecto eran los mismos. Cada uno se movía según la dirección de su cara.

And the likeness of their faces was the same as the faces which I had seen by the river Kebar, their appearances and themselves: they went every one in the direction of his face.
