Éxodo 6

1 Respondió Yahvé a Moisés: “Ahora verás lo que voy a hacer al Faraón; porque por mano poderosa los dejará salir, y debido a una mano fuerte los arrojará él mismo de su país.”

And YHWH says to Moses, “Now you see that which I do to Pharaoh, for with a strong hand he sends them away, indeed, with a strong hand he casts them out of his land.”

2 Y habló Dios a Moisés y le dijo: “Yo soy Yahvé;

And God speaks to Moses and says to him, “I [am] YHWH,

3 Me aparecí a Abrahán, a Isaac y a Jacob como Dios Todopoderoso; mas con mi nombre de Yahvé no me di a conocer a ellos.

and I appear to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty; as for My Name YHWH, I have not been known to them;

4 Establecí también mi pacto con ellos, para darles la tierra de Canaán, la tierra de sus peregrinaciones, donde moraban como extranjeros.

and I have also established My covenant with them, to give the land of Canaan to them, the land of their sojournings, wherein they have sojourned;

5 He oído el gemido de los hijos de Israel, a quienes los egipcios han reducido a servidumbre, y tengo presente mi pacto.

and I have also heard the groaning of the sons of Israel, whom the Egyptians are causing to serve, and I remember My covenant.

6 Por tanto, di a los hijos de Israel: Yo soy Yahvé; Yo os sacaré de debajo de las cargas de los egipcios, os libertaré de su esclavitud y os salvaré con brazo extendido y con grandes juicios.

Therefore say to the sons of Israel: I [am] YHWH, and I have brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and have delivered you from their service, and have redeemed you by an outstretched arm, and by great judgments,

7 Yo os adoptaré por pueblo mío, y seré vuestro Dios; y conoceréis que Yo soy Yahvé, vuestro Dios, que os sacaré de la esclavitud de Egipto.

and have taken you to Myself for a people, and I have been to you for God, and you have known that I [am] your God YHWH, who is bringing you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians;

8 Yo os llevaré a la tierra que he jurado dar a Abrahán, a Isaac y a Jacob, y os la daré en heredad. Yo Yahvé.”

and I have brought you to the land which I have lifted up My hand to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, and have given it to you—a possession; I [am] YHWH.”

9 Habló, pues, Moisés de esta manera a los hijos de Israel; pero ellos no escucharon a Moisés, por cortedad de espíritu, y a causa de la dura servidumbre.

And Moses speaks so to the sons of Israel, and they did not listen to Moses, for anguish of spirit, and for harsh service.

10 Habló entonces Yahvé a Moisés, diciendo:

And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,

11 “Ve a hablar con el Faraón, rey de Egipto, para que deje salir a los hijos de Israel fuera de su territorio.”

“Go in, speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he sends the sons of Israel out of his land”;

12 Respondió Moisés en la presencia de Yahvé, y dijo: “Mira, los hijos de Israel no me escuchan; ¿cómo me va a escuchar el Faraón, a mí que soy incircunciso de labios?”

and Moses speaks before YHWH, saying, “Behold, the sons of Israel have not listened to me, and how does Pharaoh hear me, and I of uncircumcised lips?”

13 Entonces habló Yahvé a Moisés y a Aarón, y les dio órdenes para los hijos de Israel y para el Faraón, rey de Egipto, a fin de sacar del país de Egipto a los hijos de Israel.

And YHWH speaks to Moses and to Aaron, and charges them for the sons of Israel, and for Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt.

14 Estos son los jefes de sus casas paternas: Hijos de Rubén, primogénito de Israel: Henoc, Falú, Hesrón y Carmí. Estas son las familias de Rubén.

These [are] heads of the house of their fathers. Sons of Reuben firstborn of Israel: Enoch, and Phallu, Hezron, and Carmi; these [are] families of Reuben.

15 Hijos de Simeón: Jemuel, Jamín, Ohad, Jaquín, Sóhar y Saúl, hijo de la cananea. Estas son las familias de Simeón.

And sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul, son of the Canaanite; these [are] families of Simeon.

16 Y estos son los nombres de los hijos de Leví por sus linajes: Gersón, Caat y Merarí. Y los años de la vida de Leví fueron ciento treinta y siete años.

And these [are] the names of the sons of Levi, as to their births: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari; and the years of the life of Levi [are] one hundred and thirty-seven years.

17 Hijos de Gersón: Lobní y Semeí, según sus familias.

The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimi, as to their families.

18 Hijos de Caat: Amram, Ishar, Hebrón y Uciel. Los años de la vida de Caat fueron ciento treinta y tres años.

And the sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel; and the years of the life of Kohath [are] one hundred and thirty-three years.

19 Hijos de Merarí: Mahelí y Musí. Estas son las familias de los levitas, por sus linajes.

And the sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi; these [are] families of Levi, as to their births.

20 Amram tomó por mujer a Jocábed, su tía, de la cual le nacieron Aarón y Moisés. Y los años de la vida de Amram fueron ciento treinta y siete.

And Amram takes his aunt Jochebed to himself for a wife, and she bears Aaron and Moses to him; and the years of the life of Amram [are] one hundred and thirty-seven years.

21 Hijos de Ishar: Coré, Néfeg y Sicrí.

And sons of Izhar: Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.

22 Hijos de Uciel: Misael, Elsafán y Sitrí.

And sons of Uzziel: Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.

23 Aarón tomó por mujer a Elisabet, hija de Aminadab, hermana de Naasón; de la cual le nacieron Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.

And Aaron takes Elisheba daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to himself for a wife, and she bears to him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

24 Hijos de Coré: Asir, Elcaná y Abiasaf. Estas son las familias de los coreítas.

And sons of Korah: Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these [are] families of the Korahite.

25 Eleazar, hijo de Aarón tomó por mujer a una de las hijas de Futiel, y de ella nació Fineés. Estos son los jefes de las casas de los levitas, según sus familias.

And Eleazar, Aaron’s son, has taken to himself [one] of the daughters of Putiel for a wife for himself, and she bears Phinehas to him; these [are] heads of the fathers of the Levites, as to their families.

26 Estos, pues, son aquel Aarón y aquel Moisés a quienes dijo Yahvé: “Sacad a los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto, según sus escuadras.”

This [is] Aaron—and Moses—to whom YHWH said, “Bring out the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, by their hosts”;

27 Estos son los que hablaron al Faraón, rey de Egipto, para sacar de Egipto a los hijos de Israel. Estos son Moisés y Aarón.

these are they who are speaking to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the sons of Israel from Egypt, this [is] Moses—and Aaron.

28 Y sucedió que en el día en que Yahvé habló a Moisés en el país de Egipto,

And it comes to pass in the day of YHWH’s speaking to Moses in the land of Egypt,

29 le habló en estos términos: “Yo soy Yahvé; di al Faraón, rey de Egipto, todo lo que Yo te digo.”

that YHWH speaks to Moses, saying, “I [am] YHWH, speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I am speaking to you.”

30 Y Moisés respondió ante Yahvé: “Mira, yo soy incircunciso de labios. ¿Cómo me va a escuchar el Faraón?”

And Moses says before YHWH, “Behold, I [am] of uncircumcised lips, and how does Pharaoh listen to me?”
