Éxodo 40
1 Habló Yahvé a Moisés y dijo:
Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
2 “El día primero del primer mes erigirás la Morada del Tabernáculo de la Reunión.
"On the first day of the first month you shall raise up the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.
3 Pondrás allí el Arca del Testimonio y cubrirás el Arca con el velo.
You shall put the ark of the testimony in it, and you shall veil the ark with the curtain.
4 Introducirás la mesa y dispondrás lo que hay que poner sobre ella; colocarás también el candelabro y ubicarás en él las lámparas.
You shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are on it. You shall bring in the lampstand, and light its lamps.
5 Erigirás el altar de oro para el incienso delante del Arca del Testimonio y pondrás la cortina a la entrada del Tabernáculo.
You shall set the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the screen of the door to the tabernacle.
6 Colocarás el altar de los holocaustos delante de la entrada de la Morada del Tabernáculo de la Reunión.
You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.
7 Pondrás la pila entre el Tabernáculo de la Reunión y el altar, y echarás agua en ella,
You shall set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and shall put water in it.
8 levantarás el atrio en derredor y tenderás la cortina a la entrada del atrio.
You shall set up the court around it, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court.
9 Y tomarás el óleo de la unción y ungirás la Morada y todo lo que hay en ella. La consagrarás con todos sus utensilios para que sea santa.
You shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is in it, and shall make it holy, and all its furniture: and it will be holy.
10 Ungirás también el altar de los holocaustos con todos sus utensilios. Consagrarás el altar, y el altar será cosa santísima.
You shall anoint the altar of burnt offering, with all its vessels, and sanctify the altar: and the altar will be most holy.
11 Asimismo ungirás la pila y su base, y la consagrarás.
You shall anoint the basin and its base, and sanctify it.
12 Después dispondrás que Aarón y sus hijos se presenten a la entrada del Tabernáculo de la Reunión y los lavarás con agua.
You shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall wash them with water.
13 Y vestirás a Aarón con las vestiduras sagradas, le ungirás y le consagrarás para que me sirva de sacerdote.
You shall put on Aaron the holy garments; and you shall anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest's office.
14 Harás también que se presenten sus hijos; los vestirás con túnicas
You shall bring his sons, and put coats on them.
15 y los ungirás, como ungiste a su padre, para que me sirvan de sacerdotes. Su unción les conferirá el sacerdocio sempiterno entre sus descendientes.”
You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the priest's office. Their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations."
16 Hizo Moisés conforme a todo lo que Yahvé le había mandado. Así lo hizo.
Moses did so. According to all that Jehovah commanded him, so he did.
17 En el primer mes del año segundo, el día primero del mes, fue erigida la Morada.
It happened in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was set up.
18 Moisés alzó la Morada, asentó sus basas, colocó sus tablones, metió sus travesaños y erigió sus columnas.
And Moses erected the tabernacle, and put its sockets in place, and set up its hooks and its boards, and put in its bars, and he erected its pillars.
19 Después extendió el Tabernáculo por encima de la Morada y puso sobre ella, por la parte de arriba, la cubierta del Tabernáculo, como Yahvé había mandado a Moisés.
He spread the covering over the tent, and put the roof of the tabernacle above on it, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
20 Luego tomó el Testimonio y lo depositó dentro del Arca; acomodó las varas al Arca y asentó sobre ella el propiciatorio.
He took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the poles on the ark, and put the mercy seat above on the ark.
21 Metió el Arca en la Morada, colgó la cortina del velo y ocultó el Arca del Testimonio, como Yahvé había mandado a Moisés.
He brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the curtain as the screen, and concealed the ark of the testimony, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
22 Colocó también la mesa en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, al lado septentrional de la Morada, fuera del velo.
He put the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside of the veil.
23 Y dispuso sobre ella los panes delante de Yahvé, así como Yahvé ordenara a Moisés.
He set the bread in order on it before Jehovah, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
24 Luego instaló el candelabro en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, frente a la mesa, en el lado meridional de la Morada,
He put the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.
25 y colocó las lámparas delante de Yahvé, como Yahvé había mandado a Moisés.
He lit the lamps before Jehovah, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
26 Asimismo erigió el altar de oro en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, delante del velo;
He put the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting before the veil;
27 y quemó sobre él incienso aromático, como Yahvé había mandado a Moisés.
and he burnt incense of sweet spices on it, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
28 Tendió la cortina a la entrada de la Morada,
He put up the screen of the door to the tabernacle.
29 y colocó también el altar de los holocaustos a la entrada de la Morada del Tabernáculo de la Reunión; y ofreció sobre él el holocausto y la ofrenda, como Yahvé había mandado a Moisés.
He set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
30 La pila la colocó entre el Tabernáculo de la Reunión y el altar, y echó en ella agua para las abluciones;
He set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water in it, with which to wash.
31 y Moisés y Aarón y los hijos de este se lavaron en ella sus manos y sus pies.
Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and their feet there.
32 Siempre que entraban en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, y siempre que se acercaban al altar, se lavaban, como Yahvé había mandado a Moisés.
When they went into the Tent of Meeting, and when they came near to the altar, they washed, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
33 Por fin erigió el atrio alrededor de la Morada y del altar, y puso la cortina a la puerta del atrio. Así acabó Moisés la obra.
He raised up the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.
34 Entonces la nube cubrió el Tabernáculo de la Reunión y la gloria de Yahvé llenó la Morada,
Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of Jehovah filled the tabernacle.
35 de modo que Moisés no pudo entrar en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, pues la nube descansaba sobre este, y la gloria de Yahvé llenaba la Morada.
Moses wasn't able to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and Jehovah's glory filled the tabernacle.
36 En todas sus marchas los hijos de Israel levantaban el campamento cuando la nube se alzaba de encima de la Morada. Y si la nube no se levantaba, no marchaban, hasta el día en que se levantaba. Porque durante el día estaba sobre la Morada la nube de Yahvé, en la cual durante la noche había fuego, viéndolo toda la casa de Israel en todas sus marchas.
When the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys;
but if the cloud wasn't taken up, then they did not travel until the day that it was taken up.
For the cloud of Jehovah was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
