Daniel 12
1 En aquel tiempo se alzará Miguel, el gran príncipe y defensor de los hijos de tu pueblo; y vendrá tiempo de angustia cual nunca ha habido desde que existen naciones hasta ese tiempo. En ese tiempo será librado tu pueblo, todo aquel que se hallare inscrito en el libro.
And at that time shall Michael stand vp, ye great prince, which standeth for ye children of thy people, and there shall be a time of trouble, such as neuer was since there began to be a nation vnto that same time: and at that time thy people shall be deliuered, euery one that shall be foud written in ye boke.
2 También muchos de los que duermen en el polvo de la tierra se despertarán, unos para vida eterna, otros para ignominia y vergüenza eterna.
And many of them that sleepe in the dust of the earth, shall awake, some to euerlasting life, and some to shame and perpetuall contempt.
3 Entonces los sabios brillarán como el resplandor del firmamento, y los que condujeron a muchos a la justicia, como las estrellas por toda la eternidad.
And they that be wise, shall shine, as ye brightnes of the firmament: and they that turne many to righteousnes, shall shine as the starres, for euer and euer.
4 Tú, Daniel, encierra estas palabras, y sella el libro hasta el tiempo del fin. Muchos buscarán y se acrecentará el conocimiento.”
But thou, O Daniel, shut vp the words, and seale the boke til the end of the time: many shall run to and from, and knowledge shall be increased.
5 Y yo, Daniel, miré y vi otros dos que estaban en pie el uno aquende el río y el otro allende el río.
Then I Daniel looked, and behold, there stood other two, ye one on this side of ye brinke of ye riuer, and the other on that side of ye brinke of the riuer.
6 Y dijo (uno de los dos) al varón vestido de lino que estaba sobre las aguas del río: “¿Cuándo será el cumplimiento de estas maravillas?”
And one saide vnto the man clothed in linen, which was vpon ye waters of the riuer, When shalbe the ende of these wonders?
7 Y oí al varón vestido de lino, que estaba sobre las aguas del río, cuando levantando su diestra y su izquierda hacia el cielo juró por Aquel que vive eternamente que eso será dentro de un tiempo, (dos) tiempos y la mitad (de un tiempo) y que todas estas cosas se cumplirán cuando el poder del pueblo santo sea completamente destruido.
And I heard ye man clothed in line which was vpon the waters of the riuer, when he helde vp his right hand, and his left hand vnto heauen, and sware by him that liueth for euer, that it shall tarie for a time, two times and an halfe: and when he shall haue accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
8 Yo oí, pero no comprendí. Dije, “Señor mío: ¿cuál será el fin de estas cosas?”
The I heard it, but I vnderstood it not: the said I, O my Lord, what shalbe ye end of these things?
9 Y él respondió: “Anda, Daniel; pues estas palabras están cerradas y selladas hasta el tiempo del fin.
And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for ye words are closed vp, and sealed, till the ende of the time.
10 Muchos serán purificados y blanqueados y acrisolados; pero los malos seguirán haciendo el mal, y ninguno de los malvados entenderá; mas los sabios entenderán.
Many shalbe purified, made white, and tried: but the wicked shall doe wickedly, and none of the wicked shall haue vnderstanding: but the wise shall vnderstand.
11 Desde el tiempo en que será quitado el sacrificio perpetuo y entronizada la abominación desoladora, pasarán mil doscientos noventa días.
And from the time that the daily sacrifice shalbe take away and the abominable desolatio set vp, there shalbe a thousand, two hundreth and ninetie daies.
12 ¡Bienaventurado el que espere, y llegue a mil trescientos treinta y cinco días!
Blessed is he that waiteth and commeth to the thousand, three hundreth and fiue and thirtie daies.
13 Tú, empero, marcha hacia tu fin y descansa, y te levantarás para (recibir) tu herencia al fin de los días.”
But go thou thy way til the end be: for thou shalt rest and stand vp in thy lot, at the end of ye daies.
