1 Juan 1
1 Lo que era desde el principio, lo que hemos oído, lo que hemos visto con nuestros ojos, lo que hemos contemplado, y lo que han palpado nuestras manos, tocante al Verbo de vida,
WE announce to you that, which was from the beginning, which we have heard, and have seen with our eyes, looked upon, and handled with our hands, that which is the word of life.
2 pues la vida se ha manifestado y la hemos visto, y ( de ella ) damos testimonio, y os anunciamos la vida eterna, la misma que estaba con el Padre, y se dejó ver de nosotros, (aiōnios g166)
And the life was manifested, and we have seen and do testify and announce to you, the life which is eternal; which was with the Father, and was revealed to us. (aiōnios g166)
3 esto que hemos visto y oído es lo que os anunciamos también a vosotros, para que también vosotros tengáis comunión con nosotros y nuestra comunión sea con el Padre y con el Hijo suyo Jesucristo.
And what we have seen and heard, we make known to you also, that ye may have fellowship with us; and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus the Messiah.
4 Os escribimos esto para que vuestro gozo sea cumplido.
And these things we write to you, that our joy in you may be complete.
5 Este es el mensaje que de Él hemos oído y que os anunciamos: Dios es luz y en Él no hay tiniebla alguna.
And this is the announcement, which we have heard from him and declare to you, that God is light, and no darkness at all is in him.
6 Si decimos que tenemos comunión con Él y andamos en tinieblas, mentimos, y no obramos la verdad.
And if we say that we have fellowship with him, and we walk in the darkness, we are liars, and walk not in the truth.
7 Pero si caminamos a la luz, como Él está en la luz, tenemos comunión unos con otros, y la sangre de su Hijo Jesús nos limpia de todo pecado.
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with each other and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all our sins.
8 Si decimos que no tenemos pecado, nos engañamos a nosotros mismos, y la verdad no está en nosotros.
And if we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 Si confesamos nuestros pecados, Él es fiel y justo para perdonarnos los pecados, y limpiarnos de toda iniquidad.
But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous, to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all our iniquity.
10 Si decimos que no hemos pecado, le declaramos a Él mentiroso, y su palabra no está en nosotros.
If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not with us.
