1 Xusuusi iyaga inay taliyayaasha iyo kuwa amarka leh ka dambeeyaan, oo ay dhego nuglaadaan, oo ay shuqul kasta oo wanaagsan diyaar u ahaadaan,
Remind people that they must submit to the rulers who are in authority over them; that they must obey the magistrates, be prepared for every right action,
2 oo ayan ninna caayin oo noqon kuwa ilaaq badan, laakiinse dadka oo dhan roonaan iyo qaboobaan ha tuseen.
not speak evil of any one, nor be contentious, but yield unselfishly to others and constantly manifest a forgiving spirit towards all men.
3 Waayo, innaguba waa baynu ahayn nacasyo, iyo caasiyiin, iyo kuwa la khiyaaneeyey, iyo addoommada damacyada xaaraanta ah iyo raaxooyinka kala duduwan, oo waxaynu ku socon jirnay xumaan iyo xaasidnimo, oo waxaynu ahaan jirnay kuwo la nebcaaday oo iyana midba midka kale neceb yahay.
For there was a time when we also were deficient in understanding, obstinate, deluded, the slaves of various cravings and pleasures, spending our lives in malice and envy, hateful ourselves and hating one another.

which He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 inaynu, innagoo quduus laynagaga dhigay nimcadiisa, rajada ku noqonno kuwo nolol weligeed ah dhaxla. (aiōnios g166)
in order that having been declared righteous through His grace we might become heirs to the Life of the Ages in fulfilment of our hopes. (aiōnios g166)
8 Hadalkanu waa run, oo xagga waxyaalahan waxaan doonayaa inaad ku adkaysatid in kuwa Ilaah rumaysanu ay digtoonaadaan inay shuqullo wanaagsan ku dadaalaan. Waxyaalahanu way wanaagsan yihiin, dadkana wax bay u taraan.
This is a faithful saying, and on these various points I would have you insist strenuously, in order that those who have their faith fixed on God may be careful to set an example of good actions. For these are not only good in themselves, but are also useful to mankind.
9 Laakiin ka fogow su'aalaha nacasnimada ah, iyo abtirsiinyada, iyo murannada, iyo ilaaqda sharciga ku saabsan, waayo, waxtar iyo micne toona ma leh.
But hold yourself aloof from foolish controversies and pedigrees and discussions and wrangling about the Law, for they are useless and vain.
10 Haddaad nin bidci ah mar iyo laba waanisid dabadeed ka leexo,
After a first and second admonition, have nothing further to do with any one who will not be taught;
11 adigoo garanaya in ninka caynkaas ahu qalloocan yahay oo dembaabo isagoo isxukumay.
for, as you know, a man of that description has turned aside from the right path and is a sinner self-condemned.
12 Markaan kuu soo diro Artemaas ama Tukhikos aad ugu dadaal inaad iigu timaado Nikobolis, waayo, waxaan goostay inaan xilliga qabow meeshaas joogi doono.
After I have sent Artemas or Tychicus to you, lose no time in joining me at Nicopolis; for I have decided to pass the winter there.
13 Ku dadaal inaad Seenaas kan sharciga yaqaan iyo Abolloos soo ambabbixisid si ayan waxba ugu baahan.
Help Zenas the lawyer forward on his journey with special care, and Apollos, so that they may have all they require.
14 Dadkeennuna ha barto inay shuqullo wanaagsan ugu dadaalaan caawimaadda loo baahan yahay, inayan kuwo aan midho lahayn noqonin.
And let our people too learn to set a good example in following honest occupations for the supply of their necessities, so that they may not live useless lives.
15 Kuwa ila jooga oo dhammu way ku soo salaamayaan. Igu salaan kuwa iimaanka nagu jecel. Nimco ha idinla wada jirto.
