1 Rabbigaa taliya, oo wuxuu huwan yahay haybad, Rabbigu waa huwan yahay, oo wuxuu dhexda ku xidhay xoog, Duniduna waxay u dhisan tahay si aan la dhaqaajin karin.

The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, [wherewith] he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

2 Carshigaagu wuxuu dhismay waa hore, Oo adiguna waxaad jirtay tan iyo weligaa.

Thy throne [is] established of old: thou [art] from everlasting.

3 Rabbiyow, webiyadii kor bay u kaceen, Webiyadii codkooday kor u qaadeen, Oo webiyadii waxay kor u qaadeen hirarkoodii.

The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

4 Biyaha badan codkooda, Iyo mawjadaha badda oo waaweynba Waxaa ka sii xoog badan Rabbiga sare.

The LORD on high [is] mightier than the noise of many waters, [yea, than] the mighty waves of the sea.

5 Rabbiyow, markhaatifurkaagu waa hubaal, Oo weligaaba waxaa gurigaaga ku habboon quduusnimo.

Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.
