< Sabuurradii 92 >

1 Waa wanaagsan tahay in Rabbiga lagu mahadnaqo, Iyo in magacaaga ammaan loogu gabyo, Ilaaha ugu sarreeyow,
Yahweh, it is good for people to thank you and to sing to praise you [MTY] who are greater than any other god.
2 Iyo in raxmaddaada aroorta la muujiyo, Habeen kastana aaminnimadaada,
It is good to proclaim every morning that you faithfully love us, and each night [to sing songs that] declare that you always do what you have promised to do,
3 Iyo in loogu heeso alaabta muusikada oo tobanka xadhig leh, iyo shareeradda, Iyo dhawaaqa kataaradda.
accompanied by [musicians playing] harps that have ten strings, and by the sounds made by a lyre.
4 Waayo, Rabbiyow, waxaad igaga farxisay shuqulkaagii, Oo shuqullada gacmahaagana waan ku guulaysan doonaa.
Yahweh, you have caused me to be glad; I sing joyfully because of what you [SYN] have done.
5 Rabbiyow, shuqulladaadu waaweynaa! Oo fikirradaaduna aad bay u mool dheer yihiin.
Yahweh, the things that you do are great! But it is difficult for us to understand [all] that you think.
6 Doqonku taas ma yaqaan, Kii nacas ahuna ma garan karo.
There are things [that you do] that foolish people cannot know about, things that stupid people cannot understand.
7 Kuwa sharka lahu markii ay sida doog u soo baxaan, Iyo markii xumaanfalayaasha oo dhammu ay barwaaqoobaan, Waa in weligoodba la baabbi'iyo,
They do not understand that although the number of wicked [people] increases [like blades of] grass do [SIM], and they prosper, they will be completely destroyed.
8 Laakiinse Rabbiyow, adigu waad sarraysaa weligaa iyo weligaaba.
But Yahweh, you [will] exalted/be honored/rule) forever.
9 Waayo, Rabbiyow, bal eeg cadaawayaashaada, Bal eeg, cadaawayaashaadu way wada baabbi'i doonaane, Oo xumaanfalayaasha oo dhammuna way kala firidhsanaan doonaan.
Yahweh, your enemies will [certainly] die, and those who do wicked things will be defeated/scattered.
10 Laakiinse geeskayga waxaad u sarraysiisay sida geeska gisiga Oo waxaa laygu subkay saliid cusub.
But you have caused me to be as strong [MTY] as [SIM] a wild ox; you have caused me to be very joyful [MTY].
11 Indhahayguna waxay arkeen wixii aan cadaawayaashayda la jeclaa, Oo dhegahayguna waxay maqleen wixii aan la jeclaa sharfalayaasha igu kaca.
I [SYN] have seen you defeat my enemies; d I have heard those evil men wail/scream while they were being slaughtered.
12 Kii xaq ahu wuxuu u barwaaqoobi doonaa sida geed timireed, Oo wuxuu u bixi doonaa sida geed kedar la yidhaahdo oo Lubnaan.
But righteous [people] will prosper like [SIM] palm trees that grow well, or like [SIM] cedar [trees] that grow in Lebanon.
13 Kuwa guriga Rabbiga lagu dhex beeray Waxay ku barwaaqoobi doonaan barxadaha Ilaahayaga.
[They are like the trees] that grow near the temple of Yahweh [in Jerusalem], those trees that are close to the courtyard of the temple of our God.
14 Oo weliba midho bay dhali doonaan iyagoo gaboobay, Oo waxaa ka buuxi doona muud, wayna cagaari doonaan,
[Even] when righteous people become old, they do many things [IDM] [that please God]. They remain strong and full of energy, [like trees that] [MET] remain full of sap.
15 Si ay u muujiyaan in Rabbigu qumman yahay, Isagu waa dhagaxayga gabbaadka ah, oo xaqdarro kuma jirto.
That shows that Yahweh is just; he is [like a huge] rock [under which I am safe/protected], and he never does anything that is wicked/wrong.
