1 Na maqal, Adhijirka reer binu Israa'iil jirow, Kaaga reer Yuusuf sida adhi u hor kacow, Kaaga Keruubiimta ku dul fadhiyow, soo iftiin.
To the chief Musician. On Shoshannim-Eduth. Of Asaph. A Psalm. Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that sittest [between] the cherubim, shine forth.
2 Reer Efrayim iyo reer Benyaamiin iyo reer Manaseh hortooda xooggaaga ku kici, Oo kaalay oo na badbaadi.
Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up thy strength, and come to our deliverance.
3 Ilaahow, mar kale na soo celi, Oo wejigaaga noo iftiimi, oo waannu badbaadi doonnaa.
O God, restore us; and cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.
4 Rabbiyow Ilaaha ciidammadow, Ilaa goormaad u cadhaysnaan doontaa baryootanka dadkaaga?
Jehovah, God of hosts, how long will thine anger smoke against the prayer of thy people?
5 Waxaad ku quudisay kibistii ilmada, Oo ilmo aad u badanna ayaad cabsiisay.
Thou hast fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in large measure:
6 Waxaad nala dirirsiisay derisyadayada, Oo cadaawayaashayadiina way nagu qoslaan.
Thou hast made us a strife unto our neighbours, and our enemies mock among themselves.
7 Ilaaha ciidammadow, mar kale na soo celi, Oo wejigaaga noo iftiimi, oo waannu badbaadi doonnaa.
Restore us, O God of hosts; and cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.
8 Geed canab ah ayaad dalkii Masar ka keentay, Oo intaad quruumihii ka eriday ayaad meel ku beertay.
Thou broughtest a vine out of Egypt; thou didst cast out the nations, and plant it:
9 Meel baad hortiisa ku diyaarisay, Oo wuxuu yeeshay xididdo dhaadheer, kolkaasuu dhulkii buuxiyey.
Thou preparedst space before it, and it took deep root, and filled the land;
10 Oo buurihii waxaa qariyey hooskiisii, Oo laamihiisiina waxay noqdeen sidii geedaha la yidhaahdo kedar oo Ilaah.
The mountains were covered with its shadow, and the branches thereof were [like] cedars of God;
11 Laamihiisii wuxuu gaadhsiiyey tan iyo badda, Dhudihiisiina waxay gaadheen tan iyo Webiga.
It sent out its boughs unto the sea, and its shoots unto the river.
12 Bal maxaad deyrkiisii u dumisay Si ay kuwa jidka maraa oo dhammu u goostaan?
Why hast thou broken down its fences, so that all who pass by the way do pluck it?
13 Waxaa kharriba doofaarka kaynta, Oo waxaa iska daaqda ugaadha duurka.
The boar out of the forest doth waste it, and the beast of the field doth feed off it.
14 Ilaaha ciidammadow, waannu ku baryaynaaye noo soo noqo, Samada hoos nooga soo fiiri oo intaad soo eegtid, geedkan canabka ah soo booqo,
O God of hosts, return, we beseech thee; look down from the heavens, and behold, and visit this vine;
15 Oo ilaali wixii ay gacantaada midig beertay, Iyo laantii aad adkaysatay.
Even the stock which thy right hand hath planted, and the young plant thou madest strong for thyself.
16 Dab baa lagu gubay, oo waa la gooyay, Oo waxay ku halligmeen canaantii jaahaaga.
It is burned with fire, it is cut down; they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.
17 Gacantaadu ha kor saarnaato ninka gacantaada midig jooga, Iyo binu-aadmigii aad nafsaddaada u xoogaysatay.
Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou hast made strong for thyself.
18 Markaas dib kaaga noqon mayno, Na noolee, oo markaasaannu magacaaga ku baryootamaynaa.
So will we not go back from thee. Revive us, and we will call upon thy name.
19 Rabbiyow Ilaaha ciidammadow, mar kale na soo celi, Oo wejigaaga noo iftiimi, oo waannu badbaadi doonnaa.
Restore us, O Jehovah, God of hosts; cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.
