< Sabuurradii 69 >
1 Ilaahow, i badbaadi, Waayo, biyaa naftii ii keenay.
For the leader. On shoshannim. Of David. Save me, O God; for the waters are threatening my life.
2 Waxaan ku dhex liimbadaa dhoobo mool dheer oo aan lahayn meel laysku taago, Waxaan ku dhacay biyo mool dheer, oo daad baa halkaas igu qarqinaya.
I am sunk in depths of mire, where ground there is none. I am come into deep deep waters, the flood overwhelms me.
3 Waxaan ku daalay qayladaydii, oo hungurigaygu waa qallalay, Oo intii aan Ilaahay sugayo ayay indhahaygu dem yidhaahdaan.
I am weary of crying, my throat is parched, my eyes are wasted with waiting for God.
4 Kuwa sababla'aanta ii nebcaadaa way ka sii badan yihiin timaha madaxayga, Kuwa doonaya inay i baabbi'iyaan iyagoo cadaawayaashayda gardarro igu ah waa xoog badan yihiin, Markaasaan magdhabay wax aanan qaadan.
More than the hairs of my head are those who wantonly hate me. More than my bones in number are those who are falsely my foes. That which I never robbed, how am I then to restore?
5 Ilaahow, waad og tahay nacasnimadayda, Oo dembiyadayduna kaama qarsoona.
O God, you know my folly, my guilt is not hidden from you.
6 Sayidow, Ilaaha ciidammadow, kuwa ku sugaya yaanan ceeb u soo jiidin, Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iilow, kuwa ku doondoonaya yaanan sharafjab u soo jiidin.
Through me let not any be shamed, who wait for you, Lord God of hosts. Through me let not those be confounded who seek you, O God of Israel.
7 Maxaa yeelay, adiga daraaddaa ayaan cay u qaaday, Oo waxaa wejigaygii ka muuqatay ceeb.
It’s in your cause that I have borne taunts, and my face has been covered with shame;
8 Waxaan walaalahay u noqday shisheeye, Oo ilma hooyadayna waxaan u noqday ajanabi.
I became to my kindred a foreigner, to my mother’s sons a stranger.
9 Qiiradii aan gurigaaga u qabay ayaa i gubtay, Oo caydii kuwii ku caayay ayaa igu kor dhacday.
It was zeal for your house that consumed me, and the insults they hurled at you fell upon me.
10 Markaan ooyay, oo aan naftayda soon ku edbiyey, Taasu waxay igu noqotay ceeb.
When I chastened myself with fasting, they took occasion to taunt me.
11 Markaan joonyado dhar ka dhigtayna, Waxaan iyagii u noqday masaal.
When I put on a garment of sackcloth, they made me the theme of a taunt-song.
12 Kuwa iridda fadhfadhiyaa way igu sheekaystaan, Oo kuwa sakhraanka ahuna way igu gabyaan.
Those who sit in the gate make sport of me in the music of drunken songs.
13 Laakiinse adigaan ku baryayaa wakhti la aqbali karo, Rabbiyow, Ilaahow, naxariistaada badan Iyo runta badbaadintaada iigu jawaab.
But I pray to you, Lord, for a time of favour. In your great love answer me; with your loyal help, save me
14 Dhoobada iga samatabbixi, oo yaanan ku liimban, Oo ha layga samatabbixiyo kuwa i neceb, iyo biyaha moolka dheer.
from sinking down in the mire. Lift me out of the deep deep waters,
15 Biyaha daadka ahuna yaanay i qarqin, Oo yaan moolku i liqin, Oo yamayskuna yaanu afkiisa igu qabsan.
that the rushing flood may not drown me, that the deep may not swallow me up, nor the pit close her mouth upon me.
16 Rabbiyow, ii jawaab, waayo, raxmaddaadu waa wanaagsan tahay, Naxariistaada badnaanteeda aawadeed iigu soo jeeso.
Answer me, Lord, in your gracious kindness, turn to me in your great compassion.
17 Oo wejigaaga ha iga qarin anoo addoonkaaga ah, Waayo, waan dhibaataysnahay, ee haddiiba ii jawaab.
Hide not your face from your servant, for I am in trouble; O answer me speedily.
18 Naftayda u soo dhowow, oo furo, Oo cadaawayaashayda daraaddood ii samatabbixi.
Draw near to me, redeem me; because of my enemies, ransom me.
19 Waad og tahay caydayda iyo ceebtayda iyo sharafdarradayda, Oo cadaawayaashayda oo dhammu hortaaday joogaan.
You know how I am insulted; in your sight are all my foes.
20 Cay baa i qalbi jebisay, waanan quusanayaa, Oo waxaan doondoonay mid ii jixinjixa, laakiinse waan waayay, Oo waxaan doondoonay kuwo i qalbi qaboojiya, laakiinse ma aanan helin.
Insult has broken my heart, past cure are my shame and confusion. For pity I looked – there was none! And for comforters, but I found none.
21 Oo weliba waxay cunto ahaan ii siiyeen xammeeti, Oo markaan harraadsanaana waxay i cabsiiyeen khal.
Poison they gave me for food, and to slake my thirst they gave vinegar.
22 Miiskoodu hortooda ha ku noqdo dabin, Oo markay nabdoon yihiinna shirqool ha ku noqdo.
May their table, outspread, be a trap to them, and their peace-offerings be a snare.
23 Indhahoodu ha madoobaadeen si aanay waxba u arkin, Oo simahooduna had iyo goorba ha gariireen.
May their eyes be darkened and blind, make them shake without ceasing.
24 Xanaaqaaga iyaga ku deji, Oo cadhadaada kulaylkeeduna ha qabsado.
Pour your indignation upon them, let your burning wrath overtake them.
25 Gurigoodu cidla ha noqdo, Ninnana yaanu teendhooyinkooda degin,
May their camp be a desolation, in their tents be there none to live.
26 Waayo, iyagu waxay silciyaan kii aad dishay, Oo waxay ka sheekeeyaan kuwaad dhaawacday murugtooda.
For those whom you struck, they persecute, and those whom you wounded, they pain yet more.
27 Xumaantooda xumaan ugu sii dar, Oo yaanay xaqnimadaada soo gelin.
Charge them with sin upon sin, may they not be acquitted by you.
28 Magacooda ha laga tirtiro kitaabka kuwa nool, Oo yaan iyaga lala qorin kuwa xaqa ah.
From the book of life be they blotted, may their names not be written with the righteous.
29 Laakiinse anigu miskiin baan ahay, waanan murug badnahay, Ilaahow, badbaadintaadu meel sare ha i saarto.
Lift me, O God, by your help above my pain and misery.
30 Rabbiga magiciisa ayaan gabay ku ammaani doonaa, Oo waxaan isaga ku weynayn doonaa mahadnaqid.
Then will I praise God in song and magnify him with thanksgiving,
31 Oo taasuna Rabbiga way ka farxin doontaa in ka sii wanaagsan intii uu ku farxi lahaa dibi, Ama dibi sange ah oo geeso iyo qoobab leh.
which shall please the Lord better than ox, or than bullock with horns and hoofs.
32 Kuwa camal qabow way arkeen, waana faraxsan yihiin, Kuwiinna Ilaah doondoonow, qalbigiinnu ha noolaado.
The oppressed shall rejoice at the sight. You who seek after God, let your heart revive.
33 Waayo, Rabbigu wuu maqlaa kuwa baahan, Oo maxaabiistiisana ma uu quudhsado.
For the Lord listens to the poor, he does not despise his prisoners.
34 Samada, iyo dhulka, iyo badaha, Iyo waxa ku dhex dhaqaaqa oo dhammuba isaga ha ammaaneen.
Let the heavens and the earth sing his praises, the seas, and all creatures that move in them.
35 Waayo, Ilaah Siyoon wuu badbaadin doonaa, oo magaalooyinka reer Yahuudahna wuu dhisi doonaa, Oo iyana halkaasay degi doonaan, oo hanti ahaan bay u lahaan doonaan.
For God will bring help to Zion, and build up the cities of Judah, his people shall live there in possession.
36 Oo weliba waxaa halkaas dhaxli doona farcanka addoommadiisa, Oo kuwa magiciisa jecelna way dhex degganaan doonaan.
His servants’ children shall have it for heritage, and those who love him shall live therein.
